Rating a 2 stars because of their customer service. I made an appt with Chloe online for a day where they had a special deal and walkins were encouraged. (My appt was for 6 or 7pm I believe). When I walked in a bunch of people were there who I'm guessing were walkins. I told the guy I had an appt at the time i got there and he put me in line behind the walk-ins. this would've been okay if there was like one or two people in front of me but no there were five!! I decided to stay for 30 minutes past my appt time to see if I'd be able to get in quick, but she wasn't even done with the first person, so I decided to leave. My friend, who was a walk in and was one spot in front of me, didn't get her tattoo until like 11pm at night which is crazy because it was a mini tattoo deal. Point is, I had an appt but was still put in line behind walk-ins. Luckily I did not pay a deposit or anything, phew. Will not be going back This is not a post regarding their work. read more

I went here on Monday with a friend to get piercings and let me first start off by saying I was really really nervous because I have never had a professional piercing done before. At a glance, the place is really sterile and clean and small but home-y. My friend and I were greeted almost right away and when we told them what we wanted the guy got the piercer right away. We then filled out consent forms each and waited for the guy (never got a name) to get everything ready. My friend ended up going first and I went second. The guy opened everything, i.e needles, clamps, jewelry, so everything was sterile and he changed his gloves often as well. Each piercing I got went pretty painlessly and efficiently. The guy was nice and made casual conversation. Definitely felt comfortable and more relaxed after awhile. Would definitely come back here if I ever wanted another piercing! read more

Went here to get ear piercing done, worse first experience ever. Walked in with my service dog and the first thing that was said to me was "We can't have dogs in here." One I wouldn't bring a normal dog into places with me second she was clearly labeled with her service dog vest. Are people really this ignorant? I said I'm sorry but she's a service dog and proceeded to take a seat in the waiting area but seconds after once again "We can't have dogs in here" was stated. For the second time I stated she's a service dog but this time was told I wouldn't receive any service and pointed out that it is quite illegal to refuse service to me or any other registered service dog handler. Not to mention I waited hours for their piercer to arrive and was told many lies. Don't plan to go back. read more

Went in with a friend the other day and we were difficult because we couldn't find a good spot for our tattoo but the artist was cool and patient with my friend it was a small tattoo but it came it good all in all. I Would recommend this place the price is a little high but you pay for what you get. read more

When it comes to piercings at Special D Ink, I really trust their piercer Jesus! He is sweet, nice, very sterile and has experience. He did both of my tragus piercings and they healed perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars is because I recently got my septum done here, by someone who wasn't jesus, and I was definitely not pleased about it. He had a really stale attitude and wasn't too friendly, but the worst part was that he pierced my septum in the wrong place. Now, this was my second time getting this piercing, and even the first time it was in the wrong place. I was really hoping to have it done correctly this second time, but I was let down. 3rd times the charm I guess, but I definitely will be going to a different piercing parlor. read more

Went last night at 11:30p for a piercing and the place was locked up and dark even though hours are posted open until midnight. Called this morning to find out when piercer would be there and was told 4:00p. Showed up at 4:30p and was then told he wouldn't be there until 6:00p. Left and went back at 9:30p tonight and again the place was dark and locked up with no one there. Tired of wasting my gas and time. Will definitely find somewhere more professional to go. read more
