If I could give zero stars I would! our internet went out and we informed customer service that there was an outage in our area and we would be informed when service was restored... We were never informed of service coming back on and I decided to cancel to get a new internet provider... I went to a store and cancelled then the next day they charged my card again! They claimed that the cycle was from the middle of the month and that they charged at the end of the month. I asked to be reimbursed for the days we had no service and the time remaining that we had on the current month since I cancelled. They told me that they "could not confirm we had no service during the outage" because I didn't call every single day to wait on hold for an hour in order to complain! The manager I spoke to was named Michael and speaking to him was a horrible experience! If you get spectrum your Internet will go out all the time and is completely unreliable and working with customer service is worse than having a root canal! read more

SUMMARY: Spectrum needs to upgrade their service so it doesn't go down after a few raindrops. DETAILS: The box that sends signals to my neighborhood always loses power when it rains. I've lost several days of work every month because they haven't figured out a way to protect that signal box from the elements so it doesn't lose power. It's summer in Orlando. There are daily thunder storms! I'm not even talking about hurricanes or hailstorms. I shouldn't have to go to coffee shops several days per month for WiFi when I'm paying for it to use in my home office. Customer Service is nice and they credit you $1 per day of missed Internet. The repairman said there's also too many people in Orlando, so that's a lot of signals. (No kidding. Orlando is STUFFED with people, and I don't mean just the theme park tourists!) I'm moving out soon (owner is selling this rental) but I recommend AT&T fiber optic. More pricey, but worth it. Used AT&T for a decade on the Space Coast and upgraded to Fiber Optic. NEVER goes down unless it's a CAT 5 Hurricane. I gave Three Stars because SPECTRUM Tech Support and Customer Support are responsive and give you credits and discounts to keep you as a customer. read more

I have internet, phone line and two DVR Boxes. Spectrum is by far the best. 500Mbps speed, over the last ten/ fifteen years they have responded and repaired any issue quickly. If a DVR goes bad I swap it. No hassle I see a few bad reviews. They could be a rival company posting them or maybe some peoples bad experience? Mine has always been great. read more

Even to return equipment and get a receipt, they tell you to wait half an hour if you want a receipt or go to UPS (who is more efficient and will get you out immediately) RUN RUN RUN. AT&T offers fiber, Wi-Fi hasn't dropped since I switched. If you want spotty Wi-Fi that will decrease in speed depending on how many people are on, this is a great choice. If you want professional and adequately staffed stores, you may want to avoid them. It's 6pm, the time when most are getting off of work, and they have two employees in the store. Manager left them with poor direction. Instead of working the in and out drop offs, they send you to another store. read more

First off let me say that I would never recommend this business to anyone. When I called and tried to get internet with this company the first thing I told them over the phone was do not have any packages delivered due to porch pirates and what do you know what happened the next day. Yep a package was delivered to my place and I got an email stating your package will arrive soon. Then no more than a minute later another email stating my package has been delivered. So I call spectrum and inform them of this and that I was not gonna activate my account due to them not following directions. So they told me to take my package to the nearest spectrum store and they will handle the situation. So after arriving I sign in like you're supposed to and waited. After a few mins they called my name and I told the lady my situation and what I was told she replies to me and informs me that my package can not be left there and I told her this is what was told to me, and before anything this man ( who by the way is very unprofessional ) name Ejerdi come to where we are at and tells me to take my stuff or he will remove it and I would still be responsible for it. I told him to continue to assist the lady I front of him And not to worry about my situation cause he wasn't they one assisting me. He grabs my package and walks it towards the door as he notices I'm recording him he paves my package down and tells me he doesn't wanna be recorded. Yeah I caught you treating customers like crap I told him. Right away Ms. Cruz the assistant manager comes in like a pro and manages the situation. Thanks to her she made things easy and took the package and removed it from my account and told me everything will be ok. Check with me soon. While I was listening to the guy agent, he's talking to the customer about what he did for his wife instead of getting to the client issue and resolving the problem fast to get to the other five people sitting patiently. Being charged for 300mbps and for the last month I have been checking my speed daily just to see and I'm running 30-62 highest. Some shady greed right there. If I had an option I would have xfinity but greedy apartment complexes make greedy deals with companies to make profits. I stream and game daily and my wife uses the internet for work. Running apps like tiktok, Instagram, fb etc. Since I am stuck here at this complex I might be petty and make them upgrade to fiber optic so they have to dig to run my fat cable. Just some crap how we get treated, but I get called once a month to upgrade to the worse tv package deal you can imagine.
