Got my lashes done a couple days ago for the first time at this salon. I was happy with my lashes and the service, but my eyes burned after the appointment. My technician told me to sit in front of the fan more, so i did, but they started burning again shortly after. It stopped after about 20 minutes. I made sure not to get them wet for the first 48 hours. I took a shower today and my eyes are completely bloodshot red. Again this has never happened to me before and ive gotten my lashes done several times. I called Spectrum Lashes to let them know and the receptionist said it could be the weather or a bug in my eye... no its definitely the lashes. Their technique or the adhesive they used absolutely caused this. Not sure if other people had a similar experience, but i will absolutely not be coming back here. read more

Went back for a refill and Helen did my lashes...LOVE them more than before!!! I told her what I wanted changed from the first time and she did just that. During the process I could feel my eyes were starting to get irritated and when she was done they were SOOO red. She put some drops in and within 5 minutes 100% better. Been here countless of times but won't be returning after my last visit. I get a new "technician" on every visit. Simply because i don't know who to ask for when i make reservations because none of the ladies bother to even introduce themselves or build any form of clientele. But Bee did my last set and the quality of the application may be the worst i have ever seen. I got mega volume and she completed my set in the less than hour and it SHOWS. She also managed to get my bottom lashes stuck to the top and decided amongst herself to CUT my lashes off yes cut instead of applying removal cream. I cried myself to sleep! This place is absolutely awful. After having a few issues in the past I decided my last experience there would be my last time going, EVER. I showed the SAME lash technician a picture of lashes she had done for me in the past. After I got up from the chair and looked in the mirror, it was nothing like the picture I showed her. I had an appointment at 6 pm on a Monday. I have been going to see my technician at this location for over a year. I have never cancelled, never been late. In fact, I have waited over an hour, but its okay, it happens....On this day, because of a patient emergency, I completely forgot. A lady by the name of Hayley called me. She reminded me I had an appointment at 6 ( it was 6:20 ). I was honest and told her I forgot and I sincerely apologized. She huffed and pretty much hung up on me. I thought about it and called her two days later. I told her that I have always been courteous about their time and thought that she treated me poorly. Customer service should not end in being hung up on for missing an appointment.. But, because I appreciate my technician, I asked her if I could make another appointment. She, again, very rudely , told me that my technician was going on vacation for a month, and again hung up on me. I'm not going back. In the end, no technician is worth poor customer care. read more

