Really liked the interior atmosphere, but the food and drink I ordered were subpar. The brisket sandwich was very greasy but still had a overall decent taste, and the IPA I ordered nearly tasted like water. The waitress was generally friendly and I would try it again just would try different menu items. read more

When driving through Butte on a road trip, we were limited on options as most places were getting close to closing time. We thought we were going to have to settle and we're so pleasantly surprised to find Sparky's Garage. Our waitress was at the end of her shift, but still was able to muster enough charisma to help rally our fatigued 5 year old. The brisket was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun. What a great find in Butte Montana. Nicely decorated inside & out beautiful view/overlook of entire town from outside deck. We had the fried catfish with Cajun seasoning, corn muffin & coleslaw...!!! AWESOME! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the service was sluggish. read more

We left because we stood there for 15 minutes before the hostess even acknowledged us.I finally spoke to her loud enough so she could no longer pretend we didn't excist. She was VERY Rude. Great ambiance. They used garage oil rags for napkins. Fun for the kids, I kept wondering if I was going to get toil on me. But the novelty was worth every bit. The food was good. We came here based on other positive Yelp reviews. When we arrived, the decor was instantly a lot of fun. It's all garage themed from a gas pump by the door to a car converted to a seating booth down to oil rags for napkins. It was a lot of FUN as we were on a road trip so it was perfectly quirky and unique. The service was amazing. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and the kitchen was flexible to our requests. The food was hearty and filling. We ordered too much! The french fries and sweet potato fries were perfect crisp but soft. Meat was good. Skip the mac and cheese side, but the cornbread is goooo-ud! Just have to love the ambiance of this restaurant. It has a an old fashioned 50's style theme with lots of relic's hangin on the walls and the ceiling. Get here at the right time and you and the kids can sit in the back of the pickup truck to eat. Kids love to order the coke in the 'old' glass 12oz bottles. Great environment/theme with the garage memorabilia. Nice patio area. Really good food. However the restrooms smelled like they haven't been cleaned for days. The actual service was terrible. We were sat immediately but waitress acted like she could not be bother with us. We didn't have silverware or napkins and when asked for napkins, she brought one- there were two people eating. She also took 20 mins to bring drinks. We weren't the only table to have problems with her. read more

Wow.... I'm over disappointed. For $17 worth of brisket you get 2 little slices? Go ahead and add the $3 sausage to it otherwise you'll be sorely disappointed (and hungry). We discovered this restaurant accidentally actually, as it was down the street from the restaurant we were originally going to. I am so glad we stumbled upon it! The ambiance is fun and light, my wife and I enjoyed the environment. Food was delicious, we ordered the French onion soup and the Philly sandwiches. Drink's were a little strong but I suppose it's silly to complain about extra alcohol. The server waiting our table had only one arm to work with ,(the other one was in a cast), and he did a pretty grand job. My wife and I will definitely be visiting this place again soon. so check this place out for the barbecue it was okay the meat was all dry I tried the baby backs the pork and brisket. if you have to use a knife to cut any of the meat then to me is pretty much an indicator that it was a fail. I loved everything about this place! The environment set the scene for a garage. The place even has a tinge of grease smell in the air. I got a chicken fried steak with sweet potato fries and it was divine! I've had chicken fried steak from Texas and this was every but as tasty if not more so. You can trust me cuz I've been eating chicken fried steak since I've had arteries to clog. The sweet potato fries came with a chipotle sauce of some kind and it was finger lickin'. Stopped here on our road trip because of the great yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. Their patio wasn't open yet because of the cold weather so we weren't allowed to bring our dog in but that was no problem. Service was really good and the hostess very nice. I had the Smokehouse Philly and my husband the Bacon Mushroom Burger. We were both very happy with our meals and after a long day of driving, the beers were especially delicious. read more

We came through town for one night and looked at reviews, they had decent reviews so we had dinner. We ordered chicken wings for appetizers and when they arrived they were cold in the middle, one even had ice inside. We were disappointed but waited for dinner to arrive. My daughter ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich which she has had at many other restaurants over the years. This had a very sorry looking piece of chicken and a slice of avocado and that was it. Not lettuce, onions, sauce, nothing. Very plain. Fries also seemed like they had been sitting out and then microwaved for a few seconds. We just called it quits since we were only in town for the night. I am just posting this as I didn't see any other reviews with this experience and wanted to help others. Maybe they were just having an off night in the kitchen, but not a single dish was well made. Hope this helps someone. read more

Food took forever to come and when it did, it wasn't great. I ordered a Beyond Burger and some fries, shared fried pickles and my husband ordered a salad. The burger was "Beyond edible" as they had grilled it for way too long and the fries were cold. When I mentioned that the burger was the texture of an old shoe, the server pointed out that they were rarely ordered. I gave some polite advice on how to cook a BB, which is "very lightly". (If you are going to have something on the menu, know how to cook it!) The salad was good. Service was OK, probably would have been better if the kitchen was up to par. read more
