    Hot & Honey Razz Wings
    Mike S.

These wings were different yet tasty! The beer was cold and had many craft options. Would definitely have the wings again if in the area. Right amount of heat and sweetness on each bite! Mostly bar food but it had a nice crowd at Happy Hour on a Monday.

We came for the wings and beer... lip smackin good (seriously tho... try that flavor). Our waitress was new and didn't know much about the draft beer, but the service was great and the food came out right on time. This is a place you can bring your family or friends and enjoy some brews and good eats.

I'm rating Spectators 4.5 tonight. Everything was delicious. Food was hot, best fried bar food you can find and quickly prepared, The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. More healthy choices would give it a 5*. Great local pub and really nice when a band is playing in back like this Sunday. Thanks for the great food & service!

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. We always get the wings as they have over 50 wing sauces. They have a nice friendly bar atmosphere and plenty of seating for the family. A great local hang out and crowd. The staff is awesome and the food is always excellent. Sunday is the place to be to watch sports as they have over 15 TVs.

Quick in, quick out impromptu lunch. The Saturday before…read moreMother's Day we also spent with Mom. And while driving around decided to stop for lunch on the Kutztown side of town. We stopped at Ozgood's, it was about 12:30pm. It was surprisingly busy for the rainy day & thoughts of those out for celebrations tomorrow. We waited in the corridor for about 10 minutes while two large parties were seated. Then we were sat in a back booth. We did not have a reservation. We were hungry and ordered fairly quickly. For how busy they were we only waited about 20 minutes for food. Our server was nice, quiet but attentive. Never felt like we weren't being checked on. All together- I had the Habanero Bacon Jam Scallops, Mom had the Ozgood's Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, my Hubby ordered the Pot Roast Grilled Cheese with Fries. Hits and Misses in the food. The bacon jam was gooey, without that punch of pepper or bacon as hoped for. And the scallops needed 30 more seconds on the heat. I like raw scallop, so didn't mind it. But for a normal patron's palate these would have been undercooked. Also these were not super fresh. My husband pot roast sandwich was good. The banana peppers gave it pizazz, as well the gravy for the fries- nice touch for a dip. My Mom's burger was ok. And sweet potato fries tasted out of the box. One surprise was this cocktail! Mom and I shared and both loved it!! I did not catch the name- but it had gin and blueberry syrup. Now I need to find blueberry syrup for a cocktail. This was refreshing, punchy and sweet. Upping this review to a 4-star for the quick service and cocktail. Ozgood's has been around for a long time and makes sense why. It's solid, not standout. But worth a visit.

We found this place because I was looking for somewhere I could get a beer and walk out and around the town of Jim Thorpe (I believe they allow it here). But ended up staying for the vibes and plus we were super hungry. I wish I remembered our waitresses name but I believe she had pink in her hair. She allowed me and my girlfriend to sample some beers that she thought we would like because we were hesitant and what to order. We got the sangria sour beer and the white ale which were perfect for us. We also saw online that everyone loved the smash burger so we had to try it. We added truffle fries for 3 dollars which was so worth it. Some of the best fries we have ever had. Also I think we decided it was the best smash burger we have ever had. We both have never tried bacon jam and we were a bit hesitant about the pimento cheese as well. I think my favorite moment from this trip was sitting at the bar here and eating this meal. Plus the burger lived up to the hype. Thank you to the waitress we had you made our day!

The portions were large and reasonably priced, and tasted very fresh and flavorful. The menu provides multiple options and a nice variety of which will certainly make you want to come back to try something new and different. My one daughter loved the pizza which was made with care and consideration for her allergies. It was larger than she expected and she was able to take half home for another satisfying meal. My other daughter stated she semi-enjoyed the shepherds pie, which had large chunks of beef in it. She liked the texture but felt that the gravy was a bit too much/something was off. She did state she preferred the shepherds pie she got from Hershey Harvest better, but this was still good. I loved my crab cake, broccoli, and onion rings. I thought the food was excellently prepared and flavorful. My only complaint was I got too full and couldn't eat it all. I would certainly order it again. The atmosphere is casual and has an average noise level. I appreciate the spacious dining area which gives ample room for guests to not feel rushed or claustrophobic. It was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was also clean, well maintained, and well stocked. My plan is to certainly return in the future and try some other items on the menu. (There were quite a number of items which caught our eyes and made it difficult to choose.)

What I got was not even anywhere close to medium rare. It was very overcooked and very well done. The server was apologetic. I said it was "fine". Not her fault.
