Great selection and decent price too. Staff was very helpful and knowing it's a new store I was pleasantly impressed.

There's a BBQ restaurant attached and great variety of prepared foods. Prices are reasonable too. I spent way more time in here than intended due to the large selection of items.

As soon as he saw I was approaching the counter with my daughter he went behind the wall and didn't come back for like 10 minutes. It got to the point I went to ask for help from another employee because I felt like that was kind of weird. The seafood counter closes at 7, so I would think he would actively be working the last hour. When I received help from another employee, so kind by the way as they normally are at this location, the man at the seafood counter finally came around the wall but like not happy at all. It was an uncomfortable interaction and I get everyone has their days. So I asked for 4 clusters of snow crab to be steamed and he stated the steamer was broke... Now HEB PLEASE don't turn into kroger! This was a hack that became popular due to tik tok but it sucks to know you found something that you like but then it depends on if their steamer is working properly. With the location of this store, how much business it receives and it being the first and most popular location in Frisco, you should make sure everything in your store is up to date and working efficiently. But also the attitude behind it was almost like he was happy he didn't have to do it. So I did speak to the manager and she let me know there are 2 other locations which I was aware of and happily would have went to but because of the wait at the seafood counter we were not able to do that. Please make sure your equipment is working properly but also that all of your employees are happy and proud to work for your company.

We started with the milk and honey bread with their jam. We got the filet ( which was delicious ) and our friends got the bass and prime rib which they also said was amazing. We both got the bread pudding for dessert which I thought was pretty good but our friends weren't the biggest fans of . Regardless, our waitress was a sweetheart and super accommodating. Overall, would absolutely come back!

They also boast all the ingredients being locally sourced, which is also a fun concept. Note that parking can be limited, and you may need to park along the roads alongside. Our waitress was kind and welcoming for Mother's Day. We tried the chicken & spaetzel for my mom and the 1843 filet for myself. My steak was cooked well, I just wish it had been a bit more flavorful. My mom really liked her dish and I did as well. The chicken in particular was lovely. It did take us over 45 min to receive our food, but I attribute that to the busy holiday. The choco pie was huge and worth the amount I paid for it. The crust was prone to falling apart though so be prepared to make a mess! Speaking on my memories from 2 years ago, I'd gotten chicken piccata which had a sauce similar to the spaetzel. It was much better this time around, and didn't have red pepper, which I strongly dislike. The concept was very similar. At the time, my partner had gotten a meat pie of some kind that he still raves about. This was winter 2024, so not the same menu. Overall, it's a cute place and a cute concept. Note that A) this is not the place for someone picky, as the dishes are a bit experimental, and B) the prices are a bit above average. More of a special occasion type of place. Make sure you make a reservation!
