Hands down Spectrum is the best and most honest car/truck/suv repair shop I have ever come across, I lost faith that places like this existed.. i hate always being upsold (Sun Devil Auto) when all iI needed was a fast oil change. I have had 3 different vehicals serviced by them and everytime either of my vehicals go in for repair or for the normal preventative maintenance, Spectrum auto go above and beyond to make sure the issue is fixed. For example: my O2 sensor went out, needed to do emissions asap.. they repaired the sensor and took the car thru emissions to verify it did pass, and the issue was fixed. Another example: They don't upsell you on parts.. Spike is a hell of a guy, he is happy to work with you, and is just a over all good person, his knowledge is vast and you can call him anytime for car questions. (example my lancer turbo install project, and when he did my FJ rear suspension) he will reimburse parts not used.. example: took my FJ out 4x4ing got a little crazy, the front casing seal split away on the engine/pan, and.. yep...started leaking oil.. the seals and gaskets in the kit that weren't needed were reimbursed dollar-for-dollar, because it was an expansive job, I shopped around (sun devil, fletcher, cobblestone, and so on.. they did the best job and still beat every auto shops price in the area. I am so happy with Spectrum Car Care ....and they haven't even finished working on my car! From the very start I was able to text Michael (which is so much easier for me than calling) ...about all my problems and he was SO super helpful. He explained so clearly what needed to be done and what might happen with insurance etc. He even gave me the number of an awesome Towing Company (Camel of Queen Creek) who was equally as awesome and super fast at getting my car over to Spectrum. And THEN when I was super panicked because I was unable to make it to meet the Towing Company to pay them, Michael told me that they would pick it up for me and I could pay them later! I'm completely relieved and so grateful to have found this place. The 5 Stars are a result of A+ management, communication,friendliness and efficiency! Many years and many miles, Spectrum Car Care is the best mechanic I've found. I've been ripped off by mechanics just up Val Vista who do incorrect installs, sub par unwarrantied parts, and charged a great deal by "national brands". Spectrum has shown me that good mechanics exist. They've corrected the other comapny's installs, and when parts come due they always provide the options and best price bar NONE. I can't over emphasize that this is the place to bring your vehicle, they're get it fixed for an honest price and if there is something that can be done to better serve you they will let you know. After two years it's the same faces, the same people and they will get to know you and your vehicle, not merely a fly by night person turning wrench for a few months. I called at least 4-5 places to get a quote for rear shocks for my Tacoma. Some said they would supply a quote and didn't even bother to call me back. Big O Tires gave me a quote for $100 more than what I paid for the wonderful service I got here at Spectrum. In one day, they helped me measure my shocks (so I did not have to make an extra trip so they could see them), they ordered the new shocks for me and got me in the next day! They were so attentive and professional. Gave me a ride home while I waited for them to install the shocks and filled my brake fluid which was low. Had my Ford Escape serviced Sept.23rd. Mike and Zane, on his tech team, were able to quickly spot my coolant bypass hose needed urgent replacement. A few more miles or days in 100F+ weather could have caused serious damage and very costly repairs. I got a very thorough inspection report with digital pictures of the damaged hose and other areas of concern. In addition to the mechanical repairs and oil change, I came in with a hanging tailpipe from backing into an unseen boulder. They were able to successfully reattach it averting a full exhaust system replacement. I left beyond 100% satisfied, I got peace of mind knowing my car is good for many more miles in the desert. read more

We were more than pleased with the professionalism, fairness, courtesy, honesty, and friendliness of the staff. We thought we were having exhaust leak issues, and they quickly discovered that it was not the exhaust, and corrected the problem that they did find quickly and as reported by the mechanic. I'm glad I found Spectrum Car Care! I used Spectrum Car Care for the first time Saturday, June 2, 2018 and was pleased and impressed with the service. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Got there about 8:30 and my car was done and I was on my way in about 30 minutes. At the dealer, even with an appointment it was often at least 90 or more minutes for the same service. Service Requested: Valve Cover Gasket Replacement on 2016 Kia Sorento This shop was amazing! I had a burning smell coming from my hood and needed my valve cover gasket replaced. My primary/regular shop quoted an outrageous amount to have it fixed but Spectrum quoted half of that amount. Their prices are unbeatable and the service was beyond great. I brought my car in with a bad fuel pump and they went through 5 different ones trying to find one that fit my car (my car is rare) and even went as far as to have parts shipped and reach out to a local dealer.
