Speedmates did an excellent job repairing my Samsung refrigerator. The heating defrost element failed which caused an ice build up to block the cooling vents into the refrigerator. The deployment is an engineering flaw. Tim replaced the part and actually made a slight modification to prevent the issue from happening again. My refridgerator was leaking water. I called Speedmates as they are open on Sundays. The technician, Paul, arrived at my house within the time frame quoted. He was professional and fast! He performed some tests on the refridgerator but having to take the freezer section out completely. He concluded that the main board was the issue. (He reassembled the freezer) He ordered the part needed, it came in and he installed within 10 minutes! My refridgerator works just as new! I have already recommended Speedmates to a couple of friends needing appliance repair. Should I need an appliance repair again, I will call Speedmates! read more

I contacted these guys because of there reviews. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR SEVERAL REASONS!!! The reviews must be from friends. They showed up over a hour late with no courtesy calls or apologies once he arrived. I called before he arrived and was told he would be there in 15 minutes. Walked up to my washer and says immediately it's a drain pump. He drained the water with one of my buckets. Didn't look much further into anything else to do with my washer. I hoped he could do the repair that day but he said he wouldnt be doing any repairs today he has to order the part and that would take 2 days but needed the payment of $79 for the house call. He was there about 10 minutes 15 minutes max. He quoted me $199.99 for the part and almost $300 for the labor. As soon as he left i called GE the makers of my washer and dryer and they quoted me a price of $66.00 for the part. I called them and told them they said send them the part to make sure it was good and they could do the repair. Nobody ever called or got back to me. I called another service and there installing the pump for me for $190. This service is highly recommended and if they do a good job when they do my repair i will be giving them a Yelp review. However these guys need better customer service. Better punctuality. And more reasonable pricing. UPDATE: Today i received a call from an employee. They said they seen the review and wanted to rectify the situation. This person expressed deep remorse for me being unhappy. And offered to reimburse me my service fee. Also offered me a free service call as well. I want to express that my dissatisfaction did not come directly at the person that provided me with service. Im appreciative however that the person that provided me with the service wanted to make it right. I would like to change my star rating because of the willingness to make the situation right after the fact. read more

Picture this: Thanksgiving Day, 2023. My wife put the prepared turkey in the oven, and the oven was dead! What timing. Speedmates has been great before, but this was a miracle! I called and somebody answered-- on a busy holiday. They had somebody here in 15 minutes to replace the igniter on our Kenmore oven. I'd give this company six stars if I could.
