While the food was pretty good, our service was very very slow. The music was too loud so we could not hear each other talk. They brought a dessert cake to us but the dish was so hot one member of our party burned his hand. Overall, I would not recommend this place or go back.

We went back for dinner for New Year's Eve, this time was a much better experience. We arrived at 6pm, before the crowd hit. Customer service was much better. Our dishes were delicious as usual, however because of the better customer service we received this time it made the experience enjoyable. We definitely will be back.

This is hands down one of the best Indian restaurant in OC and perhaps in the State of California. The restaurant is modern, clean and very spacious and I love the open kitchen concept here. Regarding the food we loved the Lamb Chops which are so tasty, the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Samosa's. Their different option of Naan bread is also nice and it blends well with the food. Service here is top notch and I can't wait to come back. Enjoy and Bon Appetit.

Food is amazing and quick service . I did a uber eat order and soya chaap was amazing . Super soft and the gravy on top was great. Would love to visit once to check out other dishes

DHABHA CHICKEN CURRY with Raina and Chili Garlic Naan

We visited Spice Social on a Friday evening. There is ample parking on the side streets. The ambiance of the place is inviting, offering lots of private booths that can also accommodate bigger parties. We went for the Spice Mule (Indian spices, ginger beer, vodka), Dhabha chicken curry, raita, chilli garlic naan, and their kesar kulfi. We requested extra spicy. Unfortunately, even though the main was spicy, it was mainly due to extra chili powder that was not roasted, so the resulting curry did not have the expected pleasant cohesiveness. The raita and the kulfi were good; the naan did not come from a tandoori oven. Service was slow despite the restaurant being not very busy. Fullerton and the surrounding areas have a number of outstanding Indian restaurants, so rather than coming back to Spice Social, we will probably explore one of those the next time we crave Indian food.

    MIX TANDOORI PLATTER

Came in on a busy Saturday night. Service can be a bit on the slower side which can be frustrating at first, but the food is so amazing, you forget all about it! I think they happened to be short staffed at the time of our visit. The restaurant has moderate parking in the back and is well decorated. It's a little bit of a smaller space with an open kitchen, so without open doors can get a bit stuffy. Got the mix tandoori platter and was so surprised at how tender every piece of meat was! The portions are really big too and can feed at least 5 people! Cannot wait to come back to try more of their tandoori items!

My wife loves Indian food and it has become tradition that I take her to get Indian food for her birthday. Without fail this time birthday came around and I got a great recommendation from coworker and we tried this place. Was pleasantly surprised place is big and clean very neat accommodates both small and large parties. Service was great and friendly games were showing music was going vibe was cool. The food was great my wife ordered several dishes I enjoyed them all the shrimp and samosas were my favorite. There's street parking as well as parking in the back. Good location good food great service.

Pros: Clean, open, modern space. Lively atmosphere. Very friendly accommodating staff. Delicious food. Several big screen TVs. Small patio in the back. Spacious, pristine restrooms. Cons: none We were looking to try a new place in downtown Fullerton, we stumbled across Spice Social. And we're very happy that we did. Not only was the chicken tikka masala full of spice and the chili garlic naan fluffy yumminess, but we really enjoyed watching the music videos that were Bollywood/American pop music mashups (lots of Justin Bieber). The best part of our lunch experience was that the restaurant owner, Mr. Singh, dropped by our table to thank us for coming to his restaurant and to make sure we were 100% happy. Very nice personal touch. We're looking forward to coming to Spice Social again!

I have been twice now, and the lesson i've learned is this is not a good spot for lunch if you have any sort of time constraint. The first time I came with my husband, we were the only ones there, his food came out, mine never did. I had to get back to work for a meeting, so after 40 minutes I asked them to box my food to go, which seemed to confuse them. They finally figured out that I was in a hurry, and I think they hastily cooked my meal right then. I got back to work and tried the food, the sauce was so bland and the texture of my chicken dish was so off, I threw it away. Luckily my husband had brought half of his Butter Chicken Poutine with him, so I ate that for lunch, and it was delicious. It's now been at least 6 months since that experience, and I decided to come back with a friend. I was still on my lunch "hour" but this time I wouldn't miss anything if I came back late. That was a good thing. Same experience as before, there is zero sense of urgency at this place. There are at least 10 people just standing around and one person cooking, apparently they can only do one thing at a time. For the first 30 minutes of our lunch, we were the only ones there, so it's not like they were super slammed. Long story short, we arrived at 12:00 and didn't leave until 1:10. The people that work here are not the friendliest, and they don't care to check and see how things are going, if you need refills on drinks, to go boxes, or if you are ready to pay. We split an order of samosas that had good flavor, but were way too dry for me. My friend had their Mulligatawny Soup, which was FANTASTIC. Best part of the meal, so bright and light, sort of citrusy, just amazing. We each got a different bread, for me Spice Chili Cheese Naan, which is stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños, we both really enjoyed this. She had Ambarsariya Kulcha, which the menu says is stuffed with potatoes, paneer, and spices. All we tasted was mint and parsley, neither of us cared for this. The last item we split was the Malai Kofta, four small potato balls that reminded me of hash browns, drowning in a bowl of creamy sauce that sort of tasted like a muted curry. It was good, but not mind blowing. Lunch was $66 for those items (we had plenty of leftovers), plus two iced teas, that we had to ask for multiple times and never received refills on. I'd give them a 4 for the food, but the service is just so awful. I eat out often for lunch, at restaurants in Fullerton, Buena Park, and Anaheim. I NEVER have issues ordering, eating, paying, and commuting back to the office within an hour. The only way I could see myself eating here again would be if I called it in ahead of time and picked it up to take home.

