My mom is in memory care here (which was rated very good) and when I visit, I like to take her outside to sit in the fresh air. I ask her is she wanted hot chocolate, tea or coffee at the refreshment station near the front door? She said..hot chocolate. I go to make..there isn't any. So I ask..tea or coffee? Mom said tea..go to make...no tea. I made the coffee and we went outside. I think this station should be regularly monitored and filled. This is not a reflection on the whole place, it is one area. The food is better quality, rooms are always cleaned, employees try hard, family members are always welcomed...now, you do pay for this quality of care. There is independent and assisted care too which is very different than memory care too.

I came there from being in another Hospital for about 22 days, and I had a lot of issues going on with my health. For the two weeks I was there I was treated with such a great host of staff members in multiple positions. you all really took care of me in so many ways. I felt the concern of my well being, pleasant and joyful in serving me. From nurses, doctors, therapists, dialysis, food service, housekeeping , others in the hallways were very friendly. I know many faces, but I can't remember all the names, I am going to put up some more reviews with names that I remember. I was able to watch parenting videos and gain knowledge; as well as being able to get clothes for my baby; diapers, and a bassinet! I did not, and have not felt judged by anybody in their office. God has his hands inside this facility, and I am so appreciative of behind the scenes support that I have needed to be able to sleep at night. They never rush me, and take the time to listen. They are always punctual...and I never felt like they left me hanging. Don't hesitate to come here. It's been what I needed. I only hope I can give back one day!

This place is great…read more The staff is extremely friendly and caring. For those wondering, yes this is a faith based non profit with services to help. As a new mom with no direction or help I came upon this place by the grace of God and have built a great relationship with staff. Especially Ellen. I am very blessed to have found this place when I felt I had no sense of support system or direction to be guided in. They offer educational videos from pregnancy all the way to toddler stages. They have great resources to direct for additional help and I just wish more people would really see the benefits from this place. Never once did I feel "forced or fed" religion. I am a Christian. And there was nothing I appreciated more than walking in through those doors and pray with someone when I felt I had nobody. They also have worksheets with information to really understand what you learn about pregnancy/baby development and labor etc. and they offer a small little boutique with great items! I've gotten so many great things from there and again have been nothing but grateful. The staff really develop a bond with the kids that's hard to find at most places. My mother was admitted to this center to be administered an antibiotic intravenously for 21 days…read more Her overall care was consistent and was administered medications as needed and directed. Meals were delivered according to nutrition needs, physical therapy was also well received by my mother. The negative experience lies in her discharge procedures as well as lack of communication with the Director of Nursing Angie and Case Manager Jenny. Her discharge required portable oxygen as well as set up for home oxygen she was released with neither and was lied to that we simply had to call and they will deliver it. It was confirmed by the company they never received the requests. She was prolonged a procedure for several days to remove a tic and was transported twice to a hospital to have it removed without confirmed scheduling resulting in her being left once and I had to Uber her back to Life Care. The D.O.N Angie and Case Manager Jenny never returned calls and once confronted released they were telephoning a number that was never given to Them upon intake from my mother, myself or St Vincent where she was prior to being released there. She was discharged without three vital life threatening medications causing her to miss doses and resulting her being in the hospital upon arrival. If you have any other options please choose them. We have filed a formal complaint with AHCA and our family attorney has admonished us to build a case and we are.
