Came to Haraz with friends for dessert and drinks, and it was such a cute place to hang out. We ordered a mix of cakes, tea, and drinks for the table, and everything was beautifully presented. It definitely has that trendy café feel that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. Most of the desserts and drinks were enjoyable, and I liked being able to try a few different things as a group. While it was a good experience overall, it didn't fully hit 5-star level for me, which is why I'd put it at 4 stars instead. Still, the atmosphere was cozy, lively, and perfect for a casual dessert stop. I'd come back again, especially to try more of the menu, and I'd recommend it if you're looking for a cute dessert spot to catch up with friends.

Stunning decor and style for a coffee house! Loved how open and spacious this place was. The service was quick and friendly. My boyfriend and I loved our drinks. I highly recommend the Haraz latte. They offer plenty of savory and sweet pastries and desserts too. Will be come back for sure!

I have been to Haraz many times and the coffee, tea, cheesecake, treats, are always delicious! I also love how spacious the place is! (:

A beautiful franchise infused with cultural elegance & food delights with an artful touch. Definitely a special occasion destination when it comes to dessert & worthy of dressing up with some place to go.

A sip of history Haraz finally opened up in Niles, IL and honestly I could not be more excited had the chance to check it out today and ordered the matcha latte that comes with oat milk and I added in honey and it was delicious and then also ordered a mocha latte as is and that was so yummy as well! The entire place is gorgeous inside and perfect for hanging out with the friends or just to have a place to sit and work:) The staff is incredible and so sweet I will definitely be coming here ALOT! Can't wait to try the food items soon! .. The multiple eats of Haraz! Here are the things I've found amazing since going to Haraz on the daily! * Brand New Dessert! About a 1-1.5: There seems to be many Yemeni coffee shops, popping up all over the place, even less than a mile between from one another. Haraz Coffee House is a newer one, and as other cafes, they offers various coffees and pastries. We had the Pistachio Latte with almond milk and a strawberry cup; both were just less than mediocre - the latte itself was not extra hot, as requested, and barely had much of a flavor to it; it seemed as it was mostly steamed milk. The strawberry dessert cup had an off taste to it, and was just tossed. Staff were friendly, and they bring out your order(s) to your table. The space is large with ample seating; however, we found that the tables were just not tended to and were dirty and sticky. Parking available in the shared plaza lot. +ill-prepared drinks +avoid the desserts +parking available

Pure coincidence this was my third time driving by a Haraz and all different locations. The service was fast and great. Inside was huge and really nice... probably the best out of all the others. The pastry section was way more and it was busy. Since I was randomly driving by I did not get a chance to try any of the desserts, had dinner plans I did not want to ruin. However did get the strawberry lemonade refresher for the rest of my drive and it was delicious. Since I have family in the area I'll definitely come back to this location and explore more of the menu here.

Beautiful location and ambiance. We went around 10-11 am and there were plenty of open tables. There were so many delicious looking options and the coffees are strong. It's a nice place for people to get together and chat or even just to sit in a corner and get some work done while having a great coffee.

Haraz Coffee House is a beautiful new coffee house in the Ron Center next to Arby's. I stopped by in the late morning and the cafe was fairly quiet with a few patrons working on laptops and a few having meetings. There is a large parking lot. It's elegant with a lot of tables, tempting pastries and chocolate desserts (Dubai chocolate) in cases. Haraz serves organic coffee from Yemen: from traditional coffees with cardamom to chai, lattes, frappes, refreshers...and you can sub the milk for almond or oat milk. I tried a cold pistachio latte with oat milk and this stunning drink was as good as it looked, with real pistachio and Haraz spice. The bee bites were lightly toasted, with a light essence of cream cheese, sprinkled with sesame seeds and accompanied by honey. It was delicious and hard to limit myself. This is a stylish Yemeni coffee house with an extensive menu of drinks and very tempting sweet treats.

