Saw this new Greek place and gave it a try for lunch after working on my unique skills for certain situations, and I worked up an appetite. So I was ready to eat. Staff were friendly. We sat and had our drink order taken. We ordered a chicken gyro and a "famous" gyro. The salad was good but the dressing was not Greek. Olive and raspberry gave it a pink color. Interesting but not what one would expect. Chicken gyro was flavorful and a good portion. The fries that came with my gyro were the start to be honest. Hot and crispy. The famous gyro meat as off slightly. I did not see the rotating spit of meat and it seems like the meat was out of a bag. Just my gut feeling. Flavor was pretty good but it borderline greasy from the chef putting it on the flattop to warm it. As a result no char on it that I am used to getting on meat of a spit in a gyro. The floor was great and a person not solid on their feet could slip. I mentioned it to the staff and they said " we have an open kitchen so we track grease into the dining area". All I can say is wrong answer. That earned the three star review. Not the best Greek in the area but their menu has some interesting items worth the trip back to try. read more

Tried a new place for lunch today since I was down in Palm Bay. This place is a true gem! Cute and comfy decor indoor with plenty of space to dine in a quaint space. Ordered at the counter. Service was friendly. Enjoyed the gyro with no tomatoes and french fries. Food came out fast and fresh. The gyro had so much meat in it and tasted delicious. Loved the fries and they were piping hot. I picked up a to-go order here a few years back and didn't remember being too impressed, but the craving for Greek struck me this week and I said let's give it another try. I decided to eat-in and the staff welcomed me and had me pick any table. I ordered the Mediterranean rice bowl and subbed shrimp. I got the avgolemono to start and wish I didn't. The flavor is kind of one note and the soup is as plain as can be. You can absolutely skip it. I think they forgot about the soup because it came out about 3 mins before my entree... But the rice bowl was great! I would totally get this again. It's basic, but flavorful. And the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I did have to ask for my tzatziki which the menu said came with. I adore Greek green beans and these were fine. Not great, but not the worst. There was plenty of seating for the lunch crowd. Local small greek style fast service restaurant. There is seating inside, the theme and decor is calm. I've order a few things form the menu now. Everything has been good so far. The food isn't stand out and its not terrible at all. It good for what it is. Ive been back multiple times and will come back again. Service can vary depending on time of day/night, staff on duty, how busy they are that day. Nothing to complain about, they are always friendly. March 20, 2026: I arrived at 8:01 PM on a Friday evening. The sign on the door clearly stated they close at 9 PM. When I walked in, I saw an employee on the floor rolling up a mat. I asked if they were still open, keeping in mind there was nearly an hour left before closing. She hesitated, said "umm, hold on," and went to the back to check with the manager. At that point, I decided to leave. I understand beginning to close up 15-30 minutes before closing, but starting an hour early (and then seeming unsure about serving a customer) was surprising. I had been a regular here for years, but after new ownership took over, I noticed a decline in both service and food quality, so I stopped coming. After several months away, I decided to give it another try, and unfortunately, this was my experience. read more