They lied to me multiple times. I asked if the lashes would be mink lashes. Over the phone when booking and the technician- both assured me they were. Once it was finished I knew they were not. Extremely dissapointed...although the atmosphere was nice and relaxing, the quality of my lash application was horrible! This was my first visit to spectrum however it was not my first time having my lashes done, therefore I know the time spand in which they should last. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming, at first. The woman who did my lashes however had an attitude from the beginning. She was very rude to me when I asked her for thicker lashes. I went here to get my nails done before a big trip. I don't usually get my nails done, but I had a feeling my boyfriend was going to propose so I wanted to get my nails done. First problem I sat down to get my nails done and they didn't even ask what color I wanted. I figured they would put on the fake nail, then ask. Whatever, I never do my nails so I don't know. Turns out they just assumed I wanted natural colored nails. So I explain that I wanted mint colored nails and the guy gets frustrated that he has to start over? I don't know why they didn't just ask me what I wanted. Anyway, so then he does my nails really quick and rushes me to pay. They look good, so I'm not tripping. However, in less than 1 day my nail color starts to turn grey? Like it's dirty or something. I tried washing them, I tried using nail polish remover, but nothing cleaned them. So I am on vacation, with dirty nails, and I can't even take them off. So I go to a little corner store and buy nail polish to paint over them. Which lasted long enough to get engaged, but I am pissed because I spent $80 on my nails for them to look like shit. Like I said, I normally don't do my nails and now I have a reason to never do them again. I could have gotten stick on nails for $5 that would have looked better. I'm very disappointed. My lashes aren't bad but I've definitely had better volume lashes, I think there natural lashes are definitely better, one of my eyes came out a little fuller than the other. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is nice but the actually service was horrible. My lashes did not last 1 day before they were coming out on my pillow. When I called to get them fixed they told me to come in, and they fixed them but the next morning they were on my pillow again. I tried their individual lashes instead of the extensions just to make sure their service was worth it, so glad I only wasted $30 oppose to $75. They do a wonderful job. I've been coming here for about a year. I am constantly complemented on how beautiful and natural my lashes look. People always want to know if my lashes are real and if not where did I go.. And I always say here :) Also all of the staff is always very friendly. It's a shame they have such an awful front desk attendant because the lashes are fabulous here. I started going to this place with my lash girl Kayce for almost a year now due to a good friend of mine recommended this place. The front desk lady is very rude and temperament. She gives you tons of attitude when you just forget your appointment due to busy with work or life so it slipped your mind. Like damn my bad. Recently I went and my lashes had fallen off so I called to tried to get them fixed before the three day graces period, she informed me that my lash girl is out of town so she can't do it. I'm like can I have someone else do it, she's like yes but we have to charged you. I'm like no, that shouldn't be the case. Why would I get charged if my lashes has fallen off and I'm calling within 3 days. And then she goes to promises me that Kayce can fixed my lashes when she come back. I forgot my appointment because I got called in to work and I tried to call them and tell her but instead she going off on me and telling me I can't get my lashes fixed anymore because it been to long and etc. I'm like wtf dude. That's just unprofessional and not worth you be treated like that. I have been coming to spectrum for about a year and I was going to call to schedule my appointment and I see 2 recent nasty reviews. My mom has a monthly plan with Amazing Lashes and absolutely hates them and can't wait till she can cancel and switch over to Spectrum. I don't have to pay monthly I come when I need to. I recommend Spectrum over every lash place in Sugar Land and Houston. My lashes always last over a month! I get length 15 (I do believe its the longest length). I had the worst experience at spectrum lashes. I came in for a 5:30pm apppointment on Wednesday, June 21st. The first red flag was the lady who was going to install my lashes did not wash her hands prior to coming in contact with my eyes. After an hour, I Paid $75 for a fulll lash set plus tip! By Thursday morning my eyes had tripled in size and where extremely itchy, especially my uppper eye lid & lower eye. I had a conference all day Thursday so I put on glass to cover the damage. By 9am Friday morning, I was at spectrum to show them what happened to my eyes. The lady at the front desk looks at me and says "oh, so what do you want to do". No empathy, no remorse, no apology! I told them I don't know what is causing the swelling/itch/redness so we should probably take off the entire thing. Meanwhile, I am running late to work. The first person came in the room and did not wash their hands, proceeded to touching my eyes. I had to ask her to use hand sanitizer. After about 15 mins another lady came in the room and proceeded to relieve the lady taking off the lashes, she did not wash hand or sanitize either. After a total of 70mins, they finally took the lashes off. My eyes remained sensitive, red and burned from the adhesive remover. The lady who took the lashes off, admitted that the person who did my lashes used a lot of glue and that's why it took so long to get the lashes off. My expectation is that before I leave, someone would apologize for the inconvenience, failure to deliver adequate service and reimburse my payment. No! That did not happen. Instead, the lady in the front desk was focused on answering calls and telling me there is nothing they can do. I am extremely disappointed. I would not recommend them to anyone. Terrible customer service. Zero accountability! I plan to escalate this situation. This could happen to someone else and I do not believe it is acceptable. I have pictures! read more

I have gone to this place before to get my lashes done and I had no problem. I had a full set of lashes that were long like I asked for. This past week I went in to get a fresh new set which is $75. I walked in the room and the lady inside said she would come back. I had no problem with that. I laid down and waited for her. When she walked in, I greeted her and told her that I would like long lashes. She laughed a little and said ok. She continued with the lash application.. When we were done, she was going to remove the tape/separator that's put so your lower lashes won't stick. I nicely asked if she could please be careful because the last time some of my lower lashes were completely taken off. She replied in a rude tone, They Are Not Going To Come Off.. I was shocked for a little and just said ok. She gave me a mirror and I saw my lashes. I liked them but I also saw a difference from the previous times. I thought to myself that I maybe needed to brush them and that since my eyes were closed for a while that it would take time.. I went in to get these lashes done on Thursday. Today is Monday. I called them and spoke to the front desk lady. I called to let them know and explained to her that I am not the type to complain but that I don't think it's right. $75 is a lot of money which I saved to get my lashes done. She went on with maybe I wet them before time and I explained that I didn't even shower that night because I know the routin. She told me, what do you want me to do? I was shocked at this. I said, I called to let you know what happened to my lashes so you can know for your business. I added that I'm not looking to get them replaced or anything in that way but that I was upset of the outcome of my lashes. I'm sorry ladies but I honestly don't think it's cool to pay $75 when I could have spent it elsewhere like in food, clothing, etc. I feel bad writing this but I have to.
