I've cashed them at this particular location. varying amounts ranging from $1,500 to $200. Today I go to cash the final payment and am told that it's a high risk check. They cant verify the validity. A regional manager has to be contacted to approval and may require a hold of funds before doing so. why would that be....hasn't been necessary before. This last one was less then the initial cashier's check which they approved without issue. I went there on almost an empty tank of gas thinking thank God I made it, just to be turned away un satisfied. I will never return

I provide him the number to verify the check and no answer. So I leave and come back to let my dad know they're calling him to verify the check because he was sleeping. This time I'm being helped by the supervisor or manager forgot his name some guy with a lot of grey hair. He's doing all the typing and then he tells me he can't cash it because the address on the check and my address are the same. They wouldn't cash it even though they had all the information and the phone number to verify it everything they said they want me to leave the check there and try to verify it within three days business days no, thank you!!! This person, the "Account Manager" recited in a monotone voice, as though she were reading, the requirements for consideration to be approved. Her expressionless face was robotic. No friendly customer service from this store! Additionally, Orange Rocket needs to get with it in terms of required documentation for approval. They don't accept online banking proof, only paper bank statements. Furthermore, after questioning the applicant, and replying yes to other outstanding loans, they don't bother to find out other loan balances. Will not be returning to this or the other location much less the other location in Compton. Overall, quite an unpleasant experience. Will not be returning to this company, regardless of the location.
