I only stopped there to grab a to go orders 1/4 pollo a la brasa, it comes with two sides The space is clean, organized and the service is super friendly, will definitely recommend to check it out My chicken was perfect, juicy and the fries and green sauce tastes like authentic Peruvian perfection

We had the lomo saltado and the Saltado Mar y Tierra and both were delicious! The maracuya juice was delicious as well. We will definitely be returning!

A very rarely get five stars to Peruvian restaurants I have been a Chef for over 10 years of proving cuisine and I can confidently say that this is the best Peruvian food currently in so-Cal. The moment I walked in the service was great and the ambience you can see from the outside.

I have been twice so I can say that the food has been consistently delicious. I love the ceviche de pescado, lomo saltado, platanos, the green sauce they provide, and the passion fruit juice . I tried the passion fruit cheesecake and it was tasty however I can tell it was in the freezer for a while or perhaps the cheesecake hadn't fully cooled prior to putting it in the freezer. Anyway if it didn't have the frostbite element it would have been tasty. That's the only reason my rating is a 4 and not a 5. Another thing that was disappointing was In my ceviche they only gave me two very small slices of sweet potato lol I thought that was silly. The place gives more of a whole in the wall vibe. Nothing special. you can eat inside and the patio is decent :). The service is great. The lady working at the front was very sweet, kind and helpful :)

Waited 1 hour 10 minutes for our order (togo), then got chicken that looked like this near the bone. Is this undercooked?

Food was really good, freshly made. We walked in at 7pm and had our food by 7:25, left feeling full but not in a bad ir guilty way. The type of full you'd get at your family get together. Flavors were all there. Definitely a come back type of place.

My husband and I came here on a Friday for lunch. We were in the area and love Peruvian food. The owner and his son greeted us as we entered the restaurant. Super nice, family owned restaurant. We ordered the mar y Tierra lomo Saltado and the 1/2 rotisserie chicken meal and we loved both! The saltado was very flavorful and meat was tender. The chicken was very flavorful too. We had two maracuya and they were very good too, not too sweet! Definitely recommend if you're looking for some good Peruvian food!

Honestly though! How is it every bit as good the next day?!? This is my favorite spot to have lunch and also take an order to go.

Cute little restaurant in downtown Fullerton area. We were hungry for Peruvian food so I found this place on Yelp w good reviews. The service was good and friendly. You order your food at the counter and they bring you your order of dining in. Not too many seats inside but they do have a few more tables outside in the front patio. The food was amazingly good, I wasn't expecting much but everything was delicious very home cooked feel. I would recommend coming here if you want authentic Peruvian food. They have a huge selection and priced fairly. Large parking lot as well.

    Platanos maduros were so good!

Great ambiance, good food. The ceviche is fresh and the pollo. It is authentic and I'm Peruvian.

Wow, absolutely amazing Peruvian food. I am always on the look out for good Peruvian dishes and most of the time, am a bit disappointed. This place definitely changed my losing streak. I ordered 3 dishes togo; fish ceviche (Ceviche de Pescado), chicken soup (Aguadito de Pollo), and filet mignon (Lomo Saltado). The ceviche, I ordered it spicy. It was not over the top spicy, just the right amount of kick. The fish was fresh, the red onion on top crisp, and of course the crunchy hominy with a smooth piece of sweet potato gives you all the textures in one beautiful dish. Very citrusy and bright just a perfect example of what Peruvian ceviche is supposed to be. The lomo saltado, was seasoned expertly. Not overly salty, not greasy. High quality cuts of meat cooked to perfection over the crispy, but softened with the sauce french fries. Served over white rice. My only complaint was the way it was packaged did not travel well. The sauce spilled all over the napkins and brochure in the bag. Easily remedied by just wrapping that item singularly in a bag by itself. Just something to note if you're ordering that to go. Normally, that type of thing would've really annoyed me, but the food was so good. It immediately erased my annoyance with that situation. The soup was very hot. It allowed me to enjoy the other dishes first as it cooled. It was comforting, flavorful and packed with veggies, rice and chicken. Has a citrus undertone to it, and was a healthy end to an amazing meal. I added my own cilantro and green onion to it which elevated it to absolute deliciousness. The green sauce served with the food was so good. I could literally drink that stuff. It was delicious on top of everything. Not that the food needed anything else, as it is great all on its own. The restaurant itself looked clean and the young lady who took my order was pleasant. I will be back here again and again.

