This place was closed, but they are back open again. I didn't even know about them until I was getting my truck washed this morning and saw the flyers on the counter and then the banners hanging above under the canopy. It's definitely a cool little captured audience of people waiting at least an hour for their cars to be done, and then obviously, they have the entire parking lot once the car wash closes. There are plenty of Nashville Hot Chicken options nowadays, but since I love it, I do try to check out all the small shops, especially in today's economy. From where I live, there's a plethora of vendors offering Nashville style chicken sandwiches. As a matter of fact, when I do a yelp search for Nashville chicken, more than ten businesses showed up within five mile radius. Seems like more and more vendors are popping up. Spicyboyz is one of them. The pop up is located at the parking lot of Vineland Carwash at the corner of Vineland and Vanowen. Not sure if parking in the car wash is allowed but there are lots of street parking around the area. I had the chicken sandwich with fries. I came just after they opened so there's no line yet. The guys running this place were quite friendly. Service was fast as I waited only a few minutes for my order to be served. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich with a side of fries. I haven't been to Nashville so I'm not sure how a Nashville chicken should really taste like but the chicken sandwich I had was pretty good. It's very well seasoned as well as the fries. read more

I hate to give new places a bad review but i have to be honest!!! Ordered the first first combo and a side of Macaroni .... I've tried several chicken shops in Los Angeles, I'm a huge Nashville chicken fan!! I eat fried chicken and Nashville chicken weekly... but this chicken sandwich was just alright. The bun tasted basic. I think the seasoning needed to have their own kick but it didn't .. maybe it was the sauce that was lacking?? I'm not really sure but something was missing. Places like Howling, Daves, Angry birds, etc all have their own strong kick but this did not. The combo portion was good for 2 people . the fries weren't that crisp.... pretty soggy. the mac & cheese was not good.... it tasted like those microwaved packets... had hardly any cheese on it. Just tasted like i was eating plain macaroni .... my boyfriend hated it so much he handed it back to me :( So I accidentally showed up too early before checking that they opened at 7. That's fine , my fault completely ... We got out of the car to order at 7pm because i had a movie at 7:30... got my Godzilla tickets a month ago so I figured I would take my sandwiches to go .... L-O-L after we ordered, they told us it'll be a few minutes because they had to "start up the grill" and stuff ...Ok what??!! It should be started up before 7!!! Don't have it open if the grill and everything isn't ready ...We didn't get our food until 7:20.... so we RUSHED to Burbank 16, had to find parking and missed the beginning of the movie.... Smh had I known they were gonna take forever to start the grill, i would have gone elsewhere because our movie tickets costed us 46 dollars (prime 3D) . Their loaded fries and amazing just the right amount of fries and coleslaw and the chicken is cut into the perfect amount. Their sauce is the best I ever had out of all the chicken places wish I could buy it in stores but definitely worth going here just for the sauce. Tried Spicy Boyz Organic Chicken for the first time last night. Located in the parking lot of a car wash at night when the car wash is closed, so don't try finding it during the day. The chicken was legit. Big, juicy and well cooked; available in various heat levels. For my first time I got the medium hot. It had some kick to it and I really nice flavor, but wasn't overbearing. I do like my hot chicken a little hotter, but that was my fault for just going medium. Next time I will go up a level on the heat. Everyone there was really nice and I might have given it 5 stars except for 2 things. While the chicken was nice and big, the portion of fries in my combo was lacking. Also, I got a can of soda and it was warm. I saw them take it out of the cooler and didn't see any ice in the cooler at all. Other than that, I enjoyed it and I definitely will be back. read more

This chicken spot is bombdeezy. My son and I just ordered two combos - #2 and #3 - he, two tenders no spice; myself, one sandwich, one tender, hot and medium spice, respectively. Also have an order of loaded fries that I'm letting cure overnight in the fridge (idgaf what chicken spot you hit up, order the loaded fries [they all have one] to eat the next day -- you won't regret it), and my son and I split a mac n cheese. So, the tenders/sandwiches are fire. The hot, as another Yelp review stated, isn't as hot as most of the other spots, but I don't mind that -- in fact, I dig it. How many of you hotshots out there are tearing down on ghost pepper dry rubs, anyways? Riiiight... The hot is perfect, just enough battle with every bite, but I didn't need a cool down period and 80 different condiments/extra pickles/extra slaw/fries/water/milk/kitchen sink to cool my palette in order to make it to the next bite. I ordered it specifically to see if that fussy Yelp review was on point, or on some other ish -- it's on some other ish. The house sauce is full of flavor and makes the meal. I can't wait to tear down on that order of loaded fries in the fridge. That sauce is what makes the fries, and imo, the sandwiches. Shitty, flavorless sauce kills an order. For me, it was the opposite - it made this order as good as any I've had out here in LA. Finally, the folks that were working the register and fryer were cool as hell. I could tell they genuinely wanted me to love their food, rather than pretentiously assuming so, or worse, not giving a crap. They let me sample the spice levels, as well as explain their menu... and when leaving, were warm and affable, and wished us a great meal. This place makes street food look like a bad idea! The girl taking our order had no mask, after taking maybe 3 orders she did sanitize her hands. There was some dude with a beard, leg brace, and no mask walking around the food prep area talking to the cooks, while they were handling food. Again NO MASK Grabbing soft drinks from the cooler. Then one of the cooks took his mask off & started eating fries out of the hot plate. Standing over them. At this point we left. Was not going to even risk asking for my money back. It's a shame.
