They connected me with an electrician named Jake. That was the beginning of our luck! Jake intelligently asked me to send him some pictures of the circuit panel. The circuit panel was basically an antique. He was able to diagnose the problem and gave me instructions on what to do over the phone. I am very thankful to this company. It was a wonderful experience. It was quick and easy. Jake was spot on in everything he said. What a great experience. We got a 50 amp upgrade which I thought was good. The guy organized the wires in the panel real nice. We did pay $400 for a circuit for space heaters and such and I had them put in a security light for my driveway. I don't have much experience with contractors but I feel they did a good job.

To avoid more costs and potentially more problems, I called in another company. Within 10 minutes, they found faulty wiring of the new dryer outlet and breaker, then found that the "new" breaker for the washer was not new but faulty as well. I gave Affordable Electric the opportunity to reimburse me for the $1200 cost to fix their errors, but they responded with lots of excuses. So, please be careful if you call these guys. They caused me more harm than good AND were not affordable.

He provided me a much more reasonable proposal for trenching the yard and installing new wiring that would have, among other things, done way less damage to my plantings.
