I called customer service about a broken box and they suggested I go down and replace the equipment (which I have done multiple times before). I get a nasty lecture from Valente how my husbands name is on the account and not mine. (although they have no problem taking payment from MY credit card) AND if I want to bring anything down that I should get power of attorney. I said I've done business down here before and it has never been a problem. This exchange went on for several minutes until Valente finally gave me a box and said that I could in reality just call Spectrum and put my name on the account. AND STILL HE KEPT BEING RUDE AND NASTY. I am cancelling my account in the new year. F these guys. read more

Several times I have gone here to get parts for my tv. Every time they give us the wrong parts. For the fourth time, I went and tried to get the right parts and return the wrong ones. When going inside the line was ridiculously long and because all I needed to do was give them the wronging part back, I asked if I could quickly give it back instead of waiting in the line but the man working there was very rude and yelled that I needed to wait like everybody else even though it was their fault I had to come back 4 times. read more

Spectrum told me that I would have to go to one of their stores to pick up equipment and that I could make an appointment by phone. But there was no phone number for the store at all, instead all that is listed is the 888 number. So I drove thirty minutes to the closest store to me in Pasadena, only to find out that they don't have any equipment available. When I asked the spectrum employee when would they have anymore shipments, she replied we have very limited shipments and usually it's in the morning but she wasn't sure about tomorrow. Then I told her can I have the stores phone number so I can confirm before coming out next time. Her response? No, I can't give you our number, you will have to call this 888 number. Spectrum, really? I wasted thirty minutes driving to a store that you told me to, and then another thirty minutes driving back home only to come home empty handed. I really don't understand why there is not an individual phone number for each store. The employee also told me to call spectrum myself and have the equipment delivered instead. Then when I got home I wasted another hour repeating today's event to several representatives before finally one was adept enough to help me. Honestly, customer service is extremely in need of reviewing. read more

Stay away from this office. They mixed everyone who wants to inquire about their cell phone business and set up phones who need 2 hrs to people who wants to return equipments who needs 30 seconds. This isn't for the people in the store but for the company as a whole. Our internet goes out every day. Sometimes for hours. They've replaced the cabling, and the modem and router, and still it dies. Finally someone who works for them told us that they don't have the infrastructure right now during covid to support all their subscribers so we have to expect this until they get everything built up. They're essentially selling a service that they can't provide. So we're back to AT&T. It's slower but it will at least not be dying when someone in our family is working from home. read more

I was there super bowl Sunday. I got there about an hour and a half before kick off. I thought that would be enough time to get back to see kickoff. I needed to pay a bill and speak to someone about dead spots on my property. There were about 4 people waiting when I got there. I signed in and sat. There were 3 staff working. After 30 min I noticed many more people arriving but staff were helping the same 3 people. People were getting upset and asking staff what is taking so long. None would answer. At almost 3:30 pm when the game started one staff (I was told his name was Valentino) picked up a large soft drink and walked to the back leaving only 2 staff. We all knew he went in back to see the game. One lady and her husband were so mad, she walk out. She tried to slam the door but it had a safety and did not allow it slam. I walked over to a staff member named Amanda and said why did he leave (asking about the staff that left)? You have a full house. She rudely said under California law we get a lunch. I laughed and asked for her name and the person that left. I was very frustrated. In the hour and a half I was there they helped the same three people. I left and drove to another location that is further from me but I was helped in 10 minutes and they had the game on so every one was entertained. I will never return to this location. If it were not for the other location I would be looking for a new service. read more

Worse service for internet and wi-fi. I have the best equipment you cabn get, but if the service to it sucks, it's worthless. Internet is spotty all day long... The internet/WiFi service SUCKS! I've been having so many issues prior to COVID-19 and were not able to fix them--from slow internet to modem/router issues. Exchanged my equipment thinking may be the best option but it wasn't. It is the incoming service provided by Spectrum; their customer service is as bad as the speed the internet works...go buy a mifi if you want a more reliable service. read more

Honestly, this company is so disorganized and unfortunately is one of 1 of 2 service providers in our area. My husband and I are essential workers who work remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I specifically work in clinical trial research (ie. the field that is trying to develop vaccines and treatments for COVID-19/coronavirus). We have had to live in a hotel THE PAST 9 DAYS to have access to the internet to do our jobs because spectrum can't escalate our situation. They have turned off all emergency tickets in the Los Angeles area because of high demand. We can't live in our home during a pandemic AND keep working at our jobs because of Spectrum'S negligence. They need systems in place for emergencies like this especially with scientists and researchers working from home relying on their services. read more

i went to this spectrum store on tues. afternoon 6/7 with some questions about possibly bundling my cable, phone and internet with spectrum. i signed in, then sat there for about an hour before i just got up and left out of frustration. i went on a weekday afternoon on purpose to avoid weekend crowds, but that backfired. there were only two employees helping people at the counters. sone people were literally eating their lunch while they waited, and one guy was making jokes about how if someone died, noone would notice, as noone from spectrum came over to even ask why we were there. i know it's cable tv, and if everything went smoothly, that would bexstrange. but this was just ridiculous. anyway, i left and went to the spextrum office in the paseo colorado, walked right in and got all my questions answered. last time i go to this spectrum office read more

