Being a NYC/Jersey City local, I tend to shy away from pizza when I'm out of town, because I'm not likely to find as good as I have at home. Well, I am glad we decided to have brunch at Spettro while we were camping nearby because the food was great, awesome wine, and the outdoor seating was the perfect way to enjoy a fall day. The pizza was great and the salad was outstanding. We dined with our dogs and our waitress was so welcoming; the entire staff made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Spettro if you are in the area.

We came here tonight for the first time, made reservations. Highly recommend. Upon walking in we were greeted right away and brought to our table. Was not very happy with the two table options that they had as they were literally next to the folks sitting at the bar so we did decide to get seats along the window facing the street. Our server greeted us right away was very helpful. Got us our drinks. I decided to have "the dawn" which was delicious. For the appetizer we decided to go with the wings. I will give fair notice that I am a wing snob and I was very impressed with these wings. Also, they served it with blue cheese. That was really good. The "buffalo sauce " was left to be desired. Good seasoning on the wings tho. For dinner we shared the Cacio de pepe and pep and pep pizza. Both very good. Highly recommend! Street parking. Looks like they do have tables outside once weather gets nicer. Good vibes overall.

Spettro had great relaxing vibes on a Sunday afternoon for lunchtime. It also had a mixed crowd of different age groups that's why it looked more like a neighborhood favorite. We ordered Bianca pizza and Panelle for the main course. The pizza was good just a little extra ricotta but if you remove a little bit of that it is great. The panelle was interesting but missed little sauces in it. It was a bit dry. For drinks, we ordered westerly winds and peach mint mocktail both were good. I loved the peach mint mocktail. Dessert was a disappointment. We ordered Brioche con gelato and it took 15 minutes to come. When we saw the final product it was just a bun with gelato and strawberries in it. It was such a disappointment.

Super yummy and friendly staff! When the weather is nice they open the doors and it's a lovely atmosphere for lunch or dinner.

Second time dining at Spettro. First was just after opening and I wanted to try them again before reviewing. The interior space is beautiful. Lots of seating by the door, which is chilly in winter but they have a heat air curtain to kind of shield you. Seating is not super well spaced out so it can feel a little cramped in the main dining area with winter coats and such. Food is pretty good. Pretty much just salad, sandwiches, and pizzas. No pasta, which I think is weird. Anyway, the pizza is good. Lots of unique and tasty toppings. Appetizers are not my favorite - pretty basic and not a lot of flavor imo. Skip the fried spaghetti appetizer. It really has no flavor. My favorite pizza so far is the pep and pep. Simple, tasty, little spicy, and very good. The staff are very nice and attentive. Good service. Dessert is pretty good too. The cheesecake is yummy. Gelato is basic. All in all, good dining experience.

We were in town and it happened to also be college move in weekend. We did not think to get a reservation and had been turned away from another spot. And boy am I glad that happened because we came here instead! The manager, hostess and all the staff worked so well together! We were a party of 6 and after about 15 minutes or less we were able to be seated. We had no issues waiting and had a cocktail at the bar. Also amazing staff!! Then we got seated and ate some Felipe's food!! We also got, not pictured, the burrata cheese with peaches! I had the seafood pasta which I ate every single bite. The garlic toast in the white wine sauce was so divine! My sister loved her grilled Cesar salad! My brother said his pork was lacking in flavor some. But was still good. He said the grilled Cesar salad will be his go to! Thank you so much for a delicious family dinner!

The food was really good and the desserts were delicious. I went with a big group and the restaurant was very nice. I got the chicken caesar salad and it was really good, however the chicken was a little bit dry. The service was decent, but the waiter was not very personable. I would go again to try other dishes, but it isn't a place I would go often.

Omg Omg OMG! I think I'm in love! Where to begin? A beautiful building and space. Modern and smartly designed. Lots of large windows, an open kitchen, very nice bar. Plenty of seating. Friendly and attentive staff. Really personable and welcoming. On point. Imaginative cocktails that are well built and super yummy! And the food. Wow! So visually pleasing and so very delicious. I was sad when mine was gone. An absolute must visit! I'm definitely adding Spettro to my go-to list.

Nice place to stop for lunch. The options are pretty standard with pizza and sandwiches on the menu. Everything has its own unique spin. The strawberry salad was a nice hearty portion with fresh ingredients. The chickpea patty sandwich was delicious could have used a sauce on the side. The pizza was also very satisfying with a spicy sausage spread and sesame crust. Our server was helpful in guiding us to what was good. The vibe is great... big open windows, updated decor, clean bathroom.

Nice variety on the cocktail list.

Great addition to the neighborhood. We ate at the counter in front of the open kitchen, ownership on expo touching every plate. Well run on a busy Saturday night. Whatever bumps this new locale are dealing with as a new restaurant are not affecting service. Bartenders before we sat for dinner did a great job tending to a fiesty crowd of diners & waiters. Good job all around...we will return.

Always great food, drinks, and service. Known for pizza but their mains are phenomenal too.

Not impress, too dark and our food was mediocre at best, chairs were cold, service was very poor, expensive and not worth for me.

Lunch was fantastic!…read more My group had a number for recommended appetizers, small plates, and entrees which were all delicious. The Fish and Chips was a center cut golden fried fish with delicious crisp chips. The Post House Road Burger was cooked as desired with a caramelized jam condiment. The Pork Schnitzel was large plate sized pounded expertly fried and tasty. The student service was excellent. Upon speaking with staff about missing out on eating at another CIA restaurant Bocuse, one of the managers, Jessica tried her best to secure my group a reservation but ultimately was able to secure a reservation at another CIA restaurant. Kudos to the staff for the service and going above and beyond! Thanks Jessica!

Had a chai beer with some Parmesan fries and it was a perfect combination since I wasn't that hungry. Would love to go back and have a real meal - the items coming out of the kitchen looked phenomenal. Some but not all of their beers are available at the Egg which is the student center that anyone can eat at as well as other restaurants but the Egg can be spontaneous if you don't have a reservation anywhere.

The chef is a soon to be CIA grad that is making the school proud. Chicken and waffles were done perfectly and the barbeque burger was seasoned in house. Would have preferred something besides celery with this, though, but the burger was really tasty. Definitely for the younger crowd, as is evident by their drink selection. But go for the food. And bring ear plugs.

Decided to check this place out for the first time last night. Walked in and in and first thoughts…read moreare "it's beautiful in here." There were people smoking hookah and just chillin. There are just a couple of things I would want the owner/management team to be mindful of. First, for a run and coke it's like $10.50 which price wise I think is a little high, but that's not what made me annoyed-the cup that my drink was handed to me in was the same cup I rinse my mouth out with at the dentists office. I've never seen such a small cup. Buffalo Wild Wings gives you a large glass for $8. So they definitely overcharge for the size of the drink. Second, I walked into the bathroom and there was a napkin floating in the toilet-ok, maybe someone dropped it accidentally. I sit down and all I smell is urine and come to find out, management must have decided that instead of going to the store quick and buying toilet paper, they'd put napkins in the women's bathroom and the women were using the napkins and throwing them in the garbage which was why the whole room smelled of urine. The toilet was clogged and almost overflowed. I told the guy who I assumed was the owner, and he said he knew and acted as if he didn't care. Probably because they were all high. Literally all they need to do is put a smaller trash can in that little bathroom, plunge the toilet so it works, ensure there's toilet paper and go to the dollar store to get some glassware for your bar. I get it's a new business, but spending $50 so you can have 50 glasses would create a better experience. If they can get it together, I'd consider going back.