One of the best coffees I've ever had but also the most expensive coffee I've ever had. $7.50 for an 8 ounce cup of caramel cappuccino deliciousness is a lot after tax, $ 8.35 to be exact for Golf/ Skokie area. I was a little shocked and afraid to ask how much a 16 ounce was. It was no doubt absolutely delicious - the coffee roast was out of this world delicious and so fresh. I didn't have any dessert but the cakes were very reasonably priced with the exception of a few but go check that out of yourself! I do want to go back and check out the dessert because they looked scrumptious and one thing I really appreciate about all the Yemeni coffee shops that have opened up in the Nile's/ Skokie area is that most of them don't offer the same- same dessert options. Haraz offers Ferraro rocher cake which other places don't. The only reason I am giving them a 4 star is because there is one garbage can for a relatively large area space and I understand why because the staff are going around to pick up the coffee and food trays but for example, I'm a mom of two small children- I need accessibility to a garbage in the event that I have things to throw away. I could foresee this being a problem when the space is busy- which I think it gets very busy on the weekends. It's a very open and vibrant space- a lot of room and even for a Monday at noon, it had a good amount of people. Service is slow- they had three staff working of which two were in the coffee/food area and one was cleaning tables. I waited a lot longer than I thought I would for coffee but looking back at it, they took their time to make me a delicious drink. Check them out for yourself!!

It's hard cause I would give this place a 4.5, but if I have to choose between a 4 and a 5, this is a 5. In comparison to like Matari or Qawhah house, this might be the best one! Decor is top notch, just as beautiful as the others. I do wish they cleaned a little more often cause the tables were slightly dirty but we found a clean one. The lady at the counter was very nice and patient. The chai was a 4/5, I got the Adeni chai but I myself may just not be a huge fan of Adeni chai in general. The iced Saffron Latte was solid and looked great too. The frappe was solid as well. Pastries were better than the other places mentioned, like the cheesecake was VERY good Lots of parking as well, great place to visit if in the area

Great new addition to Morton Grove. Ordered iced pistachio latte (light ice/light sweetness) with pistachio danish and cheese croissant. The latte was nutty and yet bright with the espresso. Well balanced and the pastries were delicious. The cheese croissant actually has chunks of cheese in it which is amazing. Definitely recommend. They have plenty of seating, WiFi, and outlets for seats by the walls. The service was quick and they deliver to your table if dining in.

Came here for the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake and Turkish Coffee. The smell of spices greet customers as they open the door. Cheesecake decadent and coffee very strong, thick!! Great first experience.

I've since visited the Niles location several times. The food has always been consistently excellent, but unfortunately the service has never matched the quality of the kitchen. Today's visit was by far the worst. It took over 10 minutes for our server to come to the table to take our order. Throughout the meal, I had to repeatedly flag her down whenever we needed something. To make matters worse, she seemed to disappear halfway through dinner--I'm assuming she clocked out--because we had to get another server's attention just to receive basic assistance. The food, however, was fantastic. I ordered the Al Bawadi Seafood Mixed Grill, and it absolutely delivered. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. That's what makes this so frustrating. This restaurant serves some of the best Middle Eastern food in the area, but when you're paying premium prices, you expect service that matches the quality of the food. I still recommend the food without hesitation, but the consistently poor service at the Niles location is making it harder to justify returning.

Our server was so kind and never let us make the mistake of ordering the wrong thing. She gave us her recommendations every step of the way and every single one was perfect. What we got: Mint lemonade: 5/5. SO refreshing and delicious. Perfect sweetness and the little bit of pulp you get is great. I only wish there was more of it! Chicken arayes: 4.5/5. Crispy, cheesy, garlicky. Need I say more? Get some extra garlic on the side if you wanna take it up a notch. Fried halloumi: 4/5. These are like a soft mozzarella stick, so tasty. Definitely eat the pickles with them. Lamb chops: 4.5/5. 4 tender lamb chops seasoned beautifully. Definitely recommend the red rice over the yellow if you can handle a little bit of heat. Kanafeh: 5/5. Whoever thought that cheese, sweet syrup, phyllo, and pistachios would go together is a genius. Definitely don't leave without getting this dessert. The salt of the cheese perfectly balances out the sweetness. No notes! And get some peppermint tea to go with it too. And the portion sizes are huge! Definitely get your money's worth here. My only issue is this place is right by my job so now I'm gonna go broke getting food here all the time. But that's a problem I'd love to have!

All I know is that when it comes to falafel, Pita Inn is where I'm headed. I've had a falafel addiction since I was a wee lad. It calls to me. The crisp shell. The moist and not-too-dense insides.
