Due to a chronic condition I have needed sedation. So the recommendation wasn't news to me. But, being " alone" it's a very difficult thing to find someone who can drive me, wait throughout the procedure, and then get me back home. I called on a Monday morning & was put on a wait list. During that time I could feel the juice from the IV antibiotic treatment wearing off and " Chicken" me was terrified of the pain I'd experienced returning. I ended up calling toward the end of the week and asking to speak directly with the Dr. my appointment was with - who I'd seen before, Dr. Lori Jurgens. I explained to her what was happening. She listened and asked that I stay on hold for a moment. Well, I don't think it was 2 minutes before she got back to me to come in to their Peabody office the next morning- which was a Saturday early (8;00 am) and they would do the procedure! I couldn't thank her enough & said I'd definitely be there. Saturday morning: my ride came in with me. We waited maybe 5 minutes if that. Everything was all set. The receptionist had everything ready. I went into the room where they started my IV for sedation. The whole thing must have taken just a few minutes because when I was in the area where you go afterwards, I looked at my phone.. maybe 15 minutes went by in all? I wasn't in any pain. The staff waited with me while I adjusted after the sedation. I got up to leave & all was great. I was given post surgery instructions that were not hard to follow. Pain was minimum & the healing took the usual amount of time. It's been a week & I'm doing just fine. I can't thank Dr Jurgens & all the staff enough for their kindness!

On a day during which he was filled with surgeries Dr. Blaeser stayed 4 hours late to perform a difficult a surgery to repair the breaks and realign her teeth.We are so grateful to Dr. Blaeser and his 8 person surgical team, all of whom rearranged family plans on a Friday night to care for our daughter. They took the time to explain all of our options and to reassure us in the post op debriefing. When she was injured in southeastern Massachusetts we knew we had to drive hours to Dr. Blaeser's in rush hour Friday traffic, but we insisted on it in the emergency room because we knew he was the best! Honestly, I would have flown her in from any college in the country for his level of care! Sure we will always remember the text/phone call about the injury and seeing her at first sight, but thanks to Dr. Blaaser and his team whenever we see her smile we will remember how she was surrounded by love!

I changed dentists and discovered many oversights from AD. First, the bridge can be saved with proper treatment. Wait and see. Second, bite wing xrays were perhaps never done in the back at AD because two problem areas showed up. Cracked tooth on top in the back and cavity under crown on bottom. I had teeth cleaned and was told at AD "We don't do stains, just tartar." So the new dentist assistant cleaned the stains! Billing is crazy as they are still billing me for 4 years ago when customer service says they can't. Had a terrible experience with one girl in the front a couple of years ago. Just wanted to explain about billing incorrectly and she wouldn't stop talking, like reading from a best practices book. I asked her to shut up and she said I was offensive. I wrote to corporate. Don't recommend this place at all.

His approach was thoughtful and conservative. Coming in knowing that I needed a fair amount of work done (cracked teeth, new/replacement crowns, etc.) he laid out a plan of treatment, prioritizing what should be done right away versus what could wait, and we've been tackling it step by step. I got an infection from the surgery causing severe pain and swelling for days upon days upon days. I called the office the day after the surgery explained my issues and I was pretty much pushed the side by the nurse as she was very unhelpful and didn't show an ounce of empathy or concern. Did the office ever call me back and see how I was doing? No the answer is no. One of my other dentists opened her office with open arms to help me in my time of need into resolve my infection. Not these guys.
