Don Chilaquiles is gaining steam on The Gram for their K-Town location. This is their second location at the Vineland and Victory intersection in front of the CVS y Más. They specialize in green, red, and mole chilaquiles and also serve tacos, burritos, mulitas, etc. The service was great and we received our chilaquiles divorciados (red & green) con carnitas and tacos de pastor in about 10-15 minutes. The portions were generous, guacamole was very fresh, and salsas were spicy. They are definitely worth visiting!

After being tortured for weeks by their Instagram videos I made it goal to make it for breakfast and today was the day! It's your standard street vendor, but their set up is pretty big and well organized. They're only open for breakfast / brunch closing around 2PM. They accept cards or cash, so no special atm run is needed. We got there around 9AM, and the line was about 10 people deep (grew to about 20 by the time we got our food and headed out). We chose to stick with their traditional fare and got one Asada and one Pastor so we could each try both. For their Chilaquiles they have two sauces to choose from (red (less spicy), and green (more spicy). I'm typically a medium salsa kind of guy and both of theirs were on the warmer side to my taste, but not unbearable, just something to make note of going in if you're sensitive to heat. The Pastor was greasy as expected, and the red was a bit on the saucy side of you asked me. Egg yolks were the standard yellow and were cooked over medium. It was about a 20 minute drive for me, so I don't know I'd go back unless I happen to be in the area when they're open and ready to eat. All in all it was good, but o think I've had better. The really prize was their Agua Fresca (we had them mix the Mango and the Passion Fruit) which was on point.

Chilaquiles with asada, medium egg with a heap of avocado salsa. Soooo good!

This place is soo good. The food is on point. You can taste the quality of ingredients that they use. Everything is fresh and it smells soo good from a block away... believe me.. I live a block away. The service is fast and it is what you would expect from a street vendor location. I felt a little overwhelmed the first time I went there because I wasn't sure what I wanted and when its your turn to order, they don't play around. Pro Tip: Make sure you know what you want and to be prepared by the time it's your turn. I will be returning!!! Enjoy!!! #jsho @jshoeats

Tried it for the first time wanted to see the hype. Wasn't much of a fan. Carnitas was super dried and over cooked. Pickled onions were super salty My brother had been here before he felt this time was a let down. Nice that they have a salsa & goodie bar Available seating area is available Music was a little loud, making it hard to hear the guy giving me the food.

Ordered a breakfast burrito, built my own Carnitas, rice, beans, cheese, and scrambled egg. The egg was brown, hard, and over cooked. The Carnitas arw fire, I would come back k and maybe order tacos. Street vender so if you are looking for Ambiance this is not a spot for you. But if you want Fresj Carnitas bring cooked in a huge pot on the street corner... this is the spot for you.

Well what can I say? These are the best chilaquiles I've had in a long time! Perfect balance and amazing size for the money. The staff is as friendly and food was put together rather swiftly. Granted I was as the first customer of the day! Will definitely come back and try their plate and eat it there again. They do set out a couple of tables for customers to enjoy their food on the spot but I prefer to eat alone and in my car. The carnitas were solid and a good canvas protein to allow all of the other flavors to shine together but I have to try something else, won't lie, it wasn't the best carnitas. Still was an amazing burrito overall and as I finish writing this... I'm getting hungry

Red chilaquiles with sunny side up eggs. Omg! Is an understatement on the flavors, freshness, and authenticity 10/10/10. You will drool and want more. This is a love for a dish you will never forget. Super friendly service, very quick service, lots of condiments. They have a few tables but I'd say you're better off eating in your car... We will be back.

If you haven't checked this place out, you have to! The food is 1000/10. The service was on point, everyone there was super friendly and looked happy to be there (except the cashier lol) but other than that no complaints. Love how they had the salsa bar where you can get your own salsas, veggies etc which is a plus. Please come here you won't regret it oh and I forgot to mention the prices, they are very affordable one plate can easily feed 2 or 3 people! Definitely coming back so I can try the Mole chilaquiles!

Now when you pull up originally you might think, "am I in the right place" but once you park and get into the courtyard, it is LOVELY! Amazing ambience! There is a bocce set up, string lights. It is a little slice of oasis in the middle of the fashion district. The restaurant itself - beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely perfect in my book. Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The service was quick and attentive. Parking was easy for us. I will definitely be back!

The staff are lovely humans who really seem to care about their customers. We have some faves on the menu. The bean dip is fabulous and I'm addicted to the baby gem salad. They have recently amped up the filling in the delicious crispy squash blossoms and I love the acidity and heat. The fish is also a hit in my books. One dish that doesn't work for me is the lamb chops, which is a shame since it's my favorite protein. I've ordered them multiple times with clear instructions on temperature and have found them overcooked and tough. The beef tostada was just ok. Whilst I loved the pickled veg on the side, the beef was underseasoned. It wasn't bad - just not up to the standard of other dishes. The vibe in the place is welcoming and the restaurant is nicely appointed. We will continue to be regulars and it's really worth trying if you haven't been yet.

Located between Koreatown and Pico-Union, this restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience from the moment you're seated. My wife and I both ordered the Mole Coloradito with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. One detail we really appreciated was being able to choose between white meat or dark meat--a thoughtful touch that lets you customize your meal to your preference. The mole was rich, complex, and full of flavor, exactly what you would hope for from a restaurant known for its Oaxacan specialties. As a welcome appetizer, they bring fresh chips and salsa to the table, but what really impressed us was when they replaced the salsa with their incredible mole sauce. It was so good we found ourselves dipping everything into it. Both meals were served with rice that was perfectly cooked with a great consistency and flavor. For those feeling adventurous, give the Chapulines (grasshoppers) a try. They may sound intimidating, but they were surprisingly enjoyable and added to the authentic experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and patient with those of us who are not fluent in Spanish. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable and welcomed throughout our visit. Great food, authentic flavors, and wonderful service make Guelaguetza a restaurant we'll definitely be returning to. Highly recommended!

As soon as you walk up the stairwell you'll be transported into this super cute place with an outdoor-indoor feel, almost like an elegant treehouse. We were seated on the second level which provided a Birds Eye view of the restaurant. We ordered a few items to share: Cameron ceviche, flautas and for our sweet tooth, French toast paired with a mango sorbet surprise with a candle for our birthdays (tip: we drizzled the melted sorbet on our French toast and took small scoops with each bite - game changer!). Everything was so delicious! We also ordered mocktails, a miche-nada for him and a lemony drink for me. This experience wouldn't have been as great without the exceptional service we had. Our waters were always refilled without asking, our tables were cleaned with every dish, honestly top-notch service! My only real bummer was discovering they took the vegan ceviche off the menu--that was actually the whole reason I came back! I'm sure they have their reasons, but I was pretty disheartened to see it go. Overall, the menu doesn't have a ton of vegan items, but they do have some room for adjustments if you ask. Despite the menu change, the incredible atmosphere and unique menu still make it a must-try.
