After finding out my loss of power and check engine light problem was due to my Catalytic Converter being clogged and failing. Then the cost to replace it was going to run $1200+. I had to find another solution. So I yelped muffler shops and found Speedway Muffler. Ricky and Brian hooked me up with a new Cat and my problems have been solved. During the replacement Ricky showed me the problem with the original Cat and then showed me the finished product installed. Brian finished the deal by clearing my codes. Can't be happier with the service and it cost under $500! Speedway in Rancho Cucamonga is a "Win Win" for all your muffler needs. Thanks guys! read more

They installed a cat-back Exhaust I bought for my 1988 Camaro and they were very professional and communication was on point!! Called the day before and got a quote and I showed up the next morning and was told to leave the car and they would call me when it was ready and when I got called they it was ready I was informed that I had a couple of exhaust leaks and they recommended that they be fixed and welded and I said yes and they went ahead and took care of it!! Definitely recommend this shop!!!!! I will be referring all of my friends to come to this shop for any exhaust work that needs to be done on their cars!!! Best exhaust shop around!!! read more

Good guy over here at speedway muffler! There is no job too small for Ricky. I stopped by in the morning with my stock mufflers (replaced by my Borla system shop had also installed 2 years ago) and asked Ricky to cut off the hangers for another project I was working on. If you're reading this review and want the quick answer...stop reading, call Ricky @ Speedway muffler RC and schedule your appointment...NOW. If you want the full story, read below: Speedway muffler and Ricky the owner along with his team are the only exhaust shop you need to know or use. From custom applications to diagnosis, etc, these dudes know what they're doing...plain and simple. I had a custom dual valved exhausts and tips I wanted installed asap (to run with my Audi S7 4.0 v8tt w/stage1 e85 tune) and he was able to squeeze me in next day in the morning. That being said he did me a favor squeezing me in, so he was handling other business as expected during my install. Can't hate or complain one cent, the man did me a huge favor fitting me into his schedule. Ricky is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. To start, they made sure my expensive discontinued Work VS-TX Wheels didnt get rash when pulling onto the rack. He then managed to fab up new 3" elbows to the new valved mufflers, trimmed tube lengths, and fab sleeves to attach the new tips up. I'm sure I'm not explaining the amount of fab work the install took, but he managed to do it all in just a few hours. He even made sure to check for exhaust leaks on his welds at the end when all was buttoned up. He also did other minor adjustments to help the overall well being of my vehicle too, even without my knowledge, now thats the ethics/values/honesty in business that isnt common anymore these days... Basically my exhaust was rubbing/tinging against a cross bar, so he lifted the exhaust tubing to keep them from contacting. He did this just because it was the right thing to do...Just remember these guys are ALWAYS busy because they are the pros and do great work and are great guys... Also, please remember to be reasonable with your expectations and you will be more than fine...Remember this is an exhaust shop...dont be that person who expects a 5 star salon waiting room with massage chairs and cucumber iced water and flower scented air fresheners or some sh*t while you wait for Ricky to work on your vehicle. Just don't be that person... Thanks Ricky and team for the great install, I'll be back soon to remove my 2ndary cats...Cheers! read more

Needed to get my muffler fixed and looked up muffler shops in Rancho Cucamonga and Speedway Muffler was the first one to show up. I called them and they said to come on in. This was my 2nd visit to speedway muffler. Two separate things I needed done. I dealt with David the owner both times and had a great experience both times. David quoted me 2 months ago on the work I got done today and when I showed up today the price was the same. I brought new mufflers in for my 1990 foxbody mustang and the rest was done custom by David including adding an x-pipe for the mid section. Looks and sounds better then I expected. Any of the negative post I read must be from people that are just never happy with anything. Definitely recommend David and Speedway Mufflers for your next exhaust needs. read more

