We ordered the LA Spicy Philly and it did not disappoint. Genuinely one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've had, the flavor was phenomenal from start to finish. And the best part? I personally confirmed with the owners over the phone that their cheesesteak is halal, which means the whole family can enjoy it together. That's huge. While looking over the menu afterward, I noticed they have a lomo saltado pizza?! I'm honestly a little sad I missed that the first time around, but hey... now I have an excuse to return.

Both were excellent though we did like them more covered in some of their green and red salsa. The size makes them more filling than other tamales but not to the point where you feel stuffed.

We ordered 2 burritos with al pastor meat, extra onions/cilantro. They do heat/cook the tortillas as you order. They deal also came with an agua fresca. We got to choose between agua de pina (pineapple) or an horchata. We went with the agua de pina. The drink came with no ice, but it wasn't an issue since we were going to take our order to go and eat at home. While the burritos were being prepared, we loaded up on condiments. The radishes looked pretty old and unappetizing. I think it would be better if they were submerged in water to keep them fresh. They had cucumber, lemons, and salsas also available. They had 3 different salsas: red, green, and an avocado sauce. We tried them all. Our order was done quickly and we took it home. The burritos are a good size. Perfect for a meal. It came with red rice, beans, meat of choice, onions, and cilantro. The ingredients were plentiful and you got a bit of everything in every bite. It was nicely folded so it didn't come undone half way. The meat was cooked nicely. I do wish there was more flavor to the meat. It just lacked that extra point. But it was still an enjoyable burrito. The sauces were not spicy at all. None of them. The green one was my favorite because it had the most flavor. It had that tang. The red was good but didn't add to my burrito. The avocado salsa was also good, but I think I'd prefer this sauce on a different meat choice. Agua de pina. This was no doubt a good and refreshing drink. I'm used to the aguas from before so I think I was hoping for that fresh taste. This one tasted artificial and more like a soda without the carbonation. Like a flat Jarritos almost. It wasn't TOO sweet, but it's still a sweet drink. I think I'd try the horchata next time. They do have different specials for different days of the week. We walked across the street and bought one Al Pastor taco. It was one of the best I have tried, the meat was a little crispy, tender and flavorful. I was looking to see if there were multiple locations and I found one closer to home but I noticed the Yelp has it as a La Poblainita truck so an extra "i" in the name. I didn't notice at the time and drove out to try the Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos. The Al Pastor tacos were pretty good, almost like the one we tried on Melrose. The Carnitas taco had tender meat but it was saltier than most other taco trucks. I also tried an Al Pastor Quesadilla which was excellent, the cheese was melted and stringy mixed with slightly crispy and flavorful Al Pastor meat. The pictures of the truck show the name as La Pablonita but Yelp shows the name as La Pabloinita. Either name, the food is pretty good and I plan to keep it on my list of street tacos nearby.
