BEWARE DISHONEST REPS WHO ADD UNWANTED SERVICES TO YOUR ACCOUNT!! First time Spectrum customer. I went into the store to pick up equipment to self-install internet service. The rep I dealt with --Ademin (or something like that) --- kept hard selling me on Spectrum mobile service, which I verbally told him I was not interested in at this time, no matter the deal offered. After minutes of way too much typing, asking me for my phone, and more typing, I said to him, "This is just for internet, right?" to which he mumbled a muted affirmative response. Minutes later (after even more typing) I get my internet equipment and return home. Just to verify that my account had been setup correctly, I logged into the Spectrum app. And what did I find? Spectrum Mobile service had been added to my account, against my express wishes and despite assurance from the rep that I only was signing up for internet service. Had I not checked, come a year from now, when the free year of mobile service was up, my bill would have increased, and I wouldn't have remembered why. THESE ARE THE DECEPTIVE PRACTICES THAT SPECTRUM IS LEGENDARY FOR (and which I never believed, until it happened to me). Stay away from this location, and if you must go, check your account afterwards. To finish the story, I called Spectrum customer service after finding the un-asked-for mobile service added to my account and had the service disconnected. I also reported the rep, but I doubt any action will be taken. I suspect this behavior is encouraged at the management level. Or maybe Ademin, the rep, mistook me for being clueless. read more

I showed up at this Spectrum location to return my equipment and found about 20 people waiting to be seen. I sat there for 30 minutes with my equipment before someone finally came out to tell me that if I'm just returning equipment, they scan it without needing to wait in line, and I'd get a confirmation email. Really? That should've been made clear from the start. Honestly, between the frequent outages and the gradual bait-and-switch with monthly charges increasing over time, I'm done with Spectrum. DO NOT get the mobile service. You won't have cellular service in so many places, and calls will hang up while you're in the middle of talking to people. I signed up for Spectrum mobile service and it was awful. I don't recommend this location. Long waits and poor service. read more

10:40am on a Saturday. In order to pick up equipment that is paid for, you have to wait in a 7+ person line of people seeking help across all their services. There are two people working. It's wildly inefficient and slow. Everyone seems nice and polite but we're all gonna be here for at least an hour. Update: not a full hour but almost and I left and had to cancel my service since I was getting error messages and was not able to log into brand new account. I was told I could take the equipment and leave and try and home and contact support if I had issues. A sparkling example of Spectrum's amazing quality. The agent who helped me was kind and didn't seem like there was anything they could do unless I was willing to leave and *hope* for my account to work. I'll be trying the one other home internet option in my area and hoping that works. read more

I left... I made a reservation earlier in the day to come in. When I got to the store, the associate told me, I had to sign in so I did. I got a text saying go to the front and I went and the associate said no one called you (it felt like he was trying to give attitude), and I explained that I got a text to come to the front. I think overall it was the sales associate attitude and the slow service that made me just decide to leave. After a long day at work, I don't need that. I went to Verizon instead to get home internet service for $35/mo (a special deal for existing customers), and I believe they have other reasonable deals as well. In my experience, Spectrum has been very shady anyway so this experience gave me even more reason to not use their services. In the past, I was charged a bill after I ended service and had to dispute it after it went to collections. Make sure to document everything just in case. read more

Customer Service keeps telling me that I cannot cancel. These different excuses like their system is great out. Their system is down. They don't know how to do it or you have to pay the money before you can cancel. Absolutely ridiculous. It'll be a class action lawsuit soon. Today I had a horrible experience. The people who work here, including the manager, I don't know how they got these customer service jobs. 1. They don't know their own procedures. 2. They have no empathy. I resolved my problem inside the store by calling Spectrum's customer service number because they couldn't give me an answer and were very rude, as if I were the bad guy just because I got desperate and they wouldn't help me. I've had the best service with Spectrum! We have 5 phone lines with a great price! When I need to return an old modem..I return it at UPS! I've been a customer for several years! I came in to get a new modem, told them I was happy with my cell service and not interested in changing, left and looked at my recipt and they had signed me up for spectrum mobile. I confirmed multiple time because the guy was being sketchy that I was not being given cell service. Pulled my reciept out of the bag at home and there was a SIM card stapled to it. Called and they confirmed I was signed up for mobile and had to cancel with spectrum. Absolutely insane behavior. read more

Hello, Ive had Spectrum internet for over a year now and its still mostly reliable & I received a 'free' upgrade (I didn't request) to 400/mbs data. I also reviewed my phone bill ,since recently retired, on a true fixed income now : Social Security benefits. I was paying $50/mo. Fortunately, Spectrum offers free monthly phone service if you have internet. I switched, The process was not smooth w/phone & the prev. provider. Wonderful CSA handled it . She took care of IT. Was a long time customer with this company when i say long time i am talking long before it was spectrum my email was @ca.rr.com so anyway spectrum bait and switched me and basically lied to me and downgraded my service so i swore i would leave them as soon as i could. well that day came and i quit them for AT&t but i still had some Services with them. they assured me at that time my email was secure. well after all of these years they killed my email an email have had for 20+ years.. without warning.. spectrum is the most unethical company EVER they use dirty tactics they will lie to you. they will overcharge you and try every dirty trick in the book to keep you roped in... last time i tried to cancel a spectrum acount it took me no less than 3 hours and all they did was try to upsell me more services. they make it imposible to get out. and if they di they try to make you pay some made up ballance to leave. do yourself a FAVOR and never do business with them read more

I have been getting billed the same amount for a year. Suddenly my bill increased 35%! My promotions ran out and I never received an email, only an increase. Every month I get an email confirming my payment and the amount has been the same. I was told I have to open the billing statement to then look at promotions expiration dates. Why would I look at a bill that is the same every month? Spectrum secretly tries to "get you" with these promotions that expire with NO notification. It's an unfair way to treat a client. I'm happy to pay for what I get. I'm not okay with suddenly being charged 35% more for the same exact service. read more

Terrible experience. This team didn't want to work. They didn't t greet any guests but were glued to the tv screens as if the customers were not a priority and were interrupting them. The manager was beyond rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't ever visit this location again. I hope I don't ever have to get spectrum again from this horrific customer experience. Great rates but WORST DEAL EVER. We bought 2 new phones thru them and we didnt realize, they didn't offer insurance. How sad that we ASSUMED they put insurance on our phones as EVERY OTHER COMPANY DOES for $5 a month. Of course, a phone got smashed in a door at work. I had my local channels for free where i live for 4-5 months, now they claim that they were in the wrong package that we get for free. I called them to see if I can get them back and they want me to get an extra 15 channels which includes the local channels i had before its 65$ i can't pay that. LIES, LIES, LIES! DON'T BELIEVE THE COMMERCIALS. For us, Spectrum cable/internet services have been the ABSOLUTE WORST. We've had them for some time now hoping the service would improve. However, for the last couple of months the service has become increasingly and completely UNRELIABLE. Today is September 17th, 2025 and the service has gone out almost EVERYDAY for the last week ... constant interruptions throughout the day - hours long interruptions even on some days over the past month. Spectrum lie to you and tell you that your account is final and you are fully paid up. But when you ask them to disconnect the auto pay, they refuse. And then take more money from you after swearing the account is finished and fully paid. They also say the auto pay will turn off after the last billing cycle. Now they say you have to wait 90 days?? The worst experience I've ever had. They were rude. They had me sign in and then helped someone who was behind me. I have never been treated so poorly. They need to fire everyone who was there today!