I went to this location yesterday because I had thought I sprung an exhaust leak. Turned out that the bolt that connects my header to my cat fell off. Rather than make up something extravagant that went wrong considering I expected the worse, the gentlemen showed me what had happened and took care of it. I was extremely thankful the gentleman was an honest mechanic. I recommend this place to those needing muffler work. Honesty is pretty scarce sometimes. Awesome Shop! I had went early in the morning right when they opened no rush at all, went to get my muffler taken off on my 21 BMW. Took there time which is very much appreciated, welds and pipes looked great. You get what you pay for and honestly speaking they did a great job for a great price. After hearing nothing all morning, I called at 1:00 PM to check on the status only to be told that they would not be able to get around to it today because the installer left early. This is completely unacceptable. If you book an appointment weeks out and drop your vehicle off on time, there should be clear communication and realistic scheduling. Waiting until the customer calls hours later to say the job won't be done shows a lack of respect for people's time. I called Valley Truck Specialties and spoke with Roy. We talked about what my typical use for my F-150 Lightning (5'7" bed) would see on an infrequent basis - nothing heavy duty, just full sheets of plywood, 2x4s, some pea gravel, etc. Roy didn't have a single negative thing to say about other comparable spray-in bed liners. His point was to simply educate me on what I would consider to be the best suit for MY needs in protecting my truck bed. Valley Truck had my business at that point. On my appointment day, I met with Troy and I asked him regarding the specifics on what the Bullet Liner coverage would look like and what was involved with regards to the removal of non-coated items in the truck bed. Troy went over all the details with me as he called out areas in my truck bed that would see coverage, what would be pulled/masked off that should not be sprayed, and even the reasons for why certain things would be elected to be kept bare, such as the bed bolts. Now, I've spoken with others and have had the personal experience of seeing a multitude of different truck bed lining treatments - all I can say is, Troy is representative of a professional with an attention to detail skill set and someone who takes pride in their craft. That attention to detail showed and the result was an ultra-clean and well-laid out coverage throughout the F-150's bed. Best of all, it's not super-abrasive, but definitely has a gripping surface with a hardness that can obviously take a beating. I'm really pleased with the result. If you're looking to save some skin on those knees when kneeling down in your truck bed and you're looking for a very competitively priced spray-in bedliner that is hard as nails, this is the way to go! The service, quality, and staff here are second to none which is why I come back. I returned with an RX7 for AIR 80 all around for the heat rejection and full visibility. My Type R has IRX 35% all around including windshield and looks super dark since the interior absorbs a lot of light. However, I included an interior shot to show how QUALITY tint is supposed to look regardless of the darkness (I can see easily at night). Time and time again I hear people try to penny pinch and get better deals elsewhere for worse product but Sage and their line of tints speak for themselves. You get what you pay for. Is it worth the money? Most definitely. Is the heat rejection that much better? Yes I'll be back again for my next car!

ive got to say i didnt know about this place until my friends told me about it and i had multiple friends tell me this was the place to go because they took multiple vehicles here and had great experiences everytime. so when it was time for me to finally upgrade to true duals and my mercury grand marquis with dual 40 series flowmasters to give that true muscle car sound i came to this speedway muffler. i was not disappointed. turns out it is a father son operation and they have been doing it the majority of their lives and know everything there is about muffler systems. i came in and needed to replace my o2 sensors and who ever did my exhaust before had the catalyctic on side ways pinning the o2 sensory to my frame so it could not be replaced. they helped turn my cat and put in the o2 sensor re threaded the hole so it fit perfect and did a complete custom 2 and 3/4 inch piping all the way through to my dual 40s and the same out with chrome tips that both look and sound amazing. i had asked what they would suggest for my car and they were knowledgeable in their answers and gave me an honest price that beat everyone else i was looking into. plus i didnt need to leave my car there and wait a long time to have it done. they both got to work on my car and while i waited i went inside to play pool in their billiards room for free. thats what im talking about. i played only a couple games and they were almost done. they were flying through the professionally custom bent piping and the welds look amazing. thanks to them my car sounds like the muscle car it should sound like and i felt the horses to the wheels when i left. another great thing is that they give a lifetime warranty on their work and thats great when sometimes you hit that one driveway and it ruins your tail pipe because you come back and they dont charge you to fix it. i love this place. ill be back again for some boom tubes and for my next car. thanks guys. read more