This is a review of the SPECTRUM company, not the store. I had Time Warner then it was bought by Spectrum. Time Warner wasn't great but Spectrum sucks! I am trying to add a 3rd cable box and went to their store 3 times and each time I told them I lived in the old Time Warner territory and needed a box that worked with the old infrastructure. After 3 tries the 3rd phone tech informed me I am "grandfathered in" for Time Warner and don't really have Spectrum and they really don't supp[ly the old cable boxes any longer. I would need to switch to Spectrum and would also need to replace my internet router with a new separate router and modem. I'm sure switching will put me in a new package that costs more, and then more, and then more... I am appalled that they buy a company and fail to support the old customers. They hope the old hardware dies off the we will be forced to convert. read more

Horrible customer service. I went to pick up some new cables for my modem, the guy that helped me was extremely rude and passive aggressive towards me. Not only was he rude to me but he was rude to an elderly lady that complained about the wait. I cancelled my service as soon as I got home due to my experIence with their store rep. After reading the reviews I walked in and had a reservation already made. I can hear the spectrum guy tell an elderly woman that he wasn't going to continue repeating himself because it wasn't going to go anywhere told her to go back home and get what she needed if she wanted to get service and continued to raise his voice at her saying she wasn't going to receive service today. I felt terrible for her as she must of been 80. As far as my reservation, he gave me a difficult time and contradicted himself stating that if I was an authorized user then it's almost instant to get what I needed. I got authorization then contradicted himself by saying it can take up to 3-5 business days to reflect my authorization. Which was a lie, it was instant he just seems like he's one of those people on some weird power trip who likes to say no and has no genuine interest in helping people. I hope he gets better training on customer service this place was worse than the post office. They seem to hate their lives. read more

Spectrum Cable has no customer loyalty. We've been with Spectrum for several years now and every year the bill continues to increase. No new promotions available to existing customers. They snag you with low introductory prices and then raise the rates once the intro period is over. We called to complain about the raising rates and they offer to cut services and tell you about some government program for low income rebates that no one qualifies for. We decided to cut the cable and go with Giggle Fibre ( yes, it's giggle fibre ) and Hulu plus live TV. All the broadcast channels plus most of the popular cable channels. None of the way too many and redundant cable channels being offered by Spectrum. We ended up saving over $75 a month. One thing to note, if you decide to get rid of Spectrum, wait until the last day of your billing cycle, Spectrum will not prorate you final bill. The only bill for the full month. With more and more people cutting the cable you would think that cable companies would offer more competitive rates, and make serious attempts to retain existing customers. Spectrum clearly does not. read more

Facilities are brand new, I believe 4 months since this location opened. They have a self pay kiosk to make payments for your utility bill, which I think is convenient. Place was clean and organized. Only issue that needs to be improved is the costumer service attention and knowledge of their products. I was returning some equipment and exchanging it for another box. The representative his name Oscar, told me he didn't know if the new box would work after I plug it in and he just said it "might or might not in that case call costumer service" well apparently he didn't know exactly, and his poor communication to explain me why was the reason for it. I told him I called ahead to spectrum and they set up everything for me just to return and exchange the box but he didn't see that in the system. He admitted there was some miscommunication with HQ and the retail stores so I guess I left clueless if the box was gonna be working right after I plug it in. I'm dissatisfied with the service he provided as a 10 year spectrum costumer I expected a better resourceful and helpful service but instead he just seemed he didn't care and told me just call if you have problems and ask them. Hopefully they improve for now I will keep going to the old store in Arcadia. read more

I entered the store without a reservation, and logged in requesting to purchase a phone case and screen protector for my daughter's new iphone 13. I am a Spectrum customer. We found the two items we wanted and waited another 20 minutes to see a representative. When we told he what we wanted, he said these items were not sold here at the store and would have to be shipped. We are leaving town tomorrow and need the case and protector shield now. There were several cases available, and they were locked so a request to unlock was mandator. If the items were NOT for sale here, then why isn't there a sign saying so? And more bizarrly, why would they have several available of the type we wanted (along with many many other types with multiples of each types). Wasting my time is CRAPPY service by the management, especially for a devoted customer. I think the management skills observed at this store need an overhaul. I went to Spectrum over in Pasadena Hasting's Ranch yesterday to pay our bill! Normally I pay online, but this month we had a few bills that needed to be paid off online. So I decided to pay in cash for this month, so I go into pay the bill, I go to sign in, and the guy (don't even remember his name) asked what I was needing, so I told him just to pay our bill! He then told me to follow him over and it was so hard to hear him because he was talking ahead of himself, his back was to me and it is so hard hear with the masks on! So I kept telling him I couldn't understand him and he was getting very upset with me. Finally I could hear him, but I was frustrated, told me to stand in a specific spot and wait for the other few customers to be waited upon to pay their bill! Finally no one around, I'm still waiting and asked if I could pay!! They were very rude and said "well, go ahead, what are you waiting for?" So I have to stand and wait for the kiosk to "reboot" and all I'm doing is asking a question, the guy kept telling me not to do anything, I told him I'm just standing there...this went on for another minute! Finally I asked another guy if I would be able to get change from paying my bill, he was even more rude and said "no we don't do that!!" I asked if any of the other gentleman would help me with change, he said "we don't do that here!!!" I'm like WHAT!!! I was so frustrated, so I came home and called Spectrum, complained to them, told them what happened, and they told me of course they would do change! I'm never going there again, in fact I had a similar situation about not quite a year ago at this location, thinking it might be better this time, NOPE!! read more