NAAN BASKET CHOOZA MAKHANI (butter chicken) VINDALOO(CHICKEN)

My husband and I have been looking for a good Indian spot in Fullerton & wanted to check this place out for a while. Finally had the opportunity and it didn't disappoint. For a Friday night around 6:50 PM, we didn't need to wait as there were plenty of open seats. We ordered the Butter Chicken (Chooza Makhani), Chicken Vindaloo, Biryani w lamb & the Naan platter. To drink we also got a beer & a mango lassi. All the food was good! I did think the biryani was a little salty at times & the butter chicken was a bit too sweet for my taste, but overall everything was yummy. It was my first time trying mango lassi and it's my newest obsession.

I came across this restaurant as I was doing delivery driving, and it stood out to me. It feels like an upscale trendy bar that serves real comfort food. It wasn't busy, so I felt comfortable dining in. All of the employees were super kind and generous. I ordered the goat curry with chili garlic naan, and mango lassi. It was mouthwatering and scrumptious, and it was worth every penny. I'd go back in a heartbeat. This was an upgrade from the previous Indian restaurant I went to. I even was able to split this into 3 different meals, as it is very filling. Don't let the portions fool you because it's very hearty. Their menu boasts so many options that you'll want to try everything, unlike other places. The seating at the bar is a little inconvenient just because there's no back support on the chairs, and it wiggles a little. But, I intend to try some of their alcoholic drinks next time. Great flavoral eats for sure!

    Watermelon cooler and Aam Panna

Great food - we tried Vada pav, pav bhaji and keema pav. Keema pav comes with a fried egg I asked mine to be well done. I would like more chutney and chutney on the side. We tried the water melon cooler and aam panna. It was very refreshing on a hot day like today !

This place has been on my list for a long time so I'm glad to finally be able to go! The interior has a nice, trendy vibe. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Our server was helpful with answering our questions. We ordered the gol gappa and chili cheese naan to start, then chicken tikka masala and vegetable korma for our entrees. We finished off with gulab jamun for dessert. Gol Gappa- Crispy exterior with spiced potatoes and chickpeas as filling. Paired with a sweet sauce that balances out the savory flavor well. Such a fun starter! Chili cheese naan- The naan is filled with cream cheese and chilies. Perfectly creamy with a kick. The exterior is buttery with a light crisp. Chicken tikka masala- The sauce is well seasoned and bursting with flavor. The chicken chunks are juicy and tender. Vegetable korma- Creamy sauce with a slight sweetness. The dish is packed with a variety of vegetables and paired well with the chicken tikka. Both entrees were served with fragrant basmati rice. Gulab jamun- We ordered ours warm. The syrup was perfect and soaked the fried milk balls perfectly. Such a wonderful meal and experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Curry Hut is in a small plaza with limited parking (although cars frequently come and go). It's a cozy place with only six tables, but most people pick up their food and go anyways. The employees and courteous and patient, especially for those who are visiting for the first time. They constantly are turning out dishes to refill their counter hot plates and everything looks and smells delicious. They have a short list of meal combos; I went with the 2 item combo and of course upgraded to garlic naan. I got goat curry and palak paneer, along with a mango lassi. The mango lassi tasted different than others I've had; it was more on the tart side. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't one of my favorites. The goat curry and palak paneer along with warm rice were amazing! I could bathe in their palak paneer. Their food also didn't feel heavy, even though it was a very filling meal. I HIGHLY recommend this spot for a quick lunch to pick up or even for catering! If I find myself in Fullerton again soon, this would definitely be one of my top destinations.

The crunch of the samosa with the filling inside dipped with green chutney was the right flavor. Beef biryani - when I saw this dish swinging by before the people started linning up, it looked super promising. But by the time it was my number in line, it was mostly yellow rice leftover. Delicious!! First…read moretime and we are very excited to have this now added to our restaurant rotation! We both ordered the 2 item combo: I got black pepper chicken and eggplant, my husband got black pepper chicken and chicken tiki masala, both came with rice and we added garlic naan. We also ordered the cheese naan. Everything was so delicious! Chicken is tender and everything had wonderful flavor. The black pepper chicken was our favorite. The eggplant was surprisingly spicy which we love! Restaurant is smaller but clean and seats are comfortable. Service was very friendly. Photos next time! See you again soon Orange Curry!
