Did I mind my P's and Q's? I guess I did. I came here on a cold MLK day as my date wanted to check it out as it was maybe 10 minutes down the road from her? So what's good here? Let me get to the point. If you're looking for a big extensive menu, I'm not going to tell you to come here. However, if you just want to have a snack while drinking, this is a place to go. I think one thing that stood out to me here was that the prices for the food was a little high. However, the beer it was good to go. This is what we ordered and what we thought: 1. Mac N Cheese (Piggy Mac) - This Mac n Cheese has a kick to it. I believe the BBQ sauce had a little twinge of spiciness, however I felt as if the meat portion wasn't enough. It was sprinkled with some bacon pieces and then a few pieces of pulled pork. BBQ sauce was a big portion to it. 2. The Caprese Slider - Very simplistic slider. I liked this one, though in my eyes it wasn't the best, it came to a close 2nd or 3rd. 3. The Shiner Slider - In both of our opinions, this was probably the best slider at the restaurant. The onions just did it for me along with the bacon. I mean, you can never go wrong with bacon. 4. The Jack Slider - This was okay. I would have to say it tied with the Caprese or in 3rd. 5. The Pub Special - This wasn't too bad either, but still came no where near the Shiner. The day we went in, it was pretty much empty. So service was wonderful. The bartender was very nice in taking our orders as well as helping me decide which drink to buy. As I said, this place is definitely all about small plates to go along with your drink. I liked minding my P's and Q's. I believe I will be back if I'm just looking for a place to drink and watch a sports game that I can't catch at home. Worth checking out! read more

The bartender gentleman was very nice after being turned away from food 15 minutes from closing @ Steves so, we decided to walk in here and try it out, we are hungry and not too much around in this area. He suggested "the shiner" slider, which we are trying along with the turkey- apple-havarty panini..sounds good- and the roast beef chapolte. What an excellent meal!! Deep in the nowhere land of between Lenoir City and Farragut proper, a little slice of beer snob Heaven opened. It is Mind Yer Ps and Qs, and it is incredible. My wife and I got to enjoy a rare date night, and had a blast. First of all, whether you have beer drinkers, wine drinkers, or spirits drinkers in your party, this place can accommodate all three. They always have a featured beer and wine of the day, and though small, there are plenty of seats. Secondly, the food is phenomenal. I was going to snap a photo of the chupacabra flatbread and cheese platter we ordered, but we dug in too quickly. Instead, I snapped a tap handle photo of all the yum available. It's good to see a little upscale bar with quality food pop up within the far west Knox County area. Would I go back again? Yes, many times over! The piggy mac and cheese must be tried, as well as the buffalo chicken dip! First chance we get, we'll be back! read more

In that no man's land between Turkey Creek and Lenoir City, P's & Q's is an oasis. The beer list has some good surprises, and the eats are above-average for bar food. The prices on everything are decent, and Happy Hour is better. There's plenty of parking, a few patio tables out front when the weather is nice, and ample seating inside most nights. Count on being able to watch whatever big game at the bar. One drawback--the acoustics. It doesn't need to be packed to make you feel like you're shouting at the person across from you, and on nights they have live music, forget about trying to have a conversation with anyone. Staff is usually pretty attentive and friendly, though on a quiet night if you sit around the corner from the bar where you can't been seen expect service to be a little slow too. Summed up, P's and Q's does a good job of offering a little something for everyone without having an identity crisis. Even better, it's reasonably priced whatever you're having. read more

Found this place by total accident. Pulled off into what I thought was a business park so I could make a phone call(didn't know you can use your phone while driving in TN). Noticed a sign that said beer and wine and decided to give it a try. I am glad I did! First off not being from TN I thought it might be a locals only type spot as it is not seen from the road very well. After walking in and ordering I felt like I was local. The bartenders, especially Precious, were super awesome! She recommended beer and food and was super friendly. The hot dog sliders she recommended were awesome with the IPA she recommended. Second the locals that were there that night were super friendly. Met an older couple that were really nice. Also met John the regular. He was a little intense but insisted on buying me beers and I can't turn down a free beer. I highly recommend this place weather a local or visiting TN as I was. read more

Small pub, great tap beer selection, looks like an extensive bourbon selection and the food is excellent - had typical bar food appetizers of fried mushrooms and jalapeño poppers. We ordered Irish nachos (we call then Chachos - potato chip nachos) and hotdog sliders on a pretzel bun with beer cheese! Oh my... the beer (I'm an IPA guy) was great and the sliders even better. Went here to an event with my mom for Wine and Canvas. Our waitress was very nice and was able to answer our questions, she also offered us a sample before we purchased the wines which was nice because them we were able to get the one we liked as opposed to getting something and wasting our money. We also tried their pretzel & beer cheese dip which was good but had a lot of cayenne in it. The prices were reasonable with the wine being about $7 per glass and the appitizer being about $8. Overall we had a great time at the event and the wine & food was good, so if we are ever on that side of town again we know where to go for a good time. read more

