This place is a small Iraqi run strip mall restaurant.  It's hard to differentiate amongst the various Middle East ethnic groups, but it's nice to know anyway.  I tried a carryout of their lunch special, which on Tue-Thu from noon-3pm, means their $16.49 lunch goes for $9.49.  I have to go with a "Meh" 2.5 stars that rounds up to 3 stars given the discount.   I had it mixed meat, meaning a mix of chicken and meat.  The container had a lot of white rice covered by a thin layer of meats (container was about 60% full of rice).  The rice was ok, and went well though with the meats which were salty.  There's no pita bread and no sauces, and I'm not sure sauces like Tzatziki are an Iraqi tradition anyway.  The modest lunch was barely ok for $9.49, and definitely not for $16.49.  One and done for me, but best of luck in any event.

What I thought was the Escalope (chicken sandwich) on their site

Had a carry out order here with the family. My wife had stopped by to go pick it up and told me that it was quite busy inside. The staff seemed to be friendly but food did take a little bit for it to be ready. My wife had the shish tawook platter, I had the escalope (their fried chicken sandwich) and the iraqi chicken shawarma sandwich. I'll start off with the escalope. I honestly was not impressed and from the pictures I saw online, I think I got a completely different sandwich. I'll attach pictures for reference but the bun looks different that I got and I had no fries on the sandwich. The rest of the food, my wife and I agreed it was just ok. Was expecting some more flavor. Very interesting that their garlic sauce is in a prepackaged packet but tahini seemes to be in house. Overall ok food in my opinion but the marketing with the boxes are great!

Stopped in for a quick lunch! Not bad, I LOVED the hummus - so delicious. The chicken shawarma was dry and not as tasty. I liked the sandwich with the samoon bread, but it tastes so much better when it's warm. The chicken burger sandwich was much more tasty than the shawarma. Would go back for the hummus!

Spice and fire was legit fire. It's just truly amazing. This place is tiny but mighty, I gotta tell you. It is so easy to miss as it is located in a mini strip mall, but don't let the location fool you. The food makes up for everything that the store front lacks. The decor is cute and clean. It has some influences from the arabic culture but also some nice seating. The place was so clean that I was impressed. We came in and, as you can tell, had a decent amount of food. First off, the portions are generous, so be aware when you order as you will need to go boxes. Second, the ingredients were just the freshest. I may have had the most incredible falafel ever. If you have read my reviews, you know I am a falafel snob. I refuse to eat a soggy falafel, and I will be vocal about it. Well, to put in perspective, I ordered 6, and I wish I could have ordered 12. They were surreal. The eggplant dish was full of flavor, too. I anticipated being warm, but it tasted so good that it didn't make a difference to me. Move over, Pita Inn, there is a new sheriff in town. This place puts all mediterranean joints to shame. Come and visit! Guarantee you will not be disappointed. You honestly might see me there.

My friend and I stopped by for lunch, and the food was delicious! I got the falafel sandwich with fries, and my friend got Spice and Fire Kabob Platter, and she loved it. They give you complimentary lentil soup, which we didn't like - it was bitter. The inside of the restaurant is spotless. Our only complain was that the service wasn't good - when we went it wasn't busy, and the people taking our order kept going back and forth to the kitchen, didn't answer our questions and were rude. If the service were better, I would go back!

They should be ashamed of themselves for calling these full skewer kabobs

First and last time. The worst customer service and the prices and their pictures gallery is misleading. I order 7 beef kabobs and 3 chicken kabobs. I paid over $50 and they sold me half skewers not as advertised on their website. I called and complained to the manager and he said that the order was fulfilled. Never going back to this place again. Plus the chicken kabobs were terrible tasting. I can't believe these people are still in business. STAY AWAY... many other better options that you can get from other places and more reasonable prices..

Wow, this restaurant is packed! It's like walking into a restaurant pre-pandemic. The restaurant isn't that big either. Customers aren't even seated that far apart, customers are walking around without their masks on and so are the employees, cooks, and manager! The cooks and waiters had it on their chin and below their nose, and the manager had it on his chin. The only employee wearing his mask correctly was the cashier. The food though, pretty good! I ordered the shish Tawook with mixed biryani and red rice, and lentil soup. It was good, especially the lentil soup and biryani rice! Both flavorful and made me want more! The chicken was like eating normally seasoned roasted chicken. It wasn't very unique, but it wasn't bad at all. I wish it was more juicy. My friend ordered the chicken shawarma and I thought that was better than the shish Tawook. I would order the chicken shawarma in the future! The thing I wouldn't do is walk in there to order out or dine inside.

We didn't eat in here but stopped by for coffee and dessert! It's got a very cute casual ambience inside with lovely decor! The people were friendly and the Mediterranean food looks bomb! Looks like the locals know this is a go to spot as it was fairly busy while we were there!

