    82. Garlic Naan. Delicious

New place that just opened Great food The remodeling is nicely done with wood work panels. Clean Cheap napkins though. Our waiter was a little slow. BUT at the end to chitchat with us, which was very nice. The ambience was quiet. We were the only people in there and another couple was just leaving.

My wife and I have been meaning to try Pink Garlic for a year or two now and finally decided to try…read moreit yesterday. We both wish we had tried sooner. We agreed that this was the best Indian we've had in the area, by a mile. We ordered the meat samosas, paneer saag, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken biryani, garlic naan, garlic cheese naan, and mango lassi. For two, it was an obscene amount of food, but holy cow was it worth it (it all came out to ~$65). The samosas were crispy, hot, and delicious with excellent seasoning. When we added the mint chutney, it took it to a whole other level. The saag paneer was creamy and flavorful. The chicken tikka masala was spicy, creamy, and delicious, easily the best I've ever had. When the spice started to get to our heads, the mango lassi cooled things off, it was super refreshing. Naan was top tier. We made fried rice and added a fried egg to the biryani this morning and it made an awesome breakfast. 10/10, we will be back as our regular Indian spot!

Not a great experience for our first time at this restaurant. Went during Labor Day weekend when…read moreit was fairly empty. We ordered dinner portions of Pink Garlic Chicken along with Aloo Gobi. Pink Garlic Chicken - While the chicken tasted alright, more on the sweet side, it was served on an appetizer size plate, same size they use to serve their 2 samosa appetizer. We clarified with the waiter if the plate we received was the appetizer portion, which is also on the menu. He clarified it was the dinner portion he put in for our order. We finished it in less than three bites. Quite an expensive dish for $13.99 based on what you receive. Aloo gobi - we ordered the dinner portion and it was also initially served in a small appetizer size bowl with 90% potato and literally one spoonful of cauliflower. Our server was kind enough to take it back to the kitchen and it came back out in a larger serving dish with a normal amount to cauliflower. The taste of this dish was also ok, also on the sweeter side. We left hungry and ended up at another nearby restaurant to complete our dinner for the evening. I recommend asking what size portion you're receiving before finalizing your order to make sure you get enough food especially for the prices they charge.

The food was spectacular--every dish, from the Kadai Paneer, Live Jalebi to the perfectly crisp Chinese / Thai Noodles with Veg, was rich, flavorful, and served piping hot. The team was incredibly accommodating with dietary requests, and the venue's elegant, well-lit ambiance made for a beautiful setting. Nicely decorated, looks newer. Ordered dosa, samosa, Gobi Manchurian, chick pea salad, dal tadka and dal makhani, butter chicken, navratina korma, and Chana masala. $117.56 The Samosa, butter chicken and chick pea salad are all good. The samosa is maybe a bit too heavy and doughy. The potato and peas are mashed inside. The cilantro chutney is good, spicy too. Butter chicken is tasty. The chick pea salad is just fresh and yummy. Dosa was okay, not loving the tomato or coconut chutneys so much. Sambar soup is good. The dal makhani and Chana was not for either of us. Makhani is super buttery and runny. The Chana has a very unexpected taste and look, the sauce it's cooked in is quite brown here. The dal tadka, korma and Gobi were just okay. Both lentils are super runny. The korma isn't too bad. Their version has tofu in it. Sauce is good. Not a lot of veggies to it. Gobi was crispy, but their chili sauce is not so good. My husband usually favors the Chana masala, but he wasn't fond of their version so much. Would skip the Chana, Gobi and the dal makhani and maybe even the dal tadka next time. Service here is good.

A mixed bag...incredible Tikka Masala, but skip the lamb…read more We stopped in for dinner and had two very different experiences with our entrées. The Chicken Tikka Masala was absolute perfection, velvety, creamy, and hit the perfect spice level. The naan was also excellent, fresh and pillowy. However, I was really disappointed with the Lamb Biryani. The meat was unfortunately dry, extremely fatty, and lacked flavor. I'd previously tried the Butter Chicken, which was decent, so there's definitely potential here if you order the right thing. Pros: Massive parking lot and plenty of indoor seating. They have a buffet! (Didn't realize this until we arrived, but a great perk). Food is well-packaged for takeout. Cons: Service over the phone was a bit "prickly" and felt rushed. Pro Tip: Read the menu on DoorDash before ordering; it actually provides much better descriptions of the dishes than their official website or Toast.

We ordered Paneer Masala, Lamb Curry, naan, and lassi to go. The total came out to just under $60, which I expected to be comparable to other similar places I've tried. I'm from California, so this definitely isn't my first experience with ethnic food. I'm very familiar with these flavors and even cook them myself. Unfortunately, the tadka didn't seem to be cooked long enough because the masala tasted more like Campbell's soup than a traditional curry. We didn't finish the food and ended up ordering from somewhere else. I'm glad I tried it, but personally it wasn't my favorite.

I was aching to try some pizza dipped in butter chicken and I had a couple slices left from the other night. In my typically fashion, I ordered quite a bit. We got four main dishes, butter chicken, chicken korma, spinach and cheese (it had a different name than what I was used to), and aloo gobhi. We also got the potato samosas, that also had a different name than what I am familiar with, and their dessert donuts soaked in sugar syrup. We also tried three types of naan, plain, cheese, and potato. The people working here seemed nice. It was a carry-out, so I only interacted for a moment. I also liked the prices compared to other places in the area, they seemed to be a few dollars less per dish, which can make a difference. The portions were also very generous. They gave us so much rice and we already ate the food for two complete meals and there is still a lot left. On the other hand, the food was only okay, not my favorite compared to other places I have been in the past. I feel like it actually tasted better the second day, but all of the dishes had sort of an off taste. The potato samosas almost tasted like they had mayo in it, and their sauce tasted like mustard, neither of those flavors I associate with this type of cooking. The dishes were a bit sweet, as also reported on Yelp. I feel like the star of the show was the potato naan, very good, but the cheese was cheddar and it showed a white cheese online. To be honest, I am not sure I will be back leaning toward a one and done situation.
