Corporate abusers. I don't blame the customer service people. They were pleasant enough, but the corporate policies are predatory and designed to maximize profit while abusing the customer. I was charged for my internet "subscription" after I switched to Breezeline and cancelled and received confirmation over the phone in Dec. 2025. I noticed an intent to auto-bill me on March 1, 2026, and realized they had never cancelled my internet account. I was able finally to get to a "customer solutions" specialist, Scott, in San Antonio, Texas,who did a good job escalating the case, but this should never be a policy they hold officially as a company. Once, someone stops using your service, or disconnects, you should either be forced to notify them or stop charging. read more

I've been on Spectrum for YEARS and just made the switch from cable to streaming. The new service is much cheaper, BUT they will not apply the new rate until the next billing cycle. I have 2/3 of a cycle left and they will not issue me a credit for that time frame that I am under the new service. read more

The worst ISP I've ever had the displeasure of interfacing with. Moved to a new state, chose them for fiber - got .0.5megabits down without some remote reboot. Then my brand new account was flagged for fraud based on my rental address that they demanded my social security number to resolve. Stay far, far away from Charter Spectrum. Spectrum is quite literally the worst internet provider I've ever had. The service never works, and their "slower" internet during congested times just plain doesn't work. The internet is so bad I will NEVER consider buying it again. This is NOT an internet provider you want to use. My house is a dead zone for my phones cellular data, but that still manages to work better than spectrum internet ever does. I once tried to get the internet to work (unsuccessfully) for an HOUR. I also recently replaced my router in hopes it would fix it, and it definitely didn't do anything. It was a scam and a waste of money. I've had nonstop internet problems with Spectrum for over two years, all due to a known issue with the node that services my area. The technicians who come out always acknowledge it's the node, not anything in my house--but customer service never does. They act like every call is a new issue and refuse to escalate anything until a technician comes out first. This means I'm constantly forced to schedule technician appointments, even though the root of the problem is outside my home. While the techs do show up (credit where it's due), I've had to take time off or rearrange my schedule countless times just to let someone in for a problem that's clearly on Spectrum's end. Meanwhile, customer service is no help at all--uninformed, unhelpful, and often rude. It's incredibly frustrating to be stuck in this loop with no resolution, just the same excuses over and over. If you have any other option for internet, take it. Spectrum has been a huge waste of time and money. read more

Spectrum mobile is absolutely disgraceful customer service . They have lost my mobile and I contacted them to ask why they have still billed me for a phone that is lost in transit to me . The answer from customer service is that as I signed their terms that they would start billing after 7 days irrespective of whether I received the phone they had every right to bill me . My brother who is disabled recently came home from the hospital and had bills in his mailbox. I knew he couldn't pay them so I offered to help. I brought his Spectrum bill home with me and called them and tried to just pay it over the phone with my credit card. This was a huge deal for them they absolutely wouldn't allow it since I'm not on the account. I asked to speak to a manager and a woman named Kecia came to the phone. She was just as ridiculous as the first person and very rude. Every time I tried to talk she would talk over me. It was a horrible experience. I would not recommend them. read more

Most people already know Spectrum Cable is a ripoff; but I want to add one problem: they automatically add expensive services to your account without your permission. After trying to get an itemized version of my bill, I found that they added Disney-plus and Paramount to my account; I did a Chat to ask why, only to be told that it was "added through the app." They deleted the extra $6 for this month, but would not delete it for three previous months. I suggest people take a hard look at their itemized bill. We are cutting the cord very soon, and have apparently been paying for services we did not request. Ive called multiple times and every time I've been given the run around about how someone will be out shortly to take care of it. They sent me a bad phone. I'm paying 13000 and it don't hold the charge. They said they can't help me the only thing I can do is get a hold of samsung because samsung sold them a defective phone and they sold it to me. Samsung said I would have to send it back to them for them to try and fix it, and that I would be with out a phone for 5-7 weeks. Go to Verizon... I was with them first, and when I had a problem with my phone they sent me another one, and when I got it then I sent my messed up one back... I did not have to go without a phone.. This is not for this store, but for spectrum as a company. Their rates suck and they only give you "deals" if you bundle and that only applies for a short period. If you decided to leave their service you get sent, what feels like daily, mail advertisements to try to incentivize you to come back. I just called a phone rep to ask them to remove me from their mail and they proceeded to tell me there isn't one and that they just mail everyone in the area. How the hell is EPA not all over them from the amount of paper they are wasting??? Not only did this rep lie, because there is a way to request to be removed from their mailing list, but they also just illuded to a rediculous amount of paper being sent out by this company all in the name of advertising. At termination of services, Spectrum charged for the next 30 day billing cycle when the service was terminated on the 4th day of the cycle. Gives the sensation of fraud by billing for services not provided. In addition, my company received conflicting responses from Spectrum personnel involved in the termination process. read more

