    Samosa chaat
    bhakti p.

Tried Dosa night and bombay chaat night. It was ok. Overly spiced bombay chaat. Pav bhaji was overly spiced, so is the frankie. Samosa was cold. Nimbu sharbat was good. Rabrdi was way too sweet. For dosa night: food was not warm. It was already pre plated. So thali came with khichdi( upma) puran poli was dry. Idli was room temperature so did vada sambhar. 2 nd round uttapa was hot. It was ok food. Ghee dosa was good as well. Place was packed due to inlimited dosa and chaat night. Place was under staffed.

Went and try this place since AWD saw an advertisement for crab masala. Was a bit skeptical how fresh the seafood would be. About the place, the majority of their business is take out or delivery. Free delivery within the 15 miles radius with minimum purchase. They also offer eat in as well. You can preorder or can order at the restaurant if eat in. To the food. We ordered the crab masala, fry curry spicy shrimp and spicy chicken biryani rice. Crab masala, approximately one medium side blue crab cut up in bite pieces. Full of flavors and spices. Not fishy at all. The dry curry shrimp was also flavorful but a bit of a small portion. The chicken biryani rice exploded with different curry, spices flavor and not your typical biryani rice dish that you are used to in any Indian restaurants. We ordered ahead but to eat in. When we got there, knowing our intention, they re-heat the food so we can enjoy the hot meals. The dining area was pretty simple, very attentive service and gets whatever you need. Would go back and try there other dishes.

AYCE South Indian (non meat) breakfast. You have to purchase tickets online (it's say $10/person but somehow the total cost is around $59 for 3 people). The place is clean with odd and off on setup/decor. It's basically a room covered with pics of "moms" walls and tables/chairs and that is pretty much it. Parking is great since they are in a shopping complex with private parking plus there is free street parking. Great, friendly, helpful and attentive service by 2 young ladies. The foods are very flavorful and very tasty. You can tasted that it's home cooking with care & love. Once they bring you the set (which is around 5-10mins), then you can scan the code and order your dosa(s), which take about 10-15mins after you ordered and they will fill up varies type of chutneys. Overall it is quite unique for us since it's our 1st time tasting this. Not sure how it goes but turned out, enjoyable. They do have dinner (with meats) AYCE too but that will be another time. If you haven't try it yet, come and try it.

Seriously? This is $16? Chettinad Fish fry

This place is sure to close down soon. We bought the chettinad fish fry and the Madurai fish curry. Although the curry taste want great, the quantity was okay. The fry was just silly. The pieces were the size of the lemon as you can see. Extremely unprofessional charging $16 and then giving food for $6? The fry tasted okay. Very disappointing. Not going back ever.

Whenever I'm in LA, this is my go-to spot and a must-try place. I believe it's a cloud kitchen with multiple restaurants operating under different names at this location. However, the food is amazing! Back when I lived in LA for a year, I used to order from them frequently. They used to prepare food here and deliver it all over Los Angeles. I loved their Butta Lo Biryani, various curries, appetizers, and much more. Their Charminar Biryani is on another level--just wow! And when it comes to South Indian food, no one makes it the way they do. I used to visit often, enjoy their food, and leave satisfied. Even after moving away from LA, I still visit frequently since I have family and friends here. Whenever I'm in town, I make sure to stop by this place. This time, I had Talapakatti Biryani, dosa, idli, and took four biryanis to go. This place is just fire!

The chicken itself was super crispy and fresh. Personally, I think the chicken sandwiches could've used just a little bit more seasoning, but overall everything was still really good. What truly made the experience stand out was Danny at the register. He was absolutely amazing and had incredible customer service. Once he found out it was our first time there and that they were close to closing, he went above and beyond and accommodated us with not one, but TWO chicken sandwiches on the house for us to try. That level of kindness and hospitality honestly made our night. We ended up getting an amazing combo with shrimp, chicken, macaroni salad, two Spam musubi, two chicken sandwiches, and two drinks -- all for only $22!!! Such a great value for the amount and quality of food we received. Danny's energy alone made us want to come back. Great customer service goes a long way, and this place definitely left a positive impression on us!

We've been here a lot over the years since they opened, and we've never had an issue getting a lemonade refill with other employees. Never once. Maybe they were nice. Today, however, the employee at the front, Shien, told us they don't offer refills. She was in the back chatting away with another employee so maybe it was inconvenient for her to offer the refill as she would have to walk back to the front area, whatever might be. What made the experience especially frustrating for me was that I was using the opportunity to teach my son how to politely approach restaurant staff and ask for a refill himself. After being told no, he was embarrassed, and it turned what was supposed to be a positive learning experience into a disappointing one. As I walked over to ask for clarification, I noticed Shien and another employee looking in my direction, whispering, and laughing. I don't know if it was about me, but the timing and appearance didn't leave a good impression. If the restaurant has a new policy of not offering lemonade refills, that's completely their choice. I just think it should be communicated clearly at the time of purchase or posted on a sign, especially since their other drinks are refillable. Every other employee I've interacted with over the years has always been friendly and accommodating, which is one of the reasons we kept coming back. There are plenty of other dining options in the area, so unfortunately I don't plan on returning because of today's experience and a bad impression with the Shien girl. If my kids really wanted to eat here again and I saw the same employee working, I would definitely turn around and choose another place to eat.

Staff are friendly; when you arrive you are greeted in Japanese, and they are very accommodating if you need anything. Next to the register there is a small refrigerator with canned and bottled drinks for purchase. They do not offer water cups at all, which I'm fairly certain is required by California state law. This was frustrating, but we managed fine without. I have tried the oyakodon and the pork katsu plate. Both are delicious! The oyakodon has a perfect amount of chicken and egg, and is topped with some veggies that gove a nice flavor. I love the flavor of the onions in this, too. The pork katsu is an easy favorite; I have ordered this at many places but this one has the best sauce! The pork was crispy and flavorful. It included a small side of potato salad and some veggies that included lotus root, edamame, I think sweet potato, a mushroom, and something else I couldn't quite identify. Average meal price is around $16 each, so not too bad. We will definitely be back for other delicious meals!

My family and I have always been loyal customers, we always tip generously, and we have never given this establishment a reason to treat us with anything but respect. Today, that streak ended. Instead of seating us, they made all 9 of us stand right next to literally 10 wide-open seats for over 5 minutes. To make matters worse, the staff kept giving us looks that made us feel incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcome. In over a decade, we have never been made to feel like a burden here until today. It wasn't cool, and it completely ruined what is usually a great family tradition. It hurts to say this after 10 years of loyalty, but if you have a big party, don't go here. They clearly cannot handle it, or simply do not want the business.
