Great food, ambiance, and service! Don't wait to get seated, seat yourself and order at the front counter. My family and I ordered the Mediterranean, the medi bowl, and doquitos. I tried everything and it was all delicious. The portions are large as well. I was especially impressed with the fried pita strips with the kids meal. The wait was about 20 minutes to get food which seemed long, but we played one of the many board games they had. All of the servers were friendly and helpful. Love love love this place, from the very first time I was there. The food is to die for because the flavors and variety of veg in each dish is so diverse. My personal favorite is the vegan berliner wrap with falafel and some extra red sauces. Its so fun to be there too because of the unique art and color scheme of the whole place. It makes it easy to just chill out and hang- especially when there are games you can get out and play! What really keeps me motivated with coming back though is how kind everyone is that works there. First: Clean! Second: Ordering process worked well. I don't like leaving a tip if I'm the one who goes to a counter to order my food and pay for it first. What am I tipping for? Third: 33 minutes passed until my food was ready. Mine was one of five occupied tables. I figuratively watched my fingernails grow. Four: Greek salad had no dressing on it. Five: The Gyro meat had been sliced long beforehand and kept on a steam table or other means to keep it warm long enough that it could dry out. The staff were very friendly. The loaded fries were amazing. We got them without green pepper and olive. Probably the best takeout food we have ever had. Unfortunately, they missed the mark on the gyro. The meat was overcooked and just not the best flavor in our opinion. In addition, we ordered it without the Berliner sauce but it was still on it. If I had the chance I'd try again but maybe ensure we didn't have the sauce on it and maybe the beef is better. I'd definitely recommend the loaded fries. What a great addition to downtown for a fast, healthy, trendy lunch spot. Mediterranean foods but don't sleep on their wings! Awesome wings, little extra breading and fried to a crisp but the chicken doesn't suffer, fall off the bone juicy. The beef/lamb Berliner wrap was great, the Berliner red sauce is great. Street cart fries are money. The Gyro was a touch underwhelming but I will say that lamb meat is great, shaved off a rack and not like premade meat sheets like Arby's or pita pit etc.. The service was super friendly, some newbies in the industry working there for sure.. and a poor menu system. You walk up with no clue and ask new employees that don't know either So they've added the paper menus like if you were to seat yourself and hurrily read off that with no pictures.. good luck and god speed! The app is good, reward system doesn't rack up free wraps as quick as some sandwich/burrito places do etc but it's something. And my to-go orders have been ready when I get there in a hurry! I tried the remix bowl on my second visit and it was a little dry for my liking. Mixed meat (chicken, beef-lamb) is a great option or just the beef-lamb is pretty good. It's both beef and lamb...I misread the menu thinking it was one or the other but it is both and very delicious. The falafel was somewhat dry and too crunchy. The atmosphere's fun and low key. I was excited about the Doquitos- Greek version of Taquitos- unfortunately they ran out (good sign) but had one left. So I went with traditional Gyro. WE WERE TOTALLY CRAVING GYROS I will start with the part we didn't enjoy, but don't let this sway your decision to try this place.... It gets way better. As we walked up to the establishment and opened the door there were 8 to 10 people crammed into the small confined entrance area. For our comfort, and the others already standing and waiting, we chose to wait outside the door, really not understanding what was happening. Keep in mind, it was the busy lunch hour. When the crowd thinned out some, we ventured in to assess the situation. Turns out the menus are provided in a wall holder for patrons to examine while they wait to order and pay at the single counter cash register at the start of the restaurant. Here you are given a table sign so the staff know where to deliver your order. While that part was slightly off-putting for us, this is where it gets good. we ordered 2 beef & lamb gyro combos and I decided to treat myself to a red sangria cocktail. The gyros were fantastic! The pita bread was soft, warm and so tasty! They must season it. There was ample meat, fresh red onions, and the tzatziki sauce was on point! If you LOVE tzatziki, as I do, I suggest you ask for extra. I wish my gyro had more. They top the gyros with a few very yummy seasoned fries. I picked mine off, only because the combination was foreign to me. I did eat them of course. They were really good. Our combo came with sweet potato waffle fries, which were fantastic! They give you a garlic aioli dipping sauce that was also great! My red sangria was slightly sweeter than I prefer, but it had a great fresh fruit flavor with fresh apples and pear chunks floating atop. Our food came out quickly, and the gals bussing the tables were quick to spot empty dishes and promptly cleared them away after asking if we were through with them. The atmosphere was bright and fun! Super colorful stencil painted walls, very utility/industrial style light fixtures that were very cool to look at. Plenty of tables and seating. They have an assortment of board games to choose from and play at your table. The bar seating is somewhat limited. I liked the way it was presented. There was definitely the hum of chattering conversations, but that's to be expected in this type place. Nothing overwhelming by any means. Ok... Here's the other thing, there is some free street parking. At this busy time we were unable to find a spot. We took a chance and parked in the bank parking lot off to the side and made it out unscathed of a parking ticket, So YAY! All in all we really enjoyed our meal. Total tab $40 for 2. read more
