I did get a tin of bustelo coffee, some stuffed dates and my bff picked up some pints of icecream to give Ft, pistachio, cinnamon & rum raisin. We walked around and enjoyed the breakdown of all the valentine displays. Very exciting! So many hardworking employees here shifting stuff around to make it easy for all of us. So i wanted to share some successes that I experienced today during my trip to your store…read more I was in the mood for a hoagie style sandwich and recalled the numerous social media ads I had seen for $12 sandwiches, so I went to your store for a hoagie when I normally would not, a win to your social media and marketing people. I grabbed my sandwich and sought out help for a side of hot peppers for my sandwich and couldn't find them. I then had the pleasure of meeting Michelle who was in the area (she was near the sushi/pizza area). I explained to Michelle what I was looking for and she stopped what she was doing and enthusiastically helped me with getting some peppers for my sandwich. She was kind, engaging and genuine - so congratulations on your employee screening and training, she's a winner. Lastly, I was a little annoyed about the side lot being tented and closed. When I brought it up to MIchelle she proudly said that it was closed for an employee event and went on to explain how valued your culture has made her and other employees feel. They feel appreciated and that is a win for you as the management team. There are 5 super markets in the area none of which I had an allegiance to until today, thanks to all of your efforts and Michelle.

There is a salad bar where you pay by weight. The salad bar has things like lobster salad, shrimp salad, chicken salad, available in it. Lettuce, cheeses and dressings, but I'm making my own salads so I haven't gotten anything other than lobster salad (good), shrimp salad (meh). The fruits and vegetables in the store all look great. My homemade salads have been amazing! Picked up a rotisserie chicken, lettuce, cheese and dressing options for my many lunch options. There aren't many open cashiers in the evening but the wait is never too long (3 people deep at most). I can pick up my bottled water and sparkling waters and snacks here. Even picked up a delicious slice of cake from the bakery.

Thankfully, I was correct - this store was infinitely better! Lots of bargains to be had. Lots of things that look like bargains but the packaging or quantity is just smaller. You have to be sharp wandering the aisles but that's what makes it fun. They have brand names and generics. The best part is that the stuff you do ostensibly recognize is slightly...off. Like it's a flavor that you haven't seen here in the states but you know the item. Check out the picture of my haul, por ejemplo. We all know Manwich tomato sauce in the can but have you ever heard of BBQ Bourbon flavor?? Well they have it in Mexico and it has made its way to Trenton. Also my apple fritters were in a container labeled pumpkin donuts lololol. If you can get past the idiosyncrasies, you'll enjoy it here and save money!

I am emphasizing this because of the dumb and sour possess that go to work only for their paychecks elsewhere. When you check-out, besides bagging, they offer to walk you to car to load-up. yellow-where do you get THAT ? I have always supported this market. I think that if I was elderly, it would help me to keep my independence. but in these apocalypse times, this grocer has turned good service into necessity. Better than most store is their cultural and local variety which is always fresh and also interesting new items as well as various ethnic flavors. This is only of the few places in the area that you'll find good quality platanos, yuca/cassava, and any kind of tropical fruit. The slight downsides are that the prices are often slightly higher than a regular supermarket, and there never seem to be enough cashiers working.