Meat tikka plate subbed rice for fattoush. With side of hummus and side of egg plant salad

I cannot speak to its authenticity, but it was pretty darn good in my book. Food took one time to cook as it is made to order. Staff was very friendly. I asked for some unusual combinations and they sweetly accommodated after confirming it was ok. Ambience: super cute decor. Order at the counter, and no seating available currently due to covid, but environment makes me want to sit and have a meal there eventually. Food: chicken was a bit salty for my liking, but well balanced with hummus. Beef perfectly seasoned and tender. Eggplant salad- amazing. Hummus perfectly balanced. Not too strong of flavor. Lafta- I was expecting naan, and my friend kindly corrected me of my ignorance. FYI- if you are used to hummus coming with bread, it doesn't. I was educated by the cashier that it's usually just eaten as an appetizer or with meat and occasionally bread. It was very good with the meat and I may just eat it like that all the time now...

It was delectably foamy and sweet. My only regret was that it was this particular flavor combination didn't come with an option for a larger size. It really hit the spot for a cold, foamy beverage with perfectly chewy boba. I also tried out their house special braised beef noodles. They were great, but I wish there were more vegetables and noodles. (This was just personal preference.) The beef was well braised, seasoned, and excellent. Patrons order from kiosks and pick up items from the front desk. It would have been nice to interact more with staff, but the system is definitely set up for efficiency. Parking is a shared plaza private lot with plenty of spots during the weekdays. Weekends can be hectic given the amount of businesses here. Worth a visit for sure!

Honestly if you're wanting a tea or a drink this place is great for that...but that's about it…read more I've been a number of times and really have had decent experiences and again would recommend the Nile's location for to-go drinks only. Everything else is sub par...the dan dan noodles may have been the worst I ever had. The noodles were over cooked and stuck together, there was hardly any toppings and it was not at all as it was described. We also got the "Chinese burger" honestly this was also not something I would ever get again. The "bun" situation was dry and had no flavor...also the pork had no flavor and was also dry...I can see why the girl behind was questioning if it was even on the menu still because clearly no one is ordering it and when a customer does they're surprised. Now what really put me off (aside from the surprise piece of aluminum foil found in our food) was the horrible customer service. While waiting for our drinks and food to come out all I hear is one of the employees behind the counter commenting on multiple items on our order. Is it really that hard to make a drink and add extra ice without questioning why you need to add extra ice if that's the special request? It's requested because maybe we like our drinks to not be luke warm and prefer them cold. Then to make comments and being surprised an item was ordered ("chinese" burger). It was on the menu it sounded interesting we wanted to try it...after hearing the reaction it honestly made me second guess placing the order. Then to top it off when the drinks were ready our name was called...I asked if the food would be coming later and the attitude I received back being told that it takes longer threw me off completely. Yes I asked if the food would be coming later but I was asking to ensure that they knew we also had a food order. The attitude implying that I didn't understand that it'll take a bit long was not necessary. Needless to say if we ever come back our orders will be ONLY for drinks, we will NOT be ordering food and I will hope to not have much of any interaction with the staff at this location. It will strictly be pick up & go. Hopefully your team takes some time to work on their customer service skills cause it's lacking.

A very nicely decorated place with great taste and attention to detail. I went with my friends for an afternoon coffee. We all ordered different types of coffee, and every single one was excellent. However, it was quick. They were quick to bring it our order out, and have it ready, despite being so busy inside. We did have to wait a little bit to find a table for our family as large as ours, but that seems to be the norm, because most tables also seem to have about six people on each. The adeni as always is a must have and always my favorite to get. The honeycomb bread and a smattering of other little treats we got from the display cafe that they have was also good and welcome to have in a typical windy day. I would note that even though it smells delicious in here with the coffee aromas, this does not would not be a good place to come to study. This feels like a very friendly friend of the environment because we saw so many different families here and because of that, it was very loud. Just as a heads up. I had no idea by looking at the descriptions and from reading the Yelp reviews it looked like you couldn't really go wrong with any of them. I suggested to my son we do a taste test and he was game. We ordered 6 churros, which was all their flavors with the exception of the hazelnut since he has a nut allergy. As for dips we chose the dulce de leche and mexican chocolate ganache. Within the hour they were delivered in a pizza box and smelled so good. Unfortunately, the squirrels smelled them too and ate thru the box within the few minutes it took me to get to the door. While they only got thru some of the box I didn't want to take the chance of rabies so had to order again! This time I was waiting for the grubhub delivery driver (ordered directly thru Yelp) when he arrived. No churros for the squirrels, although there was plenty to go around because they are huge and gorgeous! They all kind of tasted the same to me- and all good! The Berry White (covered with fruity pebbles) was probably the most unique of all the flavors, but for some reason the rest of the fam didn't like it as much. Perhaps too sweet. which I personally never mind. We had the tough job of narrowing it down to 3 flavors so after a lot of taste tasting (and very full bellies) decided on The Jane, The Mau and The Aunt Rose. Both dips were good as well, but between the two we preferred the dulce de leche. My son hasn't been too into the party planning details, but dessert is something he gets excited about so he loved this activity and can't wait to have yummy churros at his party. And I bet they taste even better when they are nice and warm, which may be a reason to eat them at the parlor than get delivered in the future. And if i do make it to the parlor i have my eye on one of their churro ice cream sandwiches that look so delicious!
