I had a terrible experience there this morning attempting to cash a cashier's check. I was underpaid by a previous employer and for the past 6 months they've paid me in cashier's checks. I've cashed them at this particular location. varying amounts ranging from $1,500 to $200. Today I go to cash the final payment and am told that it's a high risk check. They cant verify the validity. A regional manager has to be contacted to approval and may require a hold of funds before doing so. why would that be....hasn't been necessary before. This last one was less then the initial cashier's check which they approved without issue. I went there on almost an empty tank of gas thinking thank God I made it, just to be turned away un satisfied. I will never return read more

Brandon ( manager ) and Desiree( employee ) are very rude and unprofessional. If you're not able to continue with loan they will hold on to your application with all your personal info until you threaten to contact higher management. Then they will return it. They were pushing and actually without my knowledge made me an online account. They constantly lied. These people don't seem trustworthy one bit. I would recommend staying away. read more

I called to set up a payment arrangement because of the covid-19 postponing my work schedule , IVETTE Lied to me and said she couldn't do anything about the payment and that I would have to wait until they put me in debt collections in order to set up payment arrangements . Dont cash a check there,they are so stupid. I went to cash a check for 200 bucks, they would not cash it due to the I file for bankruptcy in 2006 on them really and it is dismissed. I been a customer since 2011 and let me tell you when you have to get in contact with financial services on the phone, they are very disrespectful. As for the in store representatives, they jump how many days they want to give you an extension based on how they feel. There is never enough people at a window and if you see many people, only 2 of them are assisting customers. However, there is always a sign on the window "NOW HIRING." You would think being a customer that long, I would see a change and that's a lie. People go there for financial assistance and Speedy cash is another company that does not care. Speedy cash taught me 1 thing and that is to balance my money the right way, so you don't get treated unfairly like they do. Speedy cash at this location use to be customer friendly. I have dealt with other places similar but was not satisfied with their customer service so I continued my business over a 10yr period on and off with Speedy.(Before the started selling electronics, furniture etc). So to my surprise good things don't last forever although majority of the staff is still working there. Was driving looking for a Money Gram and noticed this location had money gram in the window so I went in and it was about 2 people in line so I noticed once they helped the two customers in front of me all of the tellers was available talking standing enjoying life ......I was like I guess waiting patiently with no one else waiting I don't know maybe it was break time for everyone .....So I stood and watched as they chatted and I'm thinking any day now they'll stop babbling and help so anyway 10 min later I was called up and I was trying to ask a few questions and I was rudely cut off......fill this out first! With attitude OKKKKK so anyway why do I need to fill this form out for asking a question??? so I went and filled the form out and returned and another rude clerk in the window name Veronica with a bad attitude and also very rude and was looking a hot ass mess.... im like hell No! I'm like really 3 rude ass clerks I guess it was about 8:00pm and they was winding down and turned into Lil Angry Birds when it was almost time to go home.
