Either the bread, the condiments, the temperature (what's with heating the sandwiches) something is always wrong. Originally I am from northern New Jersey so I am used to NYC style delis, which consistently speaking, are the best in the country. That's how sandwiches should be. Anyway, ole girl and I were doing a road trip, this place had good reviews. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and made with LOVE! I would absolutely go back, and absolutely highest recco! Not a fan and when I asked to reverse the charge and that I would pay cash the owner/manager seemed not pleased. We go here frequently and I will have to remember to bring cash in the future. I asked our server, Katelyn, if tomato sauce could be added to the pizza. Since it is a specialty pizza, Katelyn said it could not be added, but...she could bring a cup of the sauce along with the pizza. Worked out great! BTW, Katelyn was a great server and very pleasant. Oh, we were able to add pepperoni to half of the pizza. The additional cost of the pepperoni and the sauce was shockingly reasonable. The pepperoni was $1.00 and cup of sauce was $1.99. The pizza came right out of the oven and was delicious. We ordered a half carafe of the Apothic wine, which is a house wine. If you enjoy a decent wine, I suggest spending the extra 7 bucks and upgrading the wine...this is not a complaint, we like good wine. Ambassador has an old-school vibe and is very comfortable.
