Being an avid reader, I know never to judge a book by its cover, but the artwork on the can is honestly what got me to check out Honees Honees. It's dubbed a peanut butter & honey golden ale, which is an ale brewed with honey and lactose, with peanut butter flavor and caramel color. The artwork that so powerfully snatched my attention sort of conveys that in its own unique and trippy way. Pouring the ale reveals a clear dark gold/amber color. I found the peanut butter to be stronger on the nose than the palate. Taste favored honey, with hints of peanuts, caramel malts, and a sweet (for a beer) finish. It weighs in at 5.6% ABV. As for the coffee, I tried the carrot cake latte as per baristas recommendation and was really good! I got a 12 oz with an extra shot because I like my coffee flavor strong and it was perfect. The espresso has a bit of that bitter taste so if that's not what you like this probably isn't the coffee for you. My only reason for 4 stars is the price. My coffee was 8.92 with no tip so I paid $10 for a 2 shot drink today. I hope that once they have been running the coffee part for a while that the price can come down at least a dollar. Most extra shots are about 75 cents to 1 dollar at other coffee shops whereas it's 1.25 here. Will be back to try other specialty items!

The wines are solid, and it's fun to try a variety, especially some of their more unique options. The staff was really helpful in making suggestions also and knew the history of the vineyard which was cool to learn more about. The only thing I felt was missing was more food. They do have a small section where you can grab items to build your own charcuterie board, but I'd love to see a few more food options added.