Awesome experience! I called Speedway Muffler in Rancho Cucamonga about a catalytic converter for my PT Cruiser. Dave, the owner, told me to call Napa Auto Parts and buy the catalytic converter from them. Dave said he had sold them for over 35 years, but because of the new requirements, muffler shops would have to have $60,000 in inventory, compared to years past when $2,500 in inventory would cover the same cars, so muffler shops no longer carry them in stock. Cars and trucks '95 and newer, I am told, must have a test group number or family group number, along with the make, model, year, and engine size. That information is located under the hood on a white sticker. Without those numbers, you will not get the proper part. Dave said after I purchased the part, he would install it for $60! The dealer wanted over $650 for the catalytic converter, Napa's price was $229. I saved so much money!! Dave explained, don't be fooled by other muffler shops. They will say they have it in stock, keep your car all day, they will pick the part up at Napa or some other parts warehouse, charge you an additional $150, and also charge you to install the part. Awesome experience overall! Going to Vegas with the extra SAVED $400! Thanks Dave! read more

I'm not really sure why Jon S. is so flustered. For a guy driving a Smart car you would think he would be used to getting laughed at. His grammar is so bad I can't even decipher what happen. Obviously a miscommunication took place... Speedway Muffler in Rancho Cucamonga on 8th street is the most legitimate exhaust shop in the area. I took a V8 Mustang there a few years back and they did a dual set of Flowmasters that looked and sounded amazing! Yesterday I took a friend's Honda that they just bought used with a typical wannabe fast n' furious fart can muffler loosely attached and in disrepair. We told the guys at Speedway that we needed the car's exhaust to be put back to stock-like specifications, including a new muffler and resonator. I didn't expect how perfect the results would be! Even when parked next to the same make and model it is almost impossible to tell that the new exhaust installed by speedway is not the factory OEM exhaust! As for the long haired guy, he is very nice. He put a movie on for us in the waiting room before he started working on the car. When it comes to welding these guys are the real deal and very professional! read more

Business Travel from Northern California and staying at Ontario Airport Hotel & Conference Center & Cat snagged. Because 4 wheel drive the little slime balls are in and out in 5-10 minutes. I didn't have a option to shop, I made a call, they made a call, I'm out. With alarm, with security so they say, even if you see these biatches steal your Cat, what are you gonna do. I know what I could do..... Mag dump dispatch W/prejudice, but no lethal threat, no lethal force. Now your clean self-defense exercise goes to 187 by muscle reflex. Options?? Run the little basturds over, that's legal, accidentally of course, whoopsie, sorry biatcha. Speedway Muffler is Simple, effective, right. I took my car to Speedway Muffler over ten years ago, the exhaust system these guy's installed is still like new. I had to pay a little extra due to labor it took to properly shape and mount the exhaust system. I never had any problems with the installation or the product. It's been excellent for over a decade, this professionalism is natural to these Gents. Their customer service was flawless, identical to their labor performance. I would only take my business elsewhere, if these guys recommended it. Other than that if Speedway Muffler tackles any job I bring them, I would gladly pay double whatever Speedway Muffler billed me because I know it's worth every penny also I know the job will be done correct. I went to Speedway in Rancho Cucamonga. The owner Dave put the car on the lift andasked why do you think you need one. I told him the other muffler shop told me it was broken inside and that's why it's rattling. They told me it would cost around $400.00. I talked it over with my dad who said to go see Dave at Speedway in Rancho. It turns out the heat shield was loose and it only needed a tack weld to fix it. Dave put a weld on it in minutes and didn't charge me anything. I didn't know that kind of honesty existed. I cannot begin to express my appreciation for him saving me $400.00. I had a muffler and tip installed on my Magnum, and I couldn't ask for better service, after explaining to me my options he offered to mount the muffler so I could hear the tone before making my final decision. I really appreciate the 'old school' professionalism. I have had several exhaust mods installed over the years and this was by far the best\easiest experience to date, I won't be going anywhere else, and to top it off he had me in and out in about 35 minutes. read more
