This body shop has my Lexus and they are not good at customer service or communication. First off when they received my car I had to call in and ask where my car was. THEY said they did not have my car!!! It took them a whole day to realize they do have my Lexus. Then I waited a week to call them back and then they said oh we have not started on the car and someone would call me. I waited 3 more days and then called and they said the insurance company have approved the work and they were JUST starting on the car. Then I waited another week and called them and they tell me they had to send my car to another shop so they could take the hard top off my car. I waited another week and the other shop still has the car taking the top off the car. THIS has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. I still have NEVER been called by this body shop and I have had to reach out every time. This is not how you treat people. I love love my car and have never been treated so poorly. I was told over and over that someone would reach out to me and NO one has. Also the kicker is that my uncle owns clear view auto glass and he told he he is good friends with the owner of special interest auto. I reached out to my uncle Emery Smith to see if he could speak with the owner of this body shop and see why I am being treated so poorly. I run a business and customer service is our #1. I want my Lexus back and I want something for the way I was treated. I have no idea what the hold up is on my car and I want it back from this shop. They received my car on July 19th and it is August 13th and they still have not even been able to give me a full assessment of what the cost and full fixes will be on my car. I am very confused WHY it will take almost a full month JUST to figure out how to fix my car. I am so frustrated I have turned to this form of complaining. NOW here is what should be done. I want SOMETHING from the body shop. I want a check written to me and not the insurance company for the stress this has put on me. I want a phone call from the body shop like I have asked for every time I have to call in. I want you to treat your costumers with kindness and care as you have peoples cars that they LOVE very much. You need to not loss peoples cars. You need to move your employees top get the job completed in a timely manner NOT almost one month to even start working on my car. I want my car back asap completely fix in perfect condition before it was damaged. Do not rush on my car because you have been slow that is not my fault it is your fault so fix my car right and give it back to me. I am so so frustrated. I am also writing the insurance company that recommended this body shop and I am writing a BBB complete. I am also going to the attorney general. I took my car here after someone had run into it. I had set up my appointment and rental with Geico which was easy to do. The day I dropped my car off, they had me sign some documents, then I picked up my rental car, and was told I'd get a call later in the day with the estimated time it would take to get my car repaired. No time was wasted. Three days later, I pick up my car and found that it had been detailed. What a nice surprise! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

These guys have real integrity! My guess is they give the best customer service in town for an auto body shop. All the staff goes out of their way to help and be informative. They do great work in a timely manner and at a fair price. Unfortunately my car has had a string of bad luck and I've used them for 3 separate jobs and ALL were done to perfection. This shop was recommended to me by Klein Honda where I bought my 2015 Accord. I've taken my car to this shop on two occasions now and I must say they are top notch. The customer service couldn't have been better. When I brought my car in for an estimate they were short staffed yet still made time to look at my car and provide a quote in a timely manner. So far they've had to replace my bumper as well as my side mirror. They used all OEM parts and the car looked good as when they were finished. My car got hit and special interest fixed it up like new! They returned the car to me (not only perfectly fixed) but way cleaner than I left it! They went above and beyond in work and also getting me the genuine parts I wanted. I felt like they cared that I got my car fixed how I wanted it, and were prepared to handle the insurance company on my behalf, but there didn't end up being any issues and it all went really smooth. They recently fixed our Dodge Dakota. The work on the truck is flawless and comes with a warranty. They vacuumed and washed the truck which was awesome! They worked well with the insurance company even though they were not a "preferred provider". The repairs were done in the time they estimated. The original quote was given in a timely manner. When I went to pick up the vehicle I did stand around a bit to be acknowledged, but we all get busy especially at the end of the day. The only thing that would have been better is if I had received status updates on the repair, such as a confirmation that the repairs were anticipated to be complete on time. Over all I would recommend and would use them again. read more

Awful experience. They did a extremely poor job on my car. More importantly, the folks at the counter seem to think it's all a joke. I guess since they do so many insurance jobs, they don't need to really care about the quality of their work. They did repair the car properly on the second attempt, however the attitude was almost worse than the initial repair work. I would not recommend this shop. read more

I highly recommend this shop. They did great work and were realistic about repair time. Additionally, when I got home I noticed that the windshield had a bunch of fine scratches on the side of the repair, like something abrasive was wiped on the glass. I was sure they would say they didn't cause it. But they didn't. After trying unsuccessfully to buff them out, they replaced the windshield. Things happen and people make mistakes, it's how you handle them that matters to me. I hope I never need their services again but I wouldn't hesitate to come back. read more

My vehicle was rear ended so I needed to find an auto body shop. My insurance agent suggested Special Interest. When I got there I realized I had used this shop once over 16 years ago but only vaguely remembered the experience. When I arrived the owner greeted me and we discussed the issue. They have a Geico adjuster on site which was handy due to the insured persons provider was Geico. So the owner showed me around and explained their process, nice touch. Long story short not only did they repair the damage from the accident, they fixed some additional scratches on the other side of the bumper. Outstanding service. They turned my horrible situation into an amazing experience. A nice young lady backed into me and put a pretty good sized dent in my new truck. Geico told me to go to Special Interest. When I arrived they had a young lady from Geico and Enterprise there to help with the process. I was in and out in 15 minutes. They sent me text message updates while my truck was in the shop and when my truck was finished it was just as easy to pick it up. And as a bonus they detailed my truck as well. Alright where to start?! This place is amazing!! I got hit by an old person on my new 14 Hyundai Elantra, first car i have bought on my own. I was so mad. insurance sent me to special interest auto body and i was not too thrilled. But i walked in and was immediately greeted. Not sure by who unfortunately. But they were so helpful and letting me know what was going to happen and what i needed to do and what not so i left with no questions and a lot more trust. I wont lie that night i drove by to see where they put my car and it was under cover in a gated spot which made me feel super comfortable about my baby. When i came to get it i was on lunch so i didn't have much time and they looked busy but i was in and out with my car less than 15 minutes which was amazing. The next day they called me saying i had a part that they need to put one more piece on that came in. so i told them i would come in the next day. well... two weeks later i remembered about it. so i gave them a call and talked to JOHN. He was a spit fire!! great customer service! He told me it was no problem and asked if i could bring it down and unfortunately i got off the time and the time they close and john said "don't worry about it i can wait here for you since you work down the road" super happy right? got there and he said don't worry about coming for your car we can just drop it off at your work. i was extremely happy at this point. Special Interest Auto Body did an excellent job repairing my 2015 Challenger. They have excellent customer service, an Enterprise Rental desk in their office and worked with my insurance company. I couldn't be happier. Well, I would be if the insurance company for the Canadian truck driver that bumped my car would assume responsibility so I could get my deductible returned to me.
