This is definitely a take out spot. There's indoor seating maybe like 4-5 tables but it's a weird vibe. The staff is nice but still a odd place to go out to and the waiter had the wrong drink order. It's good a spot to eat alone though. Definitely recommend for take out. The food was delicious!

Excellent service, extensive menu selection, and reasonable prices. The only downside is there are only six or seven tables! It made for peaceful atmosphere during lunch, but not sure what one would do if it was busy. Take out?

    Pad See Ew

Ordered the fresh spring rolls and fried spring rolls, both pretty good. Chicken rice soup was also very savory and was a generous size! Pad see ew came with Chinese broccoli like it should be instead of the Americanized carrots and regular broccoli. Bonus points for more authentic Thai food! Tom yum noodle soup was very flavorful! I ordered mild spicy and it came with a decent amount of heat. Also ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert. Kids enjoyed it very much, I only got a few bites of the sticky rice, but they gave it a good review! They have lunch specials which is a nice deal! Inside of restaurant is not big, just two tables for 2 and three tables for 4.

Fresh and richly delicious Thai food. Very impressed - the papaya salad was my favorite dish. I appreciate that you can add your spicy level to every dish. Restaurant excels with vegetarian, vegetable and seafood dishes. Recommended dishes: papaya salad, crispy Thai rolls, pad Thai with shrimp, scallops and mussels. Ordered delivery and the food arrived hot. Thank you for the love you put in your food. We can't wait to order again!

Nice decor, big menu, lots of gluten-free and vegetarian choices, pretty tables, and good service. The food we found to be OK. But everything else pulled it up to four stars. Next time will try a salad and dessert.

I found this little place while in Sudbury white there for a training! At first I wasn't sure what to think because the place is really small and it was empty when I walked in; however, I was politely greeted and offered a seat. The ambience was great! The lights were dim and soft music was playing in the background. I was given sufficient time to make my drink and food selection and was asked if I had any questions on the menu. I ordered a glass of wine and a hot chicken basil dish. The wait was not long and I can smell the spices immediately when the plate was placed in front of me. The server was very friendly and consistently yet appropriately asked if I needed anything during my meal. Quite honestly, I was surprised to were not more people there however I was there after the dinner rush, it was raining, and there was a football game going on that evening! If I ever make it back to Sudbury, I will definitely return to this little place and I wish it a lot of luck as new clients discover it!

    Delicious takeout!

The Spicy basil pad Thai is delicious. I get it with the crispy chicken and it stays perfectly crispy even through the 20 min drive home.

I just got shrimp Pad Thai to go. There was no flavor in it other than sugar. It was so sweet I threw most of it out.

This is a 12 out of 10, and I don't just hand those ranking out willy-nilly. I came here through winters first, which is honestly the ideal origin story. The Spicy Hot Udon in Boston winter is the equivalent of someone putting a blanket on your shoulders without being asked. The broth hits deep, the udon has that perfect chew that tells you someone back there actually cares and respect their noodles, and you leave feeling genuinely restored rather than just full. Then summer came and I almost made the mistake of skipping it entirely--because soup in summer? I mean c'mon. But silly me, I should've tried the Spicy Cold Udon sooner than later. Same exceptional broth. Same gorgeous chewy noodles. But served cold in an absolutely refreshing way. I mourned all the summers I could have been eating this. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the service moves at a pace that impresses you without making you feel like you're being processed; the atmosphere is nice and simple too. Anyway: hot or cold, winter or summer, just go, get some, sip some amazing broth, bask in all of it!

I always worry that…read moretraditional flavors will be toned down to appeal to a broader audience, so I walked into Yume Ga Arukara with a little hesitation. Those concerns disappeared almost immediately. Looking around the dining room, I noticed many of the customers were of Asian descent, which gave me confidence that I was in the right place. I grabbed a seat at the counter, and it ended up being the best seat in the house. Watching the cooks prepare each bowl from scratch was fascinating. They hand-cut the udon noodles, cooked every component to order, and assembled each bowl with incredible care. It felt like dinner and a show all in one. On a rainy Boston afternoon, the Spicy Hot Niku Udon with an onsen egg was exactly what I needed. The broth was deeply flavorful, with rich dried fish and beef notes that tasted comforting without being overwhelming. The thinly sliced beef was tender and perfectly cooked, while the freshly made udon noodles were the star of the bowl. They were silky, smooth, and wonderfully chewy. The tempura flakes added a satisfying salty crunch that contrasted nicely with the soft noodles. The star of the dish, onsen egg, stole the show. The white part had an almost custard-like texture and the yolk was rich and creamy, blending effortlessly into the broth to make every bite even more luxurious. My only suggestion would be to offer sliced jalapeños as an optional side garnish. As a Korean who grew up enjoying spicy foods, I found myself wanting just a little more heat. I understand that Japanese cuisine typically isn't as fiery, but having the option to add fresh jalapeños would have taken an already excellent bowl to the next level for my personal taste.

It reminds me a little of the old Shine's Fresh Asian in Belmont, except somehow cozier and a little more elevated. If you're looking for a place for a big group, this probably won't work. Most of the seating is bar-style facing a beautiful Chinese-inspired wallpaper. However, if you're eating solo, or with one other person, I think it's one of the best places around. There's something incredibly peaceful about settling in with a hot bowl of noodle soup while the clay pot keeps everything piping hot on a cold, snowy winter's day. The menu has so many different soups and hand-pulled noodles that I keep telling myself I'm going to branch out. In fact, I *thought* I had branched out...until my food arrived and I realized I had accidentally ordered the exact same dish I'd gotten the last time. Apparently my subconscious knows what it's likes. The culprit? The clay pot rice noodle soup with pork, Spam, chives, carrots, napa cabbage, baby bok choy, wood ear mushrooms, quail egg, tomato, green onions, and soy sauce. That is an absurd amount of yummy goodness packed into one bowl, and honestly, I can't even be mad at myself for ordering it twice. Could you get it to go? Sure. I've certainly done it before, but I think this is one of those meals that's meant to be eaten there. The clay pot keeps everything hot, the noodles stay just right, and the whole experience feels comforting in a way that doesn't quite survive a car ride home. I sincerely hope House of Noodles stays in Newton for a very long time. It's the kind of neighborhood restaurant that quietly becomes part of your routine, and I'm really glad it's here.
