My friend who is a gardener/landscaper told me to look for a hydroponics store, so we could find some starter trays since we had trouble finding it elsewhere. I had to look up incubator/propagator everywhere, and I think for Home Depot, they sell them in bulk and have to be ordered for pick-up in store. Anyway, we went to Walmart and the Dollar Tree, and I don't think they had it. This store has a little bit of everything from 99.9% alcohol, 30% vinegar, fertilizers, seeds, fans, dehumidifiers, pruners, etc. They also have Clonex in 1 qt, 1 gallon, and 5 gallons, as well as in mist form. It has a distinct smell, but the employee was friendly and chill. We have been using the supplies we got here to clone some plumbagos and coffee berry plants. The goal is to also try to clip some Mexican elderberries, too. There is a lot of moisture, though, so definitely make sure to vent properly. My friend got me some shears here, and I believe they are $7. I haven't used them yet, but I will update once I do, and hopefully we will be back because he said some of the stuff is decently priced. read more

I was looking for some net pots for some plants I'll be switching from soil to leca. I really avoid Amazon when I can so I try to support local businesses. Spectrum Hydro had what I needed & then some ! They had all the pots, & I picked up 5" & 3". Also picked up some foliage spray & a jug of calmag. The store has a lot & I am mad at myself for ordering foliage plus on Amazon, as these guys carry it ! Next time I'll buy it here. They sell a bag of fox farm for the lowest price - $12 if I remember right. That alone is worth the trip here ! I got a discount for my first visit & everyone was so pleasant to deal with. I drove there to purchase Fox Farms Potting Soil and was running a few minutes late. I called them to tell them what I wanted and I would arrive (per my Navi) 2 minutes after they closed. They were so nice! They waited for me, and when I got there they had my order ready to go. They also loaded it all in my trunk!!! What company could do anything better than them! Spectrum Hydro is my one stop shop for everything I need for my garden. The guys that work here have tons of experience and are super helpful when it comes to working out any problems I'm seeing in my garden. They have been generous and very helpful considering I'm sort of a beginner and hobby gardener. They've helped "talk me off a bridge" when I was ready to waste money on the wrong items and totally made my hobby much more enjoyable. I recommend stopping by if you need grow bags and fresh soil, any sort of hydro nutrient, lighting and even plumbing parts. On Tuesday and Fridays they even offer free compost tea brewed from in-house worm-bins. Did you catch that? FREE COMPOST TEA I don't even need to keep my own worm bin these guys rock! A year ago, I had no idea how to grow hydroponically. Thanks to Taylor, Casey, and their friendly crew, I was able to have consecutive successful grows and have a great time learning the ropes. I did DWC (deep water culture), aquaponic system, and coco coir. They helped me out with everything. Everything I needed was found and purchased here at Spectrum Hydo.
