I don't like how Starbucks has gone to all disposable all the time. They generate so much garbage destined for the oceans. I don't like how they treat employees like disposable plastic. This SB has good service, good workers, but it doesn't make up for the excessively high prices and lack of environmental responsibility. As I write this I spent a couple of weeks in Europe where espresso is a buck fifty, always made fresh and fresh ground, into proper ceramic espresso cups and saucers and all the workers have full free Healthcare, living wages, and a months paid vacation. I also am not expected to tip (they get paid a living wage). The seating here is mainly for individuals here to get sone work or reading done, it doesn't have the space for friends to chat it up in groups as much as other SBs. Good WiFi. read more

I've been to this Starbucks location well over 10 times. There used to be older women working this store and now they have a group of young girls and I swear they keep trying to rip me off. I order the same drink at over 12 different stores I visit depending on where I'm working. This last and third time they tried to charge me over over $4 for a drink that is around $3.50 everywhere but that store. I understand that the tax rate is different everywhere but I have two sons that both worked 2 different stores for years and they tell me they are not running it proper. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Keep driving people DO NOT STOP at this location! There is a girl at the drive up window...RUDE AS HELL!!! I can see her working at this window for the duration of her life. First, she says at the window (SERIOUSLY) "what, I can't hear you, what do you want"? Ok, no problem, maybe she isn't aware of her behavior. I get to the window, she ACTUALLY says, "sorry ma'am, I can't reach that"...this rude woman actually told me she couldn't reach my money. Keep in mind she was standing far back and, this is a drive up window, try leaning in dingbat! I attempted to throw the money into the window but she missed two times; no problem, I attempted to throw more money, it landed...yay!!! This was so inappropriate on so many levels. Now, keep in mind she continued this madness. She gave me my change back and says, I can't reach you. I'm so done. If I were not on a break from work, I think I would have gone into that Starbucks and I have no idea what would have happened to that young lady. This was around 12 noon, she had weird curly kinda hair and, slim. She was the absolute rudest person I'd ever encountered at a drive up window. There is typically an older woman with darker hair at the window, she's absolutely courteous. IGNORE ALL GRAMMAR and TYPOs but, I must get back to work but, I wanted to share my experience. One of the best Starbucks I've been too, definitely better coffee and service than the Starbucks back home. I visited this store on Christmas Day as I heard they were open on this day and since I am not from the area I had nothing more to do than to get my caffeine fix. Apparently according to the app this is the nearest Starbucks to Zion so I made my 6.5 mile journey to this one. OVERALL: Great coffee and service, ONLY CON was that the store closed at 4pm and it being Christmas Day it's understandable however my Starbucks app said they would close at 10pm. I go to two locations, including this one, but the other one knows me. I came in here already having a bad day, kid in the hospital, lost my wallet, and I ordered my usual hot chai tea latte extra whip & cinnamon. Being that I lost my wallet I was try to "redeem stars" for the first time as I wasn't even able m to reload my starbucks account. I came up a few stars short, and this sweet girl who was taking my order helped me out and simply said, "I hope your day gets better". I lost it right there. I started crying. You don't really hear of the goodwill of people towards others anymore. I was baffled. And never felt so grateful. I hate describing people by the way they look, it seems rude, but she was of a shorter stature, and had glasses, and short lavender &baby pink hair. I believe her name was Hannah. And she flipped a really, extremely terrible day I was going through, into one where I was now looking at the positive possibilities for my child and myself. I work in the customer service industry as well, and people don't realize a simple gesture of goodness such as this, and a smile goes a really long way. That's what service is. It's not that she even helped me out with my order, but rather she could tell I wasn't doing so good and said she hoped my day gets better along with a sincere smile, that I will be coming back. I also want to say Alex and Maureen(spelling) have been great every time I go there too. Maureen is always in a sincerely happy mood & calls me by my name not my order, which I