This is true authentic Thai food and it is amazing! I frequent many Thai restaurants and this is my favorite. I suggest the Pad Thai and Green Curry with Beef. Also the Hot and sour soup (Thai style not Chinese) with Shrimp is amazing! The restaurant is family run and operated and you can see your food being made fresh! They replaced my favorite restaurant and i was so sad! But i love thai food so i had to try it. I got take out one time and was impressed. I ate in tonight and it was even better! delicious beyond belief. they gave me tea with my meal with a stick of rock candy for my sugar. i love a lot of extra sauce in any food i get that has sauce, and they remembered! not only that, but they gave me more sauce to take home! it made me feel so special. they are very friendly and the food is made fresh to order. you can watch them make it in the open kitchen. it was so delicious! although i miss Benson's, Spice 'n Pepper has won me over. The prices are incredibly reasonable too. Please do check them out. The parking lot is behind the building, next to Moodz spa. Awful sampler platter and average Pad Thai- the sweet and sour soup was good but it's hard to mess that up - the chicken skewers had feathers burnt on them- overall it depends on the time of day and who is cooking- I gave them 3 chances to get it right and they didn't get it right. I had been driving by this little place on rt 20 for months before I finally decided to stop in. I asked for a takeout menu and sat at the open kitchen's bar while deciding what to order. Our Friday night go to for delicious Thai! We had an issue with a delivery order being forgotten about a month ago. They were very apologetic and even offered us credit towards our next meal which was deeply appreciated. Although highly recommended by friends, entering this sparsely furnished and decorated restaurant right away suggests limitations. I could not have been more wrong. This is possibly the best Thai food in the whole Boston area. The menu is extensive and every dish we ate was outstanding. The crispy half duck was the best I have ever eaten. Appetizers were excellent, and the curry dishes (both yellow and red) were perfectly done. Seafood dishes were fresh and not overcooked. Since eating here, I will go no where else for Thai food. We ate at Spice & Pepper for the second time the other night and we were impressed again. The food was excellent, flavorful and fresh. They have a nice menu with plenty of appetizers and fish/ veggie dishes. We sat at the bar and chatted with the staff. They were very friendly. The prices are also reasonable. A surprisingly great place for Thai in the metrowest 'burbs. Spice & Pepper replaced a lame diner that was here for quite a while. When our friends, who had moved here from NYC tried it, they said it was as good as anything you get in NYC. We had to try it after that and they are RIGHT! There are certain foods that are better eaten right at the restaurant: Mexican, Chinese, and Thai. Here is comes out wicked hot & fresh. The Tom Yum soup is delicious, not to fish-sauce-y. We always get a yellow pineapple curry. They serve real loose leaf green tea, too, a plus. My father in law raves about the crispy duck. If you like Coconut cafe in Newton & Wellesley (which is awesome, too!) but you don't want to drive, give this place a try. You won't be sorry. And if you come in and there are kid shows on it is because the owners little children are always there and don't seem to have much to do, so they watch tv. Friendly staff. read more

I love this place for take-out! We live in Sudbury and order from them about once a month. We were fans when they were Sweet Pepper in Sudbury. The food is yummy and the service is fast and friendly!! (I wouldn't really recommend it for dining there unless you don't care at all about atmosphere.) Food is decent but delivery is unreliable, even when it's a 10 minute drive from their door to mine in Sudbury. Add 30 minutes or so to their estimated time so you're not disappointed. Call after call resulted in no update and they couldn't locate their driver. Somewhat unapologetic as well. Will steer clear of any delivery from this place here on out. I love this place and have been going for years! They used to be in another, less visible, location in Sudbury. We usually do take-out and the food is so tasty and fresh. These people are very hard working-even had the owner deliver to my house one time! Another time, the tofu was omitted from a veggie dish and they drove back with a replacement dish. We love the Pad Thai (order with extra shrimp), masaman curry, veggie garden with tofu, and shrimp in a blanket. read more

The Chef left Sudbury and opened his own small but very friendly restaurant in Wayland. They make fresh food made to order. We have eaten there and/ or done take out every week since they opened and love the yellow curry, Beef with macadamia nuts, pad thai, the pineapple rice as excellent. They make great suggestions if you are not sure what to get. They also deliver though we have not tried the delivery yet. Great food at reasonable prices!! read more

If you like thai food, this is as good as it gets. My wife and I order takeout on average once every week or so, and I frequently drop by for lunch. She gets the shrimp yellow curry and I order the red chicken curry, very mild, no scallions. Sometimes I order the glass noodle pad thai (no peanuts, no scallions). Everything is cooked perfectly to order and ready in just minutes. Family owned and run, there's a great friendly vibe. There's parking behind, but you have to be on the lookout for the driveway. read more