The lomo saltado was amazing!! We also tried the inca kola which was actually really good as well. I will definitely be coming back. The workers were also very sweet and helpful. Super cute spot to eat for lunch or dinner.

They also didn't provide the green sauce or any type of hot sauce, which would have dramatically improved the dishes. I'm pretty sure I may have ordered the wrong dishes, but I've had these same meals at other Peruvian restaurants, and they were much more flavorful. Arroz Chaufa Beef- very basic simple dish, with only eggs and green onions, little beef and a lot of rice. It needed some black pepper or a flavorful sauce on the side. Adobo de Chancho con Frejoles- marinated pork adobo with fried yucca , a lot of rice and beans. The pork was bland and dry, and unfortunately it didn't look anything like the photos. Dish lacked in flavor

My son took me to Akashiro for my birthday. What a treat this was!!…read more He ordered the full omakase experience for us. I didn't know what to expect, but WOW! It's a like a dining adventure. Fifteen courses that are surprises because even tho there's a "template" of types of dishes, each one is ultimately the chef's choice. As each course was brought out, our waiter did an excellent job of describing what each item was and it's place of origin. Fifteen courses is alot to try to remember each specific dish so I decided to stay in the moment (after I snapped a pic) and enjoyed each one as we had them and talked about the flavor profiles and what we liked best about it. When my son had made the reservation he must have told them we were celebrating my birthday because in addition to the regular dessert course, our server brought me a birthday dessert which included green tea ice cream and a slice of matcha cheesecake. The full omakase experience was delicious and so fun! I told my son that it was like an advent calendar ~ each course we "opened" had us saying "ooo, how yummy" and left us with almost giddy anticipation of what we'd discover next. If you're looking for something fun and unique for a special occasion, I highly recommend the full omakase experience at Akashiro!

So we found this place and it was in the same vicinity and yay, they took reservations. Made reservations same day for a 18:30 seating. Service is impeccable. We were welcomed with hot towels, and this impressed me: when our server asked if we wanted cold or hot water. Love it! We opted for hot, better for digestion :) Our libation: Kubota sake - semi dry, rich, clean Our dishes: Assorted sashimi (16 pcs) - omakase. No soy sauce needed. Chef prepared with delicious flavors in mind. Tiger scallops - served in a what appears to resemble petrified wood, carved into a long boatlike dish. Hokkaido shrimp, cilantro oil, chilaquita (Peruvian onion relish), sweet potato crisp, smoke aji Amarillo (Peruvian yellow chili) Leche de tigre (rich emulsion of limes, Peruvian spices and chilis) - A complexity of flavors that comes together so completely. Eat with spoon. The delicate potato crisp finishes the bite with a little crunch. Udon picante - bell peppers, quinoa and 2 jumbo shrimp. Love the heat level. Comfort food at its best. Salmon parmesan - Nikkei sushi - seared salmon, parmesan bitter, eel sauce , arare, lime. Amazing. O toro sushi - the fattiest cut of tuna. Eat as is. Again chef prepared. No added seasoning required. Parri maki - fried shrimp, cream cheese, seared tuna topped with chimichurri, aji amarillo, chalaquita, ponzu. Food experience was enhanced by their impeccable taste in music. Super chill, soft beats stream the restaurant. With its perfect lighting too sets all the good moods for us. Don't wait for this fine dining experience of Japanese and Peruvian fusion. Note: when they ask if you want soy sauce, say No, thank you. It would be a shame to kill the taste of a beautiful dish with any added sauce. Kampai! Salud!

We came in with our daughter, who is on the autism spectrum and has very specific food preferences and sensory needs. As we have done on previous visits, we brought food from McDonald's for her so that she could comfortably eat while we enjoyed our meal. We explained this to our waiter and let him know that we have always been allowed to do this in the past because of our daughter's special needs. Unfortunately, the waiter refused to allow our daughter to eat her food and repeatedly stated that his manager, Angel, made the rules. Despite explaining our situation and our long history as customers, there was no effort to accommodate us or show any understanding. What makes this even more disappointing is that we have been coming here for years and have spent a significant amount of money supporting this restaurant. Our family meals would often total close to $200, and we were regular customers who genuinely enjoyed dining here. It was upsetting to see that our loyalty seemed to mean nothing and that no consideration was given to our daughter's circumstances. Rather than make our daughter uncomfortable or cause a scene, we chose to leave. As parents of a child on the spectrum, we expected a little compassion and understanding. Instead, we felt unwelcome and dismissed. We are extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled and, sadly, after years of being loyal customers, we will not be coming back.