The only thing we did not love was the salad presentation. Whole leaves of romaine which seems like an afterthought on a plate. Changing the presentation of that could do a lot for a customer ordering the salad. Despite consistently enjoyable meals, this tucked-away treasure in the shopping center often slips our mind when we're in the area. Really wanted to love this place but for now I'd say it's just okay. Place was cute but I only stayed long enough to place a to-go order (they weren't answering their phones). Husband and I had the gyro wrap with beef and lamb. It was a very very generous portion of meat, which is always good and definitely earned them an extra star. I had the soup as my side and it was kind of thick in a gloopy, gelatinous way that didn't go down too well. Husband had the fries which were just okay (disappointing because on the online menu they claim they're the best fries ever?). Service was probably the biggest downside. Not sure what I did to displease the lady who took my order but she was unwelcoming from the time I walked in. Wow, this place is getting worse every time we come. We do go every few weeks, but something changed like a year ago. They went from counter service to servers. The new format only works if you have enough workers. We went in and were initially going to eat in. However, the place was trashed.....literally. They have two folks working there and when I say working, I mean working their tails off. They need help. There were dishes on most tables. Again, you can't run a restaurant with two people. So we decided to take out. We either got someone else's order or they made us the wrong food. We get home and my Gyro was correct. Sadly, it wasn't that good. Instead of strips of meat, this had strips and chunks. I wouldn't care, but it wasn't that great. What's worse, my wife's falafel turned out to be a second gyro. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and there were 4 tables already filled. We were told to have a seat and quickly realized they had one employee taking orders, waiting on tables and cooking. She was very sweet and apologized that it would be some time before she'd get to us. She spoke to us at every point and made sure we were good by simply saying I'll be with you. It doesn't take much to keep us at an establishment when we may have to wait without service longer than expected- a smile, acknowledgement of our presence and just being kind goes a long way, and she seemed to know that. We ordered one gyro with beef and gyro meat, and another with chicken, as well as the quesadilla. Everything was absolutely delicious. The quesadilla was to die for! They put the pickled peppers in the quesadilla. It comes on a bed of salad and it's sooooo good! We had the fries with one gyro and a salad with the other. The fries were spot on. Soft inside, hard outside and tasted delicious. The salad dressing was delicious! We will totally be back. Small note: I'm not sure if this is in their control but I did want to note that there was a horrible sulfur smell outside which would impact all the businesses there- not just this one, and it was a bit off putting but it didn't seep into the establishment. Stopped by for a second time and got some lunch. I ordered a gyro with greek salad. I received my order pretty quickly. The salad and gyro didn't just smell great, but was hot and appealing to the eye. The salad dressing is a bit different but compliments the mix of vegetables and feta very well. The flat bread that my gyro was wrapped in was warm, dense, and buttery. The meat inside was expertly prepared and very tasty. The Gyro was stuffed with a reasonable amount of veggies and contained the perfect amount of sauce. Absolute Worst place to order to go. They get it wrong 9 out of 10 times. The cashier cant think if there is more than one person in the restaurant. The cook was also rude. The manager kenny would not refund me without going back to the restaurant. Who wants to drive back after getting home to the dinner table at 5pm. When i asked for the managers name they said they didnt have to give it to me. This last time i ordered a chicken gyro with salad and a souvlaki gyro with fries. I got two beef/lamb gyros. No fries on either. One salad. The only time i walked out with correct order is when i checked it before i left. And they had to fix the order. Typically i'm tired after work and forget to check it. I ordered the Greek salad with some chicken on top. Which is a pretty standard order for me. I wasnt expecting the "leathery" romaine as the lettuce choice. I've usually enjoyed refreshing and juicy iceberg with this dish. The 3 slices of cucumber that was offered the dish with the dish also set it up to further it to be a dry offering. The "creamy" greek dressing was ....Pink in color and lacked the zest and tang and refreshing quality of other greek salads I've enjoyed. It was also quite sweet...which personally doesn't appeal to me. The chicken had great flavor but was also dry. So overall, the salad was sweet, dry and leathery. There were some good flavors but a 4 out of 10 on total execution. Services was wonderful fast! I was hungry so it did the job. I would go again but be very specific when ordering. I first reviewed "Spiro's Kitchen" when his only location was in Vero Beach. I gave it four stars then and I give the West Melbourne store four stars now. Slapped inside Hammock Landings--the megalopolis open air shopping plaza--this location is spartan and the menu is stripped down. Tip of the hat to Leann the waitstaff, who worked alone but handled thirty customers like a hot knife through butter. I should point out that this is a newer restaurant, and they have a Gyro spit, so the lying liars at Pat's Place are full of prunes. I don't know what kind of zoopery they are performing at Pat's, but at Spiro's, I feel more confident that the proteins include real beef and lamb. I ordered Spiro's Famous Gyros, a hand cut blend of seasoned beef and lamb, sliced thin, served with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and homemade super creamy Greek yogurt tzatziki on a toasted bun. This is a winner. Then I tried the Falafel, which was deep fried to order, not frozen reheat. These balls of ground chickpeas and spices were served in a grilled pita with the same fresh veggies and delicious tzatziki sauce as the gyros. Both items came with a choice of fries, soup, or salad. I don't ever leave bad reviews but this is the second time i've gone, First time was ok. This second time I was very upset with the service, I wanted to try it again so I ordered a sandwich. After a 35 minute wait, my sandwhich was cold and had no lettuce, my side salad was filled with wilted lettuce. When we asked to remake the salad and sandwich we were told there was no lettuce(which would have been nice to know before I ordered) Also my girlfriend ordered a burger well done no tomatoes Came with tomatoes and blood We cannot have any meat that is not well done. We ordered take out online on Saturday, October 12. 1 Falafel gyro, 3 gyros, 1 trio spreads. It stated our order would be ready in 15 min. When we arrived we were told that they had no gyro meat. Ok. We requested that they refund our money. Well she couldn't get in touch with anyone who had the code for the refund. We were forced to order 3 items we didn't want. The trio spread was incorrect. Instead of receiving a feta spread, they gave us 2 hummus and a tzatziki sauce. The cook was overwhelmed, He was a trainee and the girl trying to help wasn't much better. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for our substituted food and it was overcooked. We were angry and disappointed that we had to pay for food we didn't want. Exploring this area during my travels I decided to give this place a try. Upon entering, the restaurant felt warm and musty. Four people were waiting on their orders. The worker notified me that it was takeout only which I was okay with. At this point I was unaware that only one worker was running the grill and register. While placing my order I watched the worker (who was wearing gloves) touch his face, then touch the cash I handed him. He then moved along to prepare someone's food with the same dirty gloves. This was when I realized he was the only person working. I looked around the restaurant while I waited for my order and noticed it was very dirty: sticky tables, scraps and trash surrounding the garbage can, pieces of food all over the floor in the cook's station. Witnessing all of this made me lose my appetite. Still, I remained hopeful that the food would be okay. I ordered a chicken gyro with salad. When I received my order, the packaging was extremely sloppy. There was feta cheese smeared all over the bag and outside of the container. For the food, most of the lettuce was wilted. I ate a cherry tomato which tasted like sink water/chlorine. I could not get myself to eat the rest. This was possibly the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. If these issues were due to understaffing, management should seriously consider hiring more people. read more

It's great to have a decent Greek Restaurant (fast food type) in Hammock Landing. Palm Bay doesn't have anything close to this so they are a very welcome addition. Some notes: 1. They have soup and it's good but needs to be served warmer. 2. The greek salads are pre made and are pretty simple. 3. The rest of the menu is GOOD. They will even customize your order if you ask the cook. Lastly, the customer service is great and they do sell alcoholic beverages. Opa! read more

I love Greek food and I've gotten take out from here 2-3 times before last night and it's been a little better than okay... until last night. I always order the Famous Gyro. Last night it seemed like the pita had shrunk from the last time I ordered by about an inch, thus making it smaller, thus getting less meat etc. for the same price if not more. Then ALL, not one or two pieces, but all of the lettuce was brown and disgusting. I understand if it's a little wilted from the heat of the meat, but this was gross.