We were helping my son pack and went to dinner. The food was defiantly "bar food" . Not many choices for vegetables. Pizza was sub par. I ordered margarita pizza. Fabulous addition to West Knoxville! We were finally able to check out Mind Yer P's & Q's during one of their recent wine tasting events. We were able to try and learn about 6 fantastic sparkling wines and try 4 appetizers (bruschetta, roast beef baguette bites, blackberry Brie bites and strawberry ricotta bites) all for $35. We learned a lot about different sparkling wines and were provided and very nice handout to take him. I was very impressed with this event! In addition to the taste, we also tried one of their apps, buffalo chicken dip, which was absolutely delicious! It tasted just like my mom's version. Highly recommend this! I also tried a fantastic Chardonnay, mom tried a Riesling and friend tried one of their Blackberry Farms beers on tap. They have an excellent wine and beer selection featuring several local options, like Blackberry Farms and Blackhorse Pub. We even came back the next night for dinner! My dad had the nachos, which are delicious. They're topped with their beer cheese which has just enough spice. They have 5 slider options, and I made a combo with 3 of them - one with Brie, BBQ and Benton's bacon, one with goat cheese, tomato jam, arugula and bacon and one with jalapeño pimento cheese and BBQ. The pimento cheese was my favorite! It's so spicy and delicious. Overall, I think they have a great menu to compliment the many beer and wine options! When we entered it looks like the manager and the bartender have been arguing about something and there was no friendliness at all. Just very blunt and short. We ordered the nachos. They are kettle chips with ground beef their beer cheese and salsa. The salsa also was straight out of a can squeeze on it and the kettle chips couldn't have been more than a handful. Not worth the price. I'm not sure about the rest of their menu because I didn't try it, but those nachos are not worth the price. I feel like this place has a lot of potential if the staff were a bit more friendlier. I believe their cook came in late because the conversation they had. The manager was obviously frustrated with him and also did not communicate as we walked out. We were the only people there. I probably won't be back. I really like this place and I hope it succeeds. It's a cool wine and beer spot in Farragut, and pretty new. I went for a team outing and it was pretty fun. This place doesn't have a private room, but it's great for groups. I didn't have wine, but the list looked impressive. The draft beer menu was also pretty on point and more in my lane. They had a great selection of drafts from across the country and I liked each one on my flight. The Sweaty Betty, Curious Traveler, and Highland Cold Mountain were favorites. They also had a selection of seasonal and high gravity beer. For those that aren't as adventurous or beer snobs you can count on the standard domestics and imports in bottles. As I was leaving around 5:30 the local crowd seemed to be filing in. This place is too far from my normal hangouts, but for those in and close to Farragut it's great. There are also small appetizers too that are good, but nothing fancy. I will say, if you order the chips and salsa you'll get an unusual heavy salsa to chip ratio. read more

The downside is that there seems to be quite a bit of server turnover, which seems to result in confusion and delays in getting your food and drink in a timely fashion, especially when there is a crowd. I had a wonderful grilled cheese panini here on Fri. night when we came to hear Whiskey & Wood (excellent). We had very good service by Justin, though I did think $8.75 was too much for a glass of the house red. Today, I took my parents here for Father's Day & ordered another grilled cheese panini. What a disappointment! Dry. Very little cheese (yellow only), which was also dry (see photo), and a tiny bit of bacon. One person (Elizabeth) was running the whole place herself & when I told her about the sandwich & showed her, she said she was sorry & did the best she good. She said there was a chef on Fri., but today she made it. No offer of refund or anything. Fri.'s panini was moist, had at least 2 kinds of gooey cheese (yellow & white) & a generous amount of bacon. I took this one home to my dog & even he didn't like it. It seems they need to train the staff about how to cook (or have a recipe) if they are going to cook. Four of us arrived ~5:15 Friday night. Place was pretty busy. I heard the waitress tell one customer,"I'm the only one here." She was wrong. There was a bartender although I saw our waitress Mykie pouring drafts many times. Bartender in the kitchen preparing our paninis? The turkey,apple & brie panini is wonderful! I deviate. This poor waitress had to serve 6 or more parties = ~ 20 people. We had excellent service. She was extremely efficient. She was always on the move. I mention this because the owner arrived ~ 5:40 - walked around slowly - straightened 2 chairs - wiped one table then hung out with 3 of her friends (employees?) while Mykie was scurrying around. I stopped Mykie and told her the place would probably close if it wasn't for her. She later told me she appreciated the feedback. What Is Wrong with the owner and 3 others not jumping in to help? We left ~ 6:30 to see four of these people just hanging out. We made sure to be in sight of the bar because one night we were in a corner (out of sight of the bar) and received extremely poor service - not Mykie. I figured our waitress was flirting with a guy at the bar. I had to go to the bar twice to get service. We will return for their great paninis. We WILL be seated so we have a view of the bar. read more
