My husband took my SUV to the Sparkling Image on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, TN earlier today. When he got home and I opened the door, I just started crying!!!! My interior was never touched! I literally begged my husband to not buy their Full Service Wash Card bc they don't care!! And what's sad is how they look and smile at you, while taking your money knowing they could care less! Stupid typical corporate American bullshit. I purchased carwash cards loaded with 5 washes on them. I go to use it today - the car wash is broken and in repair. They will only do a hand wash and tell me I have to pay $50 because their "system" won't allow them to take the value of the wash off my card. Absolutely ridiculous! I've already given them my money and they refuse to accept the card due to their own problems. THIS IS ONE REASON WE NEED THE FTC - this business will be reported to them and the Better Business Bureau, for what it's worth. Which is probably zilch because our govt no longer cares whether business holds up its end of a bargain to its customer. They only care about their stock holders. Also the hand wash would take at least an hour. They told me I can go to another location miles away which is a time suck and inconvenient for me. Once I have used up these stupid cards I won't be back. What a waste of money. It's not even that good of a wash anyway. It's just better than having to do it myself. This place is amazing and so worth the money. My car was covered in dog hair and sand from vacation. Purchased the bumper to bumper membership and had the seats and carpet shampooed. My car looked amazing even though they missed some things I took it back and they cleaned and vacuumed the areas I pointed out. Logan and Chase were so amazing and accommodating when I showed them and went above and beyond to make sure I was please with the job. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with the service received. I have gone to this location many times. Once before, I had the same problem as today, however, today was worse. I told THREE people NOT to throw out my 2 cups of tea. Three!!! when I got my car back, both were thrown out. I complained and to make matters worse, I had given a generous tip to the cleaner. I was not sure which person got the tip so I could not ask for it back. The manager claimed to care, and did offer a cup of sweet tea which I do not drink. I did go over and complain to the cleaner personally and he did not seem to care. The staff clearly does not care about what the customer says. I told them that after this, I will be going to the other location in Knoxville as they don't care about the customer at this one. read more

Horrible job, inside and out. I told the girl that 2 car washes at other places did not get the sand out of the wheel wells. She said they would. They did not. The 3rd row seat was not lifted, so the floor had garbage all over it. Dog hair still everywhere, and it really wasn't that bad to start with. The 2nd row and 3rd row floor mats were left on the seats, not even put back on the floor. ​I turned right around after I left, because bug sprays were still on the windshield in my line of vision. They were polite and cleaned that and they noticed bugs were still on the front of the car and washed them off. I noticed later that there are still bugs on the front. Conclusion. I brought my vehicle in for some much needed TLC. I was the first person to arrive because I know they get very busy throughout the day. The prices are pretty reasonable based on all the work the guys are doing. There was a lot of team work and it seems like they have a efficient system to get people in and out in a timely fashion. My floor mats had puddles of dirty water on them when I almost got in. Asked the people who dried my truck off about it, and they didn't offer to dry it. I used to go to the car wash more frequently but stopped in the last year. The sales guy was so rude I vowed to never go back even when offered a free wash. I tried it again recently because I was close and my car was dirty from the rain. The crews do a decent job inside and out but always miss something but I can live with that. When I mentioned the rude guy (because yes even tho he treats people like trash he is still there) during the last service I got blown off even tho I know it's happened to more than just me. Save the money and go somewhere where they have free vacuums and you wipe it down yourself. read more

I much prefer Synergy Auto Wash - they are much more thorough and do a much better job in about half the time but I love so close to Sparkling Image I end up here a lot. The interior almost never looks like it had been touched with my full service wash. However, on my latest visit they messed up the interior again by not vacuuming my mats or under my mats but Chase caught it before they gave me the van back and went the extra mile to make sure everything was clean well and correctly. Chase deserves a raise, promotion, a management position, whatever! He's awesome!!! read more

The exterior was fabulous! But the interior was not so much in fact, I had to 'finish' the interior myself. They did not get into the nooks and crannies, and they left one of my car mats upside down! They also left one of their cleaning clothes in the seat of my car; yes, I returned it! I will not use them again. Too expensive when I have to finish up the interior. read more

Okay, so I paid 59.99 plus tax for a full wash and wax. There was specs of white rag pieces and dirt on the floor. There was a preexisting chip in my paint on the rear bumper and the wax guy went over it with the speed buffer and now there's a big gauge in it. I returned the next day because the manager that day told me they would take care of it. The next day the manager on duty hadn't been told about my situation, not only did they not give me even a PARTIAL refund, he gave me a paper to fill out to send to corporate. I am typically very happy with the service here. However, today was not typical. There were nuts and soda spills still on the center console and a marker mark on the front of the car looked the same as it did when I brought it in. That being said the floor and mats looked amazing as usual and Micah, a very sweet cashier/manager, apologized, shared what she thought went wrong and offered to correct the issues. That is exactly what I want to hear as a customer. Now I have to adjust my day and head back there. That's irritating. read more

I understand many companies are doing their best during covid, but some of the employees here are not doing anything at all. Most of them wearing their masks under their noses, the guy cleaning my car is wearing his mask on his chin, and he is literally a mouth breather. I have had my car detailed here for several years and will never go back again. I have tried to go twice in the last month, the 1st time I was told they were not doing any more details that day. They currently were not detailing any vehicles and did not close for another hour. Today, I was told that they were not taking any more details because they currently had too many to do.
