The worst experience I've ever had. They were rude. They had me sign in and then helped someone who was behind me. I have never been treated so poorly. They need to fire everyone who was there today! I talked to a really nice woman at spectrum yesterday and she told me I can exchange my dad's equipment for him because he was in the hospital I am trying to get his place ready for him. I went to this store location two weeks ago and asked to speak to a manager who I was told, his name is BOB. For two days he was not in the store, I asked if I could get his number to call him, and they gave me the 800 number. The Customer Service toll free number. I left my name and number with the representative at the desk and asked if Bob can call me to discuss my dissatisfaction with a Store representatives as well as Spectrum. It's been two weeks he has not yet returned my call. Spectrum is the most horrific company to have to deal with, especially at this store on Pico and San Vicente. They do not care about their customers or show any amount of customer service. I can see if they have a manager like Bob I can see why they act the way they do. If you have a manager who is so unprofessional, what do you expect from your staff? I do not recommend Spectrum to anyone. read more

I can't wait until 5g internet comes to my area and puts the Spectrum monopoly in their place. Constant increase in charges. I had service at home and my art studio, but cancelled my art studio due to the price tripling within 6 months. They do whatever they want because they know most people can't get another provider where they live. I supplied my own router and they are charging me for not "returning" it because they failed to document that I had provided it myself. ​The service is fine but due to their business practices I'll be switching to a 5g provider as soon as I can. read more

I had a complicated issue (phone was lost, replacement was sent with a locked SIM card) and Francisco was so generous, kind and patient. It took a good minute to get everything squared away and taken care of, but I left with my issue resolved and was shown the best customer service I've received in a while. I was also holding my sleeping 1 year-old the whole time and he got me a chair so I could sit while I wait. SLEEPING DURING SPECTRUM TRAING CLASSES -Where do they hire these people who work in Cell Phone stores? I know it's been tough getting GOOD employees since the pandemic, but the quality that's being hired has reached an all time LOW. I I asked for a new SIM card for my new phone. because I didn't receive one when I ordered my new phone over the phone. After the representative ( with a very small r) verified I had an account, he held on to the SIM card like he had a winning lottery ticket and he wasn't sure if I was the real winner. He had to ask another employee if he could give it to me. Was this person sleeping during Spectrum training classes? Why is someone who is hired to sell phones and service not know if he can give a SIM card to a verified customer with an active account? He then insisted I I needed to complete a document that was emailed to me before getting the SIM card...huh? I couldn't locate that email and asked if he could send it..of course he can't! Didn't know how, if or when ..didn't really expect much ( or anything ) from this guy. It was evident from our first few words he didn't really know what he should or shouldn't be doing. He then asked his unprofessional/ slumping in her seat co-worker what to do. She had about .20 more customer service skills/ manners than he did which is not saying anything. The co - worker had to tell him that he can give the card but it can't be activated until ...the document was signed.. Keep in mind, I wasn't going in there for activation, I was going for that SIM card that the corporate office said to pick up or have mailed. The co- worker had to ask HIM ( of all people) if there was a way to re send the email...of course he didn't know lol, why is SHE asking HIM . And then to top it off...the masculine-ish female responded to me/ a paying customer when asked a question about the Spectrum activation process with the word " obviously" ...now who says that to customers? Clearly No home training nor business communication training with this one. Young adults like these 2 characters need to LEARN that success in all areas of life begins with your attitude and behavior..and your presentation. Home training and education as well. And CORPORATIONS , shame on you...you've gotta do MUCH better with who you HIRE to represent your business rather than just hiring whoever shows up.. you'll continue to lose customers and receive poor reviews, as evidenced here on Yelp at ALL of your store! As for me, I'm calling in to cancel my accounts the end of the week. I'd rather PAY more and get quality service. read more

There should be an option for 0 stars! This is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went in to swap out some equipment and the representative (AJ? RJ? I can't remember since he refused to give his real name, we will call him BJ since it seems to fit him well), was so rude and nasty that I ended up walking out and cancelling all my Spectrum services. There was a guy called Brandon, the guy with eyeglasses on, he was super rude and had power trips on paying customers. Would much rather go to a different location and or just cancel the service for good just not to see him again in the future. He made me go there 2-3 times in one day just to pick up the equipment that I ordered online and made me wait in line each time even though there weren't many people at the store. Me being 9 months pregnant going back and forth my husband was super upset about the whole experience. When we actually picked up the equipment it took us literally less than 5 minutes. Apparently, some people really hate their job to the point they take that anger out on regular paying customers. Shame on them. While I was taking pics of the equipment he demanded that I couldn't take pictures of him and who he thought he was, I even showed him the pics I took just to calm him down. The whole experience was very demeaning. The joke's on him, we already had his pic. He wasn't there to help people, he was there to make people's lives complicated over just some internet service.
