SUPERB PIZZA FROM THE RED TENT Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had anywhere in the world (including Italy!). You'll find it on a side street off of Laurel canyon across from the bank of America parking lot. Everything is fresh and house made, from the natural sourdough crust with no commercial yeast, to the simple and superb sauce. The cheese was especially delicious and the whole pizza comes together so deliciously that it could come from a high end restaurant. That's because the chef/owner previously worked in high end fine dining and is obsessed with making the best -- and he does! He's justifiably proud of his work and will happily explain his process and let you watch your pizza cook in his portable wood-fired oven. The menu includes specials or a choose-your-own topping choice starting at $11. Each pizza is generously sized and enough for two unless you want leftovers, which you do! There's an outdoor table and stools so you can enjoy it hot out of the wood fired oven. all together a delightful experience and pizza you will want to return for! TIPS: He only accepts cash, Venmo and Zelle. Call before you go to make sure he's there. Sometimes, such as on especially hot days, he chooses not to set up. But he always answers his phone, so you can also order in advance (though the pizza takes only about three minutes to cook in his 700 degree oven.

I've had this spot on my list of places to try for years at this point and finally tried it tonight. Super friendly staff and even better pizza! I'm so mad I slept on this spot for so long. Everything about my Prosciitto pie was excellent. The ratio of all ingredients, the freshness, the flavor. Just perfect! A little pricy but the quality of ingredients really shows and I've definitely spent more on way lower quality/lacking in flavor foods, especially since the inflation we're all going through. Absolutely worth every penny and every calorie!

A Must-Try Pizza Spot! I finally got to try this place last weekend during the rain and freezing cold, and it was absolutely worth the wait! I had it bookmarked forever, and I'm so glad I finally made it. First off, even if the pizza wasn't amazing (spoiler: it definitely is), the team alone deserves all the support. They were incredibly kind, offering us a taste of fresh bread and inviting us inside the tent to warm up by the coal. Their passion and knowledge about their craft are unbelievable. They even let us swap a meat topping for something else at no extra charge. The quality of ingredients is undeniable--they make their own oils, and you can taste the difference. After chatting with them about their process, our pizzas were ready, and let me tell you--I'm already planning my next visit. My only (minor) gripe? The pizzas are 11" but come in 10" boxes, so they get a little smooshed, and all the delicious oils soak into the cardboard. But honestly? The pizza is so good, I don't even care. I have high standards when it comes to pizza in LA, and this spot makes the cut. Just trust me--go try it, and thank me later. We ordered the MVP swapped meat for olives, the margherita and the white spinach.

Cheese pizza with sausage and black olives - very good

Been meaning to try this for awhile. Another Yelper told me about it in response to a review of another Neapolitan pizza food truck in Monterey Park, and they were not wrong about this place. The pizzas are delicious and larger than the boxes, which is kind of funny. Got one cheese, one cheese with pepperoni and sausage, and one sausage and black olives. The cheese was excellent, and the other two were very, very good. You should call and order in advance, as there can be a line. The only big downer is that it is a food truck. They don't have anywhere to sit and eat the pizza, so your only two choices are to eat it in your car or take it home, but this kind of pizza can get soggy fast and doesn't reheat well. That's a shame because it would be great if they had a regular brick and mortar pizza joint to sit down and get some beers and eat your pies. Also, keep in mind that Neapolitan pies are generally for one person, so one pie a person is a good way to know how much to order. Finally, had some difficulty with parking. Luckily there are closed businesses around where they park, so you can park in one of those and grab your pies. Definitely check this out! And, I can dream if they grow big enough they might open an actual restaurant. Highly recommended

Gerardo makes the best pizza I've had in LA! My girlfriend and I went for the first time tonight to his pop up red tent set up in North Hollywood. We saw how he made the pizza with care and great ingredients. We got the Margherita and MVP. He used buffalo mozzarella and burrata on both which I love. The crust is sourdough that is chewy but also nice and crispy because of his wood oven. I'm going back to try all his pizza! Great job guys!

The seasonal Mexican pizza! Chorizo, black beans, jalapeños, onions, and cilantro! YUM

Gerry is so great and his pizza is AMAZING!! If you live in NoHo or Valley Village, you MUST give him a try!

This place is going to be a really big deal. Fresh ingredients, unreasonably reasonable prices, and Italian inspired toppings that will have you calling for mamma mia. The sourdough dough though, makes the pizza nice and chewy with a crunch when you get down to your last bites. Finally, you don't have to worry about stagflation here. The pizza fits inside the box like how I fit in my pants after a weekend getaway to an all inclusive resort, barely.

The Bee Sting. Great Chilli honey!

Wood fired pizza on the sidewalk? Sure why not! Ventured into the heart of North Hollywood to try Cosecha. Pictures looked great and they use 400 year old sourdough starter. Arrived and parked at the closed Bank of America parking lot. Staff was extremely accommodating and patient while we decided what to order. De idea on the Bee Sting. Great choice by my wife. The neopolitan style crust was thin and with a slight char. Didn't taste much of the sourdough but the crust did have an earthy note. The toppings were great but the best part was the chili honey. It was dark like a balsamic but with a great sweet/ spicy taste. Probably some of the best hot honey I have had. Very tasty but I feel like you need to eat it fresh. This pizza will not last to long in the box. Overall a very solid pizza. Probably some of the best in the valley but not destination level. I would put it above 786 degrees but a step below the great places in LA. I really enjoyed it and will be back.

    MVP pizza !

This is a red pop up tent food vendor as it is clear in the pictures not an actual restaurant! Writing a bad review because you were under the assumption it was a "location restaurant" and could not find a brick and mortar is just wild to me lol! I wish they had a restaurant like the pizzas are soo good! Follow them on Instagram for daily updates in stories since they do catering or sometimes post at the local brewery. Like always service is friendly insightful on menu items, they are great guiding first timers choosing their perfect pizza ! Definitely recommend!

What more could one ask for?

Woah, what a pizza. I've been meaning to go here for the longest time and am glad I finally did. Talk about a flavor bomb. Eating this is like eating pasta with a crust. I don't know how else to describe it. Got a standard fennel sausage (made in house), pepperoni and basil and I can still taste it long after finishing. Simply delicious. You can see by the billboard menu it can get pretty exotic as the combinations are endless. Only one size but no biggie, just order more for the occasion. I just wish it opened earlier but it's a standup so plan accordingly. Super nice owner and one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Don't pass on this one. He's been open for 5 years and that tells you how good his pizzas are. Highly recommended.

We ordered family-style with luleh kabob, beef kabob, chicken kabob, salad, appetizers, and plenty of sides for the group. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The kabobs were tender and well-seasoned, the salads were crisp and fresh, and all of the appetizers were a big hit with our guests. Even with a large order, everything was ready on time and packaged well. It's always difficult finding a place that can consistently deliver quality food for a big family event, but Leo's exceeded our expectations. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and we received several compliments from family members asking where the food came from. Highly recommend Leo's Pizza for catering, family gatherings, and special occasions. We'll definitely be ordering from them again.
