For my recent project (replacement of the whole roof tiles and partial gutters), the crews were pleasant to work with. First, Flavio came by and gave a detailed inspection and recommendations. I have an attached garage with stairs and a "deck" on top. The "deck" was just flat-rolled roofing material with wood underneath, and it had been leaking into the garage for many years. The wood underneath was also rotting, and it had become dangerous to walk on. I hired Specialist Roofing & Repair to rip out the old roofing, replace all the wood, and install a new decking system. It was hard to find a roofing company that was comfortable and qualified to install a decking system and to deal with the rotting stairs leading up to the deck. Several roofers were not willing to do it. I finally found Specialist. They seemed very knowledgeable, and their quote was competitive. They were also willing to start work within one week. They did a GREAT job! The new decking system looks great and feels solid. They re-constructed the stairs perfectly and painted everything to match the existing structure. It hasn't rained yet, but from what I can tell, it seems solid and won't leak. I also asked them to install it with a slight slope so water would move toward an existing drain in one side. They did a perfect job of sloping it. They were easy to work with and trustworthy. The foreman called with updates each day, and they sent me a photo gallery as soon as the job was done. Roof Repair came to my house this past Monday Feb 3, 25 and did a great job fixing my roof after the very high winds a few weeks ago. All the workmen were courteous and very neat. At the end of the job there was nothing to clean up and they used a magnet to make sure no tacks or nails or whatever are left behind. Roof Repair Specialist did a much larger job last year and the experience was excellent from beginning to end. The estimate was also really good. Very detailed and came with photos. They also replaced two skylights as well. They are a legit business with a scheduling coordinator and billing department. You can always get someone on the phone and they have a good response time. They delivered what they promised. My house is in Mar Vista -SoCal. The only thing I can find fault with is they missed a cracked chimney last year and I had to have them come back and fix that as well. read more

Since we're in the rainy season, however, they did come out and install some tarps to keep the water out temporarily. Catherine Grande was my organizer and did an amazing job for me! The guys turned up on time and fixed fascia boards that were dry rotted and also did general maintenance and sealing in my roof. After the first phase of the work was complete I had a small issue regarding a missed piece of the work and Catherine handled it for me right away so that the guys would address this on their return work day at no additional cost. The gutters I had installed look amazing on my home. I'm so thankful to have had Catherine on my side to ensure all the work was done as per the contract and I'm only taking off one star because I wish there had not been confusion about the details of the work in the first place as the initial estimator Aram attempted to charge me $300 extra for work that fell under the original contract. Overall, the services were great, and the customer service from the main office and production team was fantastic, and would have given 4.5 stars if that was an option. I hired RRS for some gutter repair and roof tile replacement work. Initial Quote: The sales person that came out for the quote was helpful but perhaps there were communication issues and I felt that certain concerns/questions I had were brushed off. RRS also has a minimum fee requirement and I appreciated that they were willing to provide both the gutter repair and roof tile replacement as part of one package. There was a bit of delay and confusion re: scheduling for actual service and I was asked to measure my downspout and send pictures - which seems to be something that the sales person should have handled. The roof tile that was later provided on the day of service was also wrong, which further delayed completion. I had to call quite a few times to get the initial service scheduled. Production: The guys that came to work on the gutters/downspout and the roof tiles were quick and made sure everything was tidy. This was all great.