think is way more respectful. And Alex is always smiling & dancing, ensuring everyone of the guests are off to a great start before they head to work. You can tell this isn't just a paycheck to them, but rather they actually care about what they do and who they do it for. That's how customer service anywhere should be. There's one conveniently located about a block away from my workplace that I choose to visit whenever I'm in town for work or when I'm in town visiting co-workers. Today, it wasn't a good experience our Barista Abby was horrible. She wasn't friendly in the least and gave me a stale Lemon Loaf not once but twice. So I was given a 16oz Tumbler gift from Starbucks. I get a Tall Bold each and every time during my visit and take advantage of the free refill because I have a "gold" card. This morning I am heading out to golf and swing by at this Starbucks. The barista (bald w/ glasses) comes to counter and takes my order. I ask for a Tall Bold. He looks at the tumbler and says this is a venti size. And I said, I want a tall drink. He is puzzled and says, Ok. He pours the coffee and asks this is enough. I don't know. I love this Starbucks and go there 3 times a day. I really love the staff. They usually know what I want and have it ready as soon as they see me pull up. Many of the poor reviews seem to be due to the ignorance of the reviewers themselves. Hold your meetings at your office and do your homework at home instead of taking up space for 5 hours to use the free wifi while you nurse one cup of coffee. They are baristas not mind readers. Know what you want when you approach the register. These people are super nice and I love every one of them. I always mark a car in the drive thru to see how it works out. They seem to prioritize the drive thru over the bar. I had 5 people in front of me when I went in and let's just say the 10th car in the drive thru left 10 minutes before I did. Management needs to organize employees better. I have been to this locations several times only to be disappointed yet again. Drive through at 10:00 am on Sunday morning was sincerely horrific! I was trapped in line for 20 minutes, with no way to escape, to get one drink. The drink was perfect but the service was astounding poor as usual. I made a comment to the cashier that I was in line for 20 minutes only to be told "sorry!" I don' ever take drink receipts as I chose the drive through but this one should have been offered! I don't go to coffee shops to do homework much, but I would definitely come back here. Nice clean tables, friendly staff, and blazing fast free Wi-Fi. At ither locations they will do it for you. She hands me my food and then I wait for my receipt. During this wait she says my drink and I was like "yes?" Because I thought she was verifying that she already gave it to me. So this idiot turns her back to me for a good three minites then attempts to hand me another drink. I come to this Starbucks every other day. I'm a "Gold" member (meaning I spend entirely too much money on coffee) Anyway, in the mornings around 7:15am during the week the staff on hand is great. Always gets my order right, greets me with a good morning and have a great day. Amazing with recommendations. Try same time on a Saturday or mid day any day of the week and honestly, if it wasn't for the great customer service I received through out the week during my normal visiting hours, I would never come here. Staff doesn't know what's going on, can't offer any recommendations on new products that are popular, I received an "ummm idk" response once when asking about a new pastry. (Really?) They seem very flustered and confused when busy, lazy, chatty, and complaining about their hours when not. (All in front of and while with customers) I always have to ask for more cream in my coffee because they give me a drop in a venti so it's still dark, order taking etiquette is not up to par (I use to manage a drive thru, what I experience here was NEVER tolerated) they put so much ice in the glass that the coffee spills over and they don't bother wiping it off. Handing me my drink with coffee all over the cup and their hands. It's just ridiculous and disgusting. Im a business owner also so I like to come here with my partners for meetings but if the mid day staff doesn't shape up, I'm going to have to go else where. I love Starbucks and felt that it was only fair to try this terrible location out multiple time to ensure that, in fact, they suck. This is my normal Starbucks and I always get the best service. The only down fall is its drive through is always busy!! So if you are looking for a quick coffee fix don't get stuck in the drive through. Just go in and enjoy the atmosphere. Seems to me when people are paying 5+ dollars for a drink the manager of the shift should be running to Jewel to replenish the ice.
