Considering how much my son loves shrimp. This place is a great quick option for shrimp tacos. I also ordered rice and beans from them. We got pineapple jarritos drink as well. They had a convenient drive thru. The service was pretty fast and we got our food quickly. We have dined there before as well and it's a casual fast food kind of place for burritos, tacos etc. There are a few options in that plaza where this is at but I would recommend them versus other places. read more

I've been to Speedy Burrito about four times now, and the quesobirria tacos is the reason I keep coming back. The meat is incredibly tender and full of flavor it's so good every time. I also love that they have a drive-through, which makes it super convenient when you don't feel like going inside. When you do go in, the ambiance is very casual and laid-back, perfect for a quick bite. Service at the window has always been great.. fast and friendly. Placed an online order at 6:05. Very simple order. Just a handful of tacos and an order of churros. Was told to arrive at 6:25 pm for a ready pickup. We order take out about every other week and generally the food is pretty good. I recently ordered a bean burrito and found a chunk of meat inside...I'm a vegetarian. I contacted the restaurant, but have yet to hear back. I know accidents happen, but as a vegetarian it was pretty gross. read more

I'm trying to catch up on the to go orders I picked up from various restaurants as I tend to be on the go and don't get a picture and kind of forget about it. I stopped by here and got a few tacos and a couple of burritos and they had some great choices on hot sauce, and I like it hot and they have it! looking for the best street tacos around and cravings if I am in the area and I was finishing a job and stop by and grab some tacos to go for me and my buddy and burritos and we ate it all!! Good value and I actually got it pretty quick. They do have a fee for pick up which was weird, but it was only a dollar and in the world today of restaurants I understand. Even on to go orders somebody must put the order together in a bag complete with utensils so I don't mind the fee if they keep the restaurant open and I always still tip 20% on to go orders. If we're going to keep these restaurants open, we have to make sure the workforce can get paid to stay there rather than make $21 an hour and go to McDonald's which I won't go to anyway but restaurants are struggling. Very generous with the meat portion in tacos. The amount of meat in the burrito was disappointing. The tortilla lacked taste and texture was off. The highlight was the salsa. There is a salsa bar inside and it's self serve. The spicy salsa had heat and had depths of flavor. Service was quick and they do have drive thru. Staff is friendly and welcoming. We had 4 assorted burritos, 1kids burritos (big enough for a small appetite), 2 fish tacos, and 1 chicken tortillas soup. So this is a place I get excited about coming to, until today. Be consistent with your customer service and the ordering process. I order the same exact thing every week--crane asada nachos, pickled jalapeños, chopped onions, cilantro and sour cream. It's usually 13 and some change. Today the drive thru person decides to force their opinion on me and their order. Even though when I order it their way it comes out wrong!! And then when we get to the window there's no apology but a demand that we should have asked for someone else. Learn how to train your associates on getting what the customer asked for vs debating them. Something that could have been as easily fixed with a price and a thank you was then argued at the window only for my order to be made correctly by a seasoned associate that remembered my mom. They did give us two tacos to apologize, I think it was an apology. Also I asked for sour cream not refried beans!!! So it's 14 dollars wasted as they were hidden under the meat and I can't have BEANS--this is some bull$::t read more

I must say, when I came to this place for the first time, I wasn't really hungry, but I knew I needed to eat. I opted for a kids nachos with just steak and cheese and no other fixings. So, I would try it out. The order: I placed my order and they had it to my table within 2 minutes. I'm like ok. I had to find out where all of their sauces were and they directed me to this little mini bar with any type of sauces you wanted. As I don't eat really spicy like I used to, I opted for one much lighter but it was really good! It sneaks up on you, the spiciness does. My drink: I came in for a second time and didn't realize they had all of these other fruit drinks, Pineapple being the bomb one that I love. On the good side, you can drink all you want to while you're there while others will charge you $3.50 per cup so that was a plus. My second day: Today I went in to try the tacos after I came from having blood work done. So I ordered 2 steak tacos and had the large pineapple drink and it was perfect for me. The tacos were really good I might add. They had onions and parsley on them which I rather parsley than cilantro. It seems like all of the Mexican restaurants are making their queso so thin and runny. I love it when it's thick where you can really taste the cheese. But here, the queso is thin and somewhat runny, that's the reason for the 4 stars. Other than that, if the cheese was much thicker, I really would have enjoyed that. So, give this place a chance, it's not bad at all really. I enjoyed it. Just wished the queso was much thicker. read more

Food is good but don't let the name fool you, they are very slow! I was going to order online and pick it up but I was put off by the pickup fee. If you order online there's an additional $1 internet fee and $1.29 fee to walk in and pick up the food. It's not a lot of money but still a BS fee that irritated me (like everyone asking for a tip these days) You have to put your foot down somewhere! But like I said the food is good. read more

Ordered through the drive thru, asked for the nachos and the guy on the intercom asked "carne asada" and I clarified that I wanted chicken. Go to the window and they gave me carne asada. First visit and it was excellent! Tried a carne asada taco and an al pastor taco. Both were outstanding! The salsa bar is definitely a plus and the chips and salsa were great! Love the crispy texture of the chips. Will definitely be back to try other things, including the desserts. read more

It's not a bad restaurant and it has some unique options but it's overall pricing per portion does not make it a good pick. We like it! You order at the counter and then be seated. They find you with all of your selected treats! There is the standard drink machine and they also have a pineapple drink, horchata and some other fruity drink that was tasty. It didn't take long for our food but it was also clear that it was cooked to order. It was hot and tasty. We tried chorizo tacos and carnitas. There is a patio with some sun shades if you want to be outside, otherwise the interior is clean and comfy. The nice lady that took our order was helpful, explaining something on the menu that we weren't familiar with. Alas, I did not snap any photos this time! We will be back! read more
