I finally got the chance to try Pablitos Tacos after my bestie drove us out here for a late birthday lunch that I treated her to. She had mentioned before how much she liked the food, so I knew I had to check it out for myself. The stand is located in the parking lot of Circus Liquor. It's a decent-sized setup, and since we showed up earlier in the day there wasn't a line. I'm really glad we beat the rush because I've heard this spot can get packed. We skimmed the menu pretty quickly because I already knew I wanted to try the lomo tacos. I ordered two, she got three, and we shared an order of fries. The service was friendly and polite, and our food came out within just a few minutes. There isn't any seating, so we ended up eating in the car which I honestly didn't mind at all. The tortillas tasted fresh and almost handmade, and the tacos had all the same delicious flavors you'd expect from lomo saltado--minus the fries, so it worked out perfectly that we ordered some on the side. The fries themselves were hot, crispy, and well seasoned without being overly salty. They paired really well with the tacos. I'd definitely come back again. While looking over the menu afterward, I noticed they have a lomo saltado pizza?! I'm honestly a little sad I missed that the first time around, but hey... now I have an excuse to return. read more

I have no idea who hated on my spot and bought the rating down to a 3.9 but here I am to review it at five stars because this place is amazing. Do not be fooled by at 3.9 it needs to be 4.9 this is the best burrito on earth. OK the Lotto burrito will change your life. I love it so much. My favorite was the Lomo Saltado Pizza! Gawd it was delicious! It was everything you get in Lomo Saltado on a pizza. The fries and meat were yummy. I tried my nephew's burger and the patty was juicy and had a good special sauce I can't describe what it was. I took a big bite off cousin's California burrito. What is better than having a California burrito in California! The wood fire torta was chef's kiss. I watched them prepare this and my oh my, the grilling of melting the cheese before sealing the torta was perfect. Biting the torta and tasting a little grill flavor in the melted cheese was amazing. The rib plate is a must try. Juicy generous size ribs with rice, wow! One of my cousins wanted to trade platters because these ribs were so good! It's a good reason for him to go back. Circling back to the pizza.. the birria pizza was delicious. Dipping a slice of pizza pie was fulfilling. The guys at the pizza station were awesome. They made the pizzas with love and fresh on the spot; made to order. Last but not the least, the loaded fries. You must get the fries and share with your family/friends or enjoy solo. It was a huge platter of fries with the works! .. meat, cheese, onions, guacamole, cheese.. I'd really like to leave 5 stars. The food is amazing! However.... I've noticed for a while now that they have been giving out less of the green crack sauce that they are famous for. I've told them and they asked which location, then never got back to me. That is complaint 1 of 3. 2. Taco Tuesday! Their $1 tacos are good. But, they have gotten my order incorrect MULTIPLE times. Either they didn't put a topping paid for on, or my favorite instance was when they used lettuce instead of tortilla to wrap the taco. 3. Finally, I've run into this issue a few times. Their pizza at this location is outstanding. I usually order online so it's ready when I get there. They send a text telling when it will be ready. I get there 5 minutes after that time, and they still haven't finished making it. "5 minutes" they usually tell me, and then it takes 3 times the amount. Good food. Inconsistent service. read more

Saw this place on Instagram so checked it out one night. So glad we did! It's on a parking lot with a few spots of parking available. We started with Agua Frescas of the Day, which was mango and watermelon. So good on a hot day! We got Honey Garlic Chicken Sandwich right from their mesquite grill, wok fried Lomo Saltado, and margarita pizza fresh from the brick oven. Everything was so delicious! These tacos are an acquired taste as they are Peruvian style. I did not like their green sauce at all. Aji Verde (Peruvian Green Sauce) is a bright, spicy Peruvian condiment that uses hucatay (black mint) paste, aji amarillo (Chile) and cilantro leaves. I think it's the mint I just couldn't get my palate to like it. They definitely load each taco with meat so much that I struggled to eat three tacos and I usually eat five street tacos. They also offer wood fired pizza at this location but I opted out as I got so full with the tacos. You NEED Mexican soda to swallow these tacos hahaha. Good spot but food takes a while. I'm used to my street food being served to me on the spot. This place is like ordering from a food truck. Have to wait 25 minutes for it to come out. That's wild, but what's even crazier is that they have a wood fire oven to cook their delicious pizzas. I ordered the wood fire torta with shrimp, it was everything I needed on a Thursday night and more. My partner had the tacos and was more than satisfied with two. We also tried the churro with the filling, also delicious. Their horchata agua fresca was sweet and fresh. The customer service is friendly and they really work to make sure your order is out in a timely manner. There is no seating, so you either eat this in the car, standing, or have the will power to wait until you are home. Once I unwrapped my four asada tacos I was shocked to see that my $14 plate was lacking some meat. I used to visit Pablito's at their Van Nuys stand but tonight this NoHo location was on my way home and it had been a while so I knew I had to stop by. It's a whole lot bigger than the old stand so I am happy to see they expanded to the pizza, brick & mortar, and still have their food truck. Let me start with the negative because the food is still great. I don't think the cashier knows what she is doing or she is too distracted because she definitely rang me up wrong. I ordered the following: (2) queso tacos with shrimp = $10 (queso tacos are $4 each plus $1 for shrimp) (2) regular tacos with chicharron = $5 (1) regular horchata = $4 That should bring the total to $19, after tax, maybe $22 at the most. I was also paying cash so the total should reflect the exact amounts above as the menu boards show. Tell me why and how I was charged $27? Sadly at that moment I didn't think or bother to check the menu, sometimes you just think you did your own math wrong but now that I'm home (too late, I know) I realize I was charged an extra $5-6. I didn't get a receipt of the breakdown of prices but my bag had the kitchen receipt showing exactly what I ordered above. Even if I were to pay credit card, the menu says that would be a 4% extra charge, it wouldn't be as much as what I paid. So at least while eating the food, I'm glad it's still as great as before. The queso tacos were loaded with cheese and crispy with plump shrimp in every bite and topped with crunchy cabbage. The chicharron was so crispy and tasty, a little dry but got better with the cilantro crack sauce. And that sauce is just one of the best around. The horchata was also amazing, smooth and rich without being overly sweet. I'll go back but I'll make sure to check the price and receipt breakdown before paying next time. read more

Waiting 45 minutes for a couple burritos could be worth it under the right conditions. These are the conditions. I have come here several times but seem to never get to writing a review. I know, I'm horrible, but their food is good. Parking can be a nightmare depending how busy they are. You can use the parking lot at the Circus Liquor, but it can fill up if they are busy, and be careful with cars backing out if your are waiting in line to order your food or waiting for your food. If they were a little closer to my house like they used to be in Van Nuys, I would come by more often. My favorite thing is the keto (lettuce) tacos. Sorry, not pictured. (Hand over face in embarassment) LOL My favorite option for meat is the lomo saltado, but do not sleep on the carne asada or pastor. The lomo saltado fries were good but after driving home they were soggy. They use thick cut fries which aren't my favorite cut, but Injust wish it wasn't soggy. This place is not a hole-in-the-wall kinda place so a single taco will set you back quite a bit, but thank God it is not a two-biter. They now have pizzas.
