He was friendly overall and showed me all the parts he carried in his van. It turns out that those marks don't even accurately show how the pipes are routed. They charged me $450 to show the endpoint of a pipe that was leaking which as shown in the photos they said it end to the kitchen island five feets away. However, the plumber had to run the tape to find the end point at opposite side of the house which was not even in his markings. He charged me $650 extra because he had to cut each pipe at the manifold to see which one is the right one. I am wondering why are we even doing this kind of leak detection since running the tape into the pipe is the only concrete way to find the end of leaky pipe and the plumber charged for that service anyways. I can't justfying $450 I paid for a merely a guess work so my loss is your win take my advise and don't do it.
