Simple and unpretentious with authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. Lassi is freshly made and customisable to individual preferences.

Not sure when this place popped up. We tried it out twice before giving a review. Not many vegan options. Wish they cooked more dishes with a dairy free option. Nice place to dine-in but they also to orders for pick up etc. friendly customer service. This small place can get pretty busy. We tried lamb, shrimp and goat dishes with some side choices. Ordering portions are shareable for a part of two.

here eating our left overs from last night and our son says let's leave review! The food was great and I mean great! My wife is Indian, nuf said.

Coconut chicken with rice. Chicken was moist, this is dairy free, so rich and creamy and delicious!! I could only eat 1/3 of it!

Wow wow wow!!!! This is our new FAVORITE SPOT! Exceptional service with even more exceptional food! Portions are very large and flavor is spectacular! Very accommodating for dietary restrictions... ie Vegan, dairy free, gluten free options! The server is so kind and sweet! It's very clean and comfortable. This is a must try! It's a little hidden spot with food that will have you coming back for more! The value here is fantastic! Less expensive than most, with larger portions than most!

Butter Chicken delicious. Number two spice is very mild. Number three was not hot but flavorful!

Really great fresh food!! We ordered 4 entrees and dined in. The portions are wonderful and the food was fantastic. Don't miss this place:)

I looked up the reviews on this place before I headed to it ....35 on Yelp, 157 on google ... the place is a small, unassuming, quiet interior but the food was just like the reviews said -- absolutely authentic . I ordered the chicken biryani with raita.... and I'm not sure how they make it today in India, but when I was there in the 80s, this is as authentic as that... Top shelf !!

    A gorgeous, perfect Chicken Tikka.

Husband and I found a hidden treasure tonight. This humble little restaurant in a strip mall in Auburn is the domain of an amazing chef who has created menus for exclusive restaurants around the middle east, the kind of places maharajahs and princes eat at. The place looks like any fast food teriyaki or paper-plate-and-plastic-spork joint but do not be fooled. The food here is five-star in every way. The chef just arrived here 6 months ago, showed me pictures on his phone from the restaurants he's been at, and the food was plated like art. He makes everything fresh for you when you order, nothing preheated before you got there, this is SERIOUSLY THE BEST Indian food I've ever had. Like, EVER. My Chicken Tikka came with the loveliest tomato rose I've ever seen, and the vegetables were a perfect compliment to the perfectly tender chicken. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Or get GrubHub from here. Or get catering. Before some Michelin star restaurant finds this guy and scoops him up. Because I'm guessing they will. Seriously. Eat something from here while you can! https://www.mumbaigrandmenu.com/

Such a delicious food. The best Indian restaurant in the area! I am still enjoying my Narvana paneer left overs.

We were very excited to learn that they moved to Auburn as Manraj kitchen!! we don't mind the additional 10 minute drive to get the best Indian food we've ever eaten. The Auburn location seems bigger than the Kent location. It's very clean and bright. They serve superb food as usual, and the menu looks the same as the Kent location.. They are opening a small convenience store on the left side of the restaurant as you walk in. This seems like a great idea for the neighborhood. If you are vegetarian or vegan, they have several dishes to accommodate you. Manraj Kitchen is the same family ownership as the Manraj Palace in Kent. The food and service are excellent. The owner (Ranjit Kaur) is a delight to talk to. Service was good. Prompt seating. Got the appetizer platter served with the tangy tamarind date chutney and spicy green (cilantro mint) sauce. The fritters, samosa and the kebabs were great. Loved the Punjabi samosa! The Peshawari Naan was just as I expected, sweet and perfectly warm. The Mixed Grill could have been better with a Tandoori sauce on the side. It was served with complimentary rice but there was no liquid to supplement the rice and the meat. Could have been marinated a bit longer. The variety of chicken, seafood, kebabs was great but was kind of dry and hard to eat. Something that the owner can certainly look at and improve. I would certainly love the try their other curries. Wouldn't hesitate to give them a try again and refresh my review. Note: They have a small convenience store inside the restaurant. This used to be Happy Express and am glad to see an Indian restaurant in its place.

We used to come here before 2020 at least once a month, other than our grumpy Indian waiter lady , we were ok with this place. Now, The place looks run down and the crowd is non Indian mainly. Which is probably why everything looks curry like but nothing tastes like authentic Indian food. It's a no for me. If you want traditional Indian food, this will disappoint you. The staff here is non Indian , is almost mechanical, and regurgitate learned information about the menu, they don't ask you what you want to drink , they are just marching around cleaning but no effort of being personable. They have signs : 1) no cell phone, 2) you will be charged for food left on your plate, 3) an extra charges for using credit card. It's feels like you are eating in a catholic mass you will be punished if the matron finds you are misbehaving. If you have read this far, find a better Indian restaurant, but you will be disappointed if you are Indian or love true authentic Indian cuisine and go here.

So, read the restaurant's reviews online initially before trying it out for lunch. When we arrived for lunch, got greeted once we walked in and were seated at a table with menus. My family and I looked through the menu and ordered the Chicken Samosas to start off with as Appetizers. Then placed an order of the Chicken Curry (Medium spice level), Chicken Tikka Masala (Hot), one Chicken Biryani (Hot), 1 x Roti, 1 x Regular Naan, and 2 X Garlic Naan Bread. For drinks, we just had water. The Samosas came out first. Then 15 mins later, all of our bread and entrees came out. I think we were all expecting the food to be more flavorful and spicier. I don't know, but the Naan were bland, even the Garlic one. Wanted to taste the garlic flavor on that a little more, so that didn't meet our expectations. The Basmati Rice was also a bit on the bland side. Maybe it was missing the butter or salt that I was used to from other Indian restaurants? I'm not really sure.... The Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala were simply alright. Barely tasted any spiciness, so that seemed off. I mean, they weren't bad per se, just didn't meet our expectations of the usual Indian food that we were used to in the past. Overall: Food - 3 out of 5 Service - 3 out of 5 Another Con may be the Parking.
