Got work here a while ago and the owner Tim seemed like a pretty cool guy! I got some major work done with a turbo kit install and my car would have be done pretty quickly but with all the riots and Covid it took a bit longer than expected but well worth the wait! Owner/ Employee threatens me So one of the owners/employees contacted me to purchase my car that they saw an ad of. While explaining the features and details of the car he talks over me saying, "none of that matters" a few times I tell him alright this isn't going to work out. I call another number who has contacted me and it's the same shop different person and he says his partner and I got on the wrong foot and I can clearly here the original caller say " fuck that guy, fuck that car, where is he I'm going to his house" lol first of all pull up you think youre scary old lame ass. Second, is that how you conduct business when someone doesn't want to sell you a car because you chose to have hate shitty attitude and be rude. These are the consequences. Purchased a built transmssion for an 08 350z. Was told a couple weeks he'd have one to us, took 9 months. Finally got it, torque converter laying on the pallet out of the transmission with a broken bolt from where the converter strap was. Put it in, tried programming it, it's for the previous models and can't be programmed. Sent him the original valve body, said he'd have it out that week. 4 months later, no valve body and will no longer communicate with me whatsoever. So I'm now stuck with a "built" transmsiion and converter that are paperweight now and a car that would still at least move around with the old transmssion. But now neither transmssion has a valve body. $4500 and almost 2 years wasted because of this guy and his poor workmanship. I'd definitely recommend looking somewhere else to have anything done by this company. read more

Forgot to write this real time, worst company I've ever dealt with. Paid for an EVO turbo kit in April 2021 with an estimated 4-5 week lead time. After months of lies the parts eventually did show up, fitment is mediocre at best, needed modifications to fit right, turbo manifold had an exhaust leak from a not finished weld. Since he couldn't "find" the turbo I wanted he was supposed to refund me the money to buy it myself which I had no problem finding however after refunding me some money he stopped all contact stoll owes me 600 hundred bucks. I wish I could give negative stars. morale of the story is find literally any other company to do buisness with. read more

I just installed the stage 2 Porsche headers on my 944 turbo. Was a bit apprehensive. Talked to the owner Tim. He assured me the fit and quality was second to none. So I pulled the trigger. He told me 4-6 weeks before they ship. They showed up right on the last day of four weeks. So technically a week early. I was super excited. I took them to the mechanic to have them installed. They don't workwith aftermarket stuff much. Had a little issue. Told them to call Speedforce. They did and the next day they were calling me to pick up my car. This is a very bad shop and Tim will lie to every step of the way. I had taken my porsche 968 to a few other shops locally in NC. I found speedforce racing after talking to Tim I decided to send my car to CAL for Tim to work on it. The car hauler picked up my car and delivered it to Tim in CAL in November 2020. I had paid Tim 25 k of 30 ik to buy fab parts etc. I asked if it was possible to get my car back before the end of the year and Tim said sure no problem. Well it was really was a problem He seaid he couldnt make that date after all. Ok not that big of a deal I asked what the normal turnaround time was and Tim said 30 to 45 days. I thought well we missed one date so it should be done any day now. Well I was wrong again. Tim would lie to me every week when i would check in every Thursday or Friday. Every time he would assure that it was headed to the dyno every week. Every week Tim would not communicate after telling me that he would call me back in a few days he never called back I would have to call back.I asked Tim what is a realistic date for him to get my car done and he said END OF August for sure. well not even close and no call from him I had to call. He said he had a death in the family and I was understanding and he said he needed two day to get that squared away. well every week we go through the same thing he says its almost done and almost headed to the dyno. I was getting worried about the car as I have not seen it in almost a year now. I just asked for a quick video to show me all the things i paid for ETC. He did not send a picture or a video. I am wandering if my car was wrecked stolen or a dozen other things I could only immagine. So its OCT 15 almost a year and Tim will not answer his phone.I have al the text from me to him and from him to me I can show every one this shop does not deserve your buisness. read more

These guys do awesome fabrication and can do anything from simple from welding to a full custom turbo kit. One of the very few shops I trust bringing in my turbo g since they do a lot of work on Z and g's. Another plus is their pricing good vs a lot of performance shops. I was recommended by a friend to have my catalytic converter changed out. Over the phone the manager (Tim) says that it will take 2 hours of work @80.00 and hour. Everything was fine as far as the initial price. I take my car into the shop and after everything was done, I see the receipt and it shows that 2 hours of work was at 125.00 an hour costing me 250.00 instead of the 160.00 as he quoted me over the phone, not to mention they didn't instal a specific part that was suppose to be attached. I asked him about the price and he said he didn't recall. I know the guy was trying to make an extra buck off me. I definitely won't be going back to that shop, ever! Car shops are the worst. If I could give it Zero stars I would! One of the worst shops I've ever delt with! Was promised a good color match, big fail, on top of that they sent me the wrong part! Waited months for them to re make the correct part and they never sent it! So I was promised a refund ( sent back the wrong part which I had to pay to send) and I have not received my refund. I keep getting the run around and now I am forced to take legal action. Don't ever do business with this theif. read more

Terrible place to have your car fixed. I got my turbo installed and it took over 1 month to finish. They did such a shitty job that less than six months later I had to have a full engine rebuild which would eventually cost me over 7 grand. I paid Tim over 3 grand for a job horrendously done. They've had my buddies car for over a year and it's still not done with no eta in sight. Avoid at all cost. read more
