I tried the Wild Thai Chili Beef -- it was okay. I'm not a fan of cilantro, so I had to pick it off, but I'll be sure to ask them to leave it out next time. I asked for it less spicy, and unfortunately, it ended up having no spice at all. Next time, I'll just stick with the original spice level. The Wonton Soup was a pleasant surprise -- the broth was light and flavorful, and the three wontons were very good. The Pork Egg Rolls were crispy and generously filled. The Fried Rice really stood out; I usually don't care for fried rice, but this one was really good. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.

Had a taste for some good Asian cuisine and glad I was able to see a recent TikTok regarding this place. The review definitely did not sell this place short. Parking was plentiful, restroom area was clean, service was excellent, and the food was exceptional. I've passed this place several times and it was a for sure diamond in the rough. Now the Eats!!! I ordered the Fried Dumplings and Cheesy Rangoons to start which had the best crisp flavor ratio. For main entrees we ordered the Spicy shrimp, the General TSO's chicken, & the BBQ Pork Fried Rice. Both entree's were prepared fresh, well seasoned, and gave the best combination of flavors. Kudos to the chef for making me a believer!! If you are in the Katy area you must give them a visit. Enjoy!!!

I wish Spicy House was my house! After finding myself in Katy on another mission, we pulled up to Spicy House, anticipating some good Sichuan style cuisine. The ambiance inside of Spicy House is just what I like. Not too bright. Dim lights and music mixed with the sound of people enjoying their food and company. I really like the way the restaurant is decorated. There was a comforting vibe in there. The service was great. I was greeted immediately and shown to a seat right away. After perusing the menu for a bit. I ordered the Spicy Fish Slides and Red Chili Oil Dumplings for the table. The dumplings were really delicious and seasoned very well. I'm not a huge dumpling guy but I really enjoyed these. These were probably the best dumplings I've tasted in recent memory. With that being said... I have to warn you about the Spicy Fish Slides! You may become addicted! These fish slides were so flavorful and crispy. I couldn't get enough! Forget Lay's potato chips, there is no way you can eat just one of these fish slides. I barely wanted to stop at one plate. The outside was crispy but the inside was tender and juicy. The oil/sauce on the fish and veggies is intense and incredible. The peppercorns make my lips numb and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thinking about it right now makes my mouth water and want to go get some right now. The server recommended I try the spicy shrimp next time, since I enjoyed the fish so much. I will take her up on that the next time I return. I will need a plate of fish and one of shrimp. Spicy House was a hidden gem to me but I won't keep the secret to myself. Go to Spicy House and experience the spice of life!

Coming here for the first time! We ordered several dishes! Personally, I ordered mapo tofu with mild spiciness but the dish was very spicy plus pepper corn was pretty strong If they make less spice and pepper corn then that would be much better for my taste but I like the flavor! Their portion is generous and plenty! My friends ordered general tofu and sour potatoes stuffs and they are good! Plenty tables to serve people here and the vibe is nice! It doesn't look like an authentic Chinese environment but more like modern style! I'll come back again! :) But hope they make foods a bit less spicy Cheers

We frequent here about once a month, but we always end up getting take out. It's one of the places that I know my Togo order will be fulfilled accurately. Industry wide, I've noticed Togo orders have the most inaccuracies so that is always a deciding factor when choosing somewhere to get take out. I LOVE the tea smoked duck, and red chili oil dumplings. But I also haven't disliked anything on the menu. I'd recommend this restaurant for sure!

Time to Order: 20-45 minutes? We were in a group so maybe that's not accurate, but we also ordered a lot. Roti Canai (5/5): One of the best roti Canai I've ever had. The curry is thick with potato and super tender chicken and the roti canai bread is chewy but somehow still flaky and flavorful at the same time. It was so good that I ordered another one for myself to go to let my partner try it at home. Malaysian Chicken Satay (5/5): You will read "tender chicken" in my review several times. It's not a joke. The chicken nearly melts in your mouth. The last time I had meat this tender it was a filet mignon that was 6x the price of this dish. Char Kuey Tow (4.5/5) and Mee Goreng (4.5/5): Yeah we got both the flat noodle and the mee goreng. Because both are awesome. Noodles stayed chewy, beansprout and veggies were great, proteins were great. Not too saucy. Solid. Uncle Chen's Sizzling Tofu (4.5/5): We got this seafood style and it comes loaded with shrimp, calamari.. fantastic. Great by itself or on rice. The middle gets a little soggy if you let it sit too long, so chow down on this whole it's hot! Roasted Hainanese Chicken (4/5): Nothing against the dish itself, I just don't like all the bones. Yes, the chicken was beautifully tender. Chicken rice, also fantastic. Curry Chicken Puff (4.5/5): So this was way more filling than I expected. It's like an intense Asian empanada? Totally worth it. Comes out really hot. Lastly, we got a serenade from the man himself. Yes, he pulls out a mic and sings. It's his break from cooking during the dinner rush. So, you might indeed get dinner and a show! It's beautiful to see someone who enjoys what he's doing - and his voice is such that some people think it's a song over the intercom instead of live music, take that how you will :) TL;DR: Absolutely contends for Best in Katy. Yes, it lived up to the hype. Come and eat family style and you won't be disappointed!

Really nice orange flavor and tender chicken. So much fun eating it since it is gluten free! Our kiddo also devoured this dish! Mild - not spicy at all! The Spicy Numbing Pot, while a little oily/greasy on the bottom, was still delicious! I appreciated that it wasn't knock your socks off spicy - it had a solid kick, and so flavorful. I love eating dishes with Sichuan Pepper; it has a lot of flavor, and the tingling is so much fun. This dish was perfect with some rice, and it wasn't too heavy for the middle of the day. The prices were really reasonable, and there was enough food for leftovers which we ate later that night. Our only regret is not getting the duck appetizer, but we will be sure to get it next time. However when i entered into their Katy location, several workers saw us and ignored us, despite having only 2 small tables filled on a Friday night. We had called ahead and made reservations for a large table of 12 so they put us in a private room w 2 round tables. But we sat at the larger one. We got notice that 2 of our attendees couldn't make it so we let them know and they said that because of this we couldn't sit inside this room and we would have to move outside (but we'd all started drinking and ordering at this point) - I asked why? There were no other ppl here and we all got settled in. The head person came and said we have to pay extra to stay in this room, if we chose to. I didn't understand why- again it's Friday 7pm and they are empty! So we moved tables outside the room to main dining. They said they couldn't put out tables together and we have to sit next to each other.... Needles to say, it was annoying. We ordered food and it was very slow despite no customers. Portions are super small, lacked traditional tastes that the previous restaurant had and way more expensive. For 10 people we spent around $600. I don't mind paying as long as the food is good. It was very Americanized, small portions and w horrible service, it was disappointing to say the least. We won't be going again!