Near the beginning of the pandemic I needed to exchange some equipment and went to the location at Gowdy Field between Grandview and Italian Village. I guess it's closed or it's no longer allowing customers into the building. Saturday found me troubleshooting an error on my DVR and after unplugging it and plugging it back in, it had no power. So I called customer service and they gave me the option of having a new DVR sent to me via mail which would be at least 3 days or making me a reservation at a store. Naturally, my preferred store didn't come up in the listing and my choices were this one in Italian Village/Short North, Easton, and Worthington. I chose this one because it was the closest. Of course, I was running late for my 11:20am appointment. I found metered parking available in front (it takes coins, card, or can be paid via an app) which was a score! One person was already being helped and when I was beginning the sign-in process at the front tablet, another employee walked towards me and asked what I needed help with. I abandoned the check-in process and followed him to his register in the back portion of the store. There were no exact models of my DVR, which was less than 5 years old, so he checked the models available in the shelving units behind him to make sure one would work with my tv. I know it's unpopular to say you have a Sony Wega tv from the 90s with an hd projection tube but it's 200+ lbs, it works, has good picture quality still, so I'm only getting rid of it when it dies because I will need to hire piano movers or someone else to take it to a dump. lol The store was clean. Really empty since there were two people working; one in the front and one in the back. Lots of 6-feet distance markers on the ground, and when I left there were 4 people waiting to be helped. read more

Service was fine. Ran through the promotional period and they raised the price. I called about getting it lowered and was basically told, "too bad, that's the price". I got another provider and called to cancel. Got a "customer retention" person who told me I didn't know what I was getting from the other service and I should "read the fine print". Basically told me I was stupid. Good way to keep customers. BUT. Turns out he was right about reading fine print, except it applies to Spectrum. I cancelled the service 6 days into the new billing cycle. Reasonable person would think that they owe for six days service. No. FINE PRINT for Spectrum. Need a zero stars. Spectrum forced me to change my internet plan because "discontinued" but offered me a 49.99 all included wifi modem 300mbs plan for 12 months. Ok.... my plan has changed 3 times maybe more. I even am being charged for a wifi plan it clearly shows on my account, I don't have. My bill in under a year has raised by 20+ dollars . In addition they refused to upgrade my equipment which has been in my house over 10 years, closer to 15. Never increased speeds, changed my plan back to the plan I had 100mbs, and charged me 10 for advanced wifi service which my old outdated equipment isn't even capable of. I decided I'm not calling them, I am going to return the equipment and change provider. They are a very dishonest company which needs to be shut down. read more

Spectrum is worthless, I have multiple business internet accounts with them and their service goes down daily for hours so you cannot ring people out at the register. The worst part...they are the only provider in the area that services one of my stores. They told me to tell customers that someone may have hit a pole. (Imagine telling someone that for 3 months straight). The customer service reps are also notorious for assuming your gender and are not lgbtq+ friendly. Spectrum is an absolute joke! If you can go with anyone else I would. If you move and take your equipment with you like they tell you too then make sure you check your bill. They will try to charge you $59 And bill it to your old address. I have had issues from this to firewall being down to paying for a top service and getting less. when you call in they will keep you on the phone for 20 minutes trying to talk you into their cell service. was supposedly "locked" into a fixed rate for biz internet and phone. upgraded to the new I phone and was assured the only thing extra I would pay was the phone cost per month. next bill.......was completely booted off my "locked" rate and my bill jumped almost $60 extra a month for internet! Not dazzled so far. 1. I've had Spectrum Enterprise before it was even Spectrum, since 2008, fifteen years, but I still was hit with a "new account fee" for changing from an Enterprise internet account to a Personal one when I changed jobs. 2. Sitting here looking at my first bill for the "new account fee" and first month service, over $80 (internet only), which arrived after I had service for less than a week, and I've already had a four hour outage. 3. Service tech had to come out to solve a slow connection issue, which he did perfectly, but also pointed out I received the old style Arris modem, not the new equipment a new account should receive. Which makes number one even more aggravating, knowing it's just a sham fee, and not really offsetting the expense of the equipment. Needless to say, first good offer I find I'm probably going to end my 15 year run with Time Warner/Spectrum. read more

​Due to spectrum employee adding t.v. Cable without my consent. My 28.37 internet is now $55 and you guys won't let me change it back. Things that are your fault I shouldn't have to pay for. Just because I ask about something doesn't mean I want it. What's the point of customer service if my problem can't be fixed? I thought switching back over with you guys would be a different experience. But it seems to always be some hidden charges or changes. I have the $0 service that you guys are advertising in the mail. I'm not sure I've received any $30 credits. I was told my credit covered my late fee but when I called last week I was told if I pay by today I wouldn't have a late fee.
