I went there to pick up the basics (rice, vegetables, fruit, etc). It is much more than that, I get my Chinese sausage there, too. And each time I go, I figure out something else that I like. Now it is the place I get my Asian condiments, snacks and beer. I am slowly moving up to their meats and fish. I like all of their offerings and will figure out their poultry very soon. It does look good. Everything is clean and well-organized. Service is good and the lines for the cashiers are never long. And now for the pics.

Greetings to all, this is my first review of this location of the Market, let's see how it went:…read more Parking is shared with the other businesses in the same area; this works out well for the market. Inside is a modestly lit atmosphere which works well for what they are trying to achieve. One of the things I most about this market is the fact that you can't tell that they have a fresh meat section until you actually see it;, you know what l mean this , in some markets you smell them before you see them. I also enjoy all of the numerous commodities and fresh vegetables on hand as well. And the Specialty snack goodies. The service is very nice and friendly. Their little sister market down the hill on El Comino could take lessons from them .

Greetings to all who would come to my store located in the SanBruno mini mall:…read more Parking: This location has a shared parking experience which isn't bad, but can be a bit much at times due to the many other shops that use the same parking lot. The interior of the store has made Vast improvements over years, it's like every other year l come inside and the lighting is a bit different or has changed has been upgraded; good on them for this. The interior meat section is very clean and little to no working smells at all. (Fish - Beef ) I really enjoy coming to this location because of the Cleanliness and the abundance of fresh food items l can choose from. Service: the service is great and the customer service is great as well, one of the only things I didn't like was when they removed the Fresh orange juice machine; all else is good. Overall, if you shop in this area, then you already know how many Changes that this store has gone through to become what they are now. Bottom line: l will continue to keep coming back, l Like this location.

We came in looking for some Mulay's meatballs - unfortunately they didn't carry the meatballs here but we purchased some of the brand's italian sausage which was delicious with some baked ziti. We also ended up making impromptu purchases with a couple of boxes of Ted Lasso's "Biscuits with the Boss" that they smartly have placed near the cash registers - the marketing got us. But thankfully, the cookies were very delicious as well.

Since my last review, the prices have been raised for a majority of their sandwiches. Only a couple dollars though. I usually get a chicken breast sandwich on ciabatta roll, and it's mayo, pesto, and veggies. I like to get it toasted for that extra crunch. For $11.99 without cheese, it's a tasty and refreshing sandwich. With the increased pricing, I started to look at their prepared sandwiches, and honestly paying a little extra for a fresh made sandwich is the move (as long as there isn't a huge wait) I recently tried their chicken salad croissant sandwich, got it toasted, and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It was simple, not overly mayo'd, thick pieces of chicken, toasted. Solid quick lunch for $9.99 If you go early enough they have these premade breakfast sandwiches. The chorizo and egg one on the English muffin is my favorite. I've grabbed these on multiple occasions and a perfect sized breakfast for when I'm too lazy to make it myself. The grocery store itself is quite pricey, so I don't buy my regular groceries here. I more-so stick to the deli and one off items that I need.

Unacceptable and Disrespectful Customer Service at Self-Checkout!|…read more I am incredibly upset by the treatment I received at this Safeway location today. I came in to purchase the $1 for 8 ears of corn member special. While using the self-checkout, the attendant on duty hovered over me intensely, making me feel like I was being accused of theft just for buying groceries. The situation escalated when I tried to help a elderly grandfather purchase his own allotment of the corn special. The elderly grandfather has severe mobility issues and was waiting in the car because he cannot walk into the store. When I explained that I was purchasing his portion for him, a staff member named Cynthia intervened and gave me an absolute earful, stating I wasn't allowed to do that. While I understand Safeway has strict member limits, Cynthia handled the entire situation with zero professionalism, compassion, or common sense. Even though she eventually said she would "let" me help the grandfather, her behavior was incredibly petty and demeaning. There was absolutely no one else waiting in line, yet she held onto the corn and forced me to walk all the way around and get back in line. When I asked her for the corn, she wouldn't even hand it to me--she just pointed at it, making me feel like I was being told to "go fetch it." I left the store feeling incredibly disrespected. Enforcing store policy is one thing, but treating paying customers--and an elderly shopper--with such hostility and condescension is unacceptable. Management needs to address Cynthia's customer service attitude immediately.
