Petco was absolutely HORRIBLE! I would NOT recommend anyone to take their dog there. I have had…read morenoting but aggravation with this store. First they advertise you do NOT need to get an appointment for just nail trims. So I only need nail trims for my dog. They were good at first but as the staff changed and it changes constantly, they kept telling me I need an appointment. I talked to the manager a few times and she said they were telling me incorrectly and to let her know. The next three times they were giving me trouble and had an attitude which then made me get angry as well. I kept telling them he is a bit skiddish with other dogs that bark at him as he is a rescue and they did not know how to handle him like the previous staff which were good. One particular staff (which her apparence probably scared the dog) was not good with him. She cut the nail too close and never told me that and never told the staff either. She blamed it on my dog because he "nipped" her. She was not honest with the situation and they sided with her. I complained to them about this and they also blamed my dog. This is after the previous staff told me he was a very good dog. After that I had more issues with this particular staff and they just didn't want to service me. I was arguing with them this last time and they cancelled my appointment which they did before. I called corporate to complain and asked for my money back. I will NEVER go back there as they do NOT know how to handle certain dogs. My recommendation would be to avoid this store at ALL costs!

NOT WORTH A SINGLE STAR- Very disappointed. Went to get my dogs nails trimmed and got conned into a…read morebath for a few bucks more, it ended up being $83.00. Then got told I could sign up for petcare for $24.99 and I could save on the bath, food and more. So, I signed up for it, but was not told it was subscription of $24.99 per moth plus tax. So I canceled the subscription, but they kept the $26.99 and did not return even though I was told on the phone they would... I felt like I was at a used car lot and I was non-stop being sold on something I did not need... To top it off they had the audacity to ask for a 15% tip when we finally got to pick up our dog... And the parking lot is the worst, DO NOT GO THERE!!! Or any PET CO.

Since 1999, we have taken our 2 Australian shepherds to this kennel for grooming (not boarding)…read more The staff are friendly and accommodating. The groomer shows her beagles at dog shows across the country, including Eukanuba & Westminster. She is very savvy at how to groom many different breeds. We take our dog there every 1 to 2 months, based on time of year. If ever there is an issue, it is easy to discuss & resolve the issue with the groomer. Her grooming place is clean and does not smell foul, as the previous reviewer stated in 2012. The floors of the boarding kennel have hot water heating. We choose to not board our dogs anywhere. They are a core part of our family and go with us or else we hire someone to stay with them/check in on them if we need to be away. Thru the years, we have learned how much skill, patience and physical effort/labor is involved in grooming a dog. We highly value this groomer, her skills & personalty & would never go anywhere else. Also, if you message Mary, she normally replies within 24 hours. We cannot say enough positives about this groomer! Her other forte is training dogs & their parents, via AKC-based curriculum. With our previous aussie, Sir Bentley, we did a series of 7 Canine Good Citizen Classes, which served us well, all of Bentley's life and into our next 2 aussies' lives.

When picking our dogs up the next day, we noticed they were completely covered with a very strong, disgustingly foul odor. The dogs were bathed immediately at home, and the water in the bath tub after was 10X dirtier than any we've ever had before. I would not recommend this dirt hole to anyone. I will never take a pet to this place again, not even a skunk!!!

One bag of small treats lasted nearly through March. She's small and got one half to one whole treat per day. It was comparable in size to a small milk bone and easy to break. The larger dogs, of course, ate the treats faster. My one star off was because I haven't been able to find them in other stores. Where do I find these? Just online? Boo!

We obtain our spent grain from breweries all over NY & PA and create delicious treats for your fur babies! Think of it as an awesome way to help the environment, spoil your pooch, and feel good about doing both. Cheers! Spent grain is a byproduct of the beer brewing process. During the brewing process, sugars are extracted from grain. The "spent" grain is then skimmed out and typically thrown away. But wait - spent grain still has a lot of nutritional value. Spent barley, used in the beer brewing process, is a concentrated source of nutrition, high in vitamins (particularly niacin and thiamin), high in fiber and protein, yet very low in fat. We make our treats by hand, in small batches, using only simple ingredients including fresh barley and local farm fresh eggs. Our treats contain no soy, hops or preservatives.
